Many things are remodeled and clean

There are smells of pee around the bathroom. Asked to the front desk and changed the room. But the the other room has not much different.

The room was everything that was described as the website. The employees were helpful and professional. Ample parking, clean property, clean room, very comfortable. They provided shampoo, conditioner and soap. We had a microwave and refrigerator. Free breakfast, which we didn't get to enjoy, but it was our fault. I would absolutely recommend this hotel 100%. We will be staying here again.

We asked the person at the front of they had a late check out and he said he could give us an extra hour and in the morning we had housekeeping and another person at the front desk asking when we're leaving. Once things were clarified, everything worked out. I would recommend this establishment.

I loved everything from the ease of the reservation, the location and the great price! The Grove is located really conveniently, directly behind the shopping outlets of pismo beach, it's next door to brooks burgers and across the street from huckleberrys which is absolutely delicious! There's a gas station just a stones throw away as well. I want to add a few comments about the room itself, the beds were real comfortable, my 9 year old daughter had a hard time waking up because she was sleeping so well, she also just purely didn't want to get up because she was so comfy! They have a sparkly looking pool thats open until 10pm I can't really give an honest review about the pool because we did not have the privilege of using it. The office is currently undergoing a "makeover" so there is a table with employees to assist you with your reservation BUT the great helpers they are certainly make up for whatever you might think walking in. The lady who assisted us was really sweet and incredibly informative. Don't second guess yourself definitely book the grove!!

There wasn't anything I didn't like

The pool area was very clean the water was a good temperature. Shower in room was good very clean plenty of room. All facilities were great.

Directions were a little off .. we drove past the hotel a couple of times before finding it. The distance from the beach meant having to drive although the details said otherwise. The coffee machine was in the wrong place to use whilst filling up the machine was easy to spill water onto the microwave.

Water pressure is weak, especially in the shower. Bath area too small. No hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom. TV signal is not good. Need another nightstand and small table for eating.

We were pleasantly surprised with The Grove in Pismo Beach. The room was very clean, a good size, and had the best shower (water pressure). The room was also equipped with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Our check-in was easy and although they were doing renovations in the restaurant and breakfast was not being served they supplied a snack pack in the morning. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and other guests were enjoying it. There was ample parking and our room was quiet.

I loved that it was on/ off the freeway. The Staff are Amazing and accommodating.the room is what you expect by beach clean comfortable bed when you come back from beach or using the heated pool and long peanut shaped jacuzzi 😊 Patio was cute and inviting. Other plus you had outlets fast food /gas walking distance. Overall price and place was Great.

Breakfast was good

we didn't like that we had someone walk into our room who was given the same key as us and are in bed and someone opens up our door. the new girl who wasn't paying attention gave out the same key. that was wrong on her part she should of been paying better attention not to make that mistake. its a nice place to stay but we won't be staying there again.

The pool is heated and the hot tub is huge and clean. For the $ its hard to beat this place. Not too noisy, ez parking, it's clean and the staff, and one in particular (Monica) has gone above and beyond for us, and is really nice (to everyone). She deserves a raise. Thank you Monica.

No breakfast. No elevator, and when on the second floor that is nice to have. Neither thing is a big deal tho.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I wake up every day with a stiff back. I woke up both mornings of our stay feeling amazing. I actually wanted to ask staff what brand it was! Very clean came with coffee machine in the room, nice shower. Walk-in shower but as long as a bath. Came with 6 feathered pillows and the most comfortable blankets. I loved everything about it. Definitely going back next month.
