The hotel surely has seen many guests and the interior looks outdated and worn. The bathroom had a 1970's/80's style, and the parquet floor is creaking. I thought it had a certain nostalgic charme, which I value too, so I didn't mind. If you expect a modern IKEA-style place, this hotel isn't for you. If you like a decent place to sleep for a good price and don't mind old-fashioned interior, this hotel is just fine. I'd stay there again. There are two bus lines with a bus stop right in front of the hotel. One is connecting you easily to the circle line (S41/S42) at S Bhf. Neukoelln, and the tube line U7 is just a 10 min walk away. One bus line is quickly going to Rudow, from where you can take a 16 min bus ride to BER airport Terminals 1 and 2 (or 13 min to Terminal 5). A supermarket (Lidl) and restaurants are also only a few minutes away from the hotel. The supermarket opens Mondays to Saturdays. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast, so coffee may be an issue (try the gas station and don't bother with the Lidl vending machine "coffee"). Otherwise, you can treat yourself with a Turkish breakfast at the Susam Café und Frühstückshaus about 16 min by foot away. The staff was very helpful.

The hotel is next to a relatively busy road. If your room is towards the road side, sleeping with open windows in summer is not pleasant in the morning. With closed windows, it'll be fine but for summer trips keep in mind that there is no air conditioning. Nothing I'd expect or wished for but some guests might want to be aware of.

Everything was clean and comfy. The people working there are kind and nice.

The food inside is pricey but I think it is what it is when it's that close to the airport. There's no thing like a vending machine and there's no shops close. The room is very very small but it has everything you need to catch a good comfy sleep.

Big bathroom, comfy beds, music channel on TV, and the restaurant (located directly below the hotel) staff were nice and helpful as well. There is a really good Japanese restaurant nearby, too!

Small things like the Wi-Fi not reaching our room and there being no mop or something of the like to gather the water after shower. Other than that, it was nice.

Very close to the airport and great for a one night stay. Check in was easy and well communicated.

Still 1 hr away from the city center. Noisy at night with all the traffic. The floors creak badly and the whole place smells of smoke even though it says they don't allow it.

Warm and cozy, basic room, clean

No fridge, just 1 chair per room, small, really far away from the Center, not even close to being Neukoln (5/6 stops from there)

Staff were very helpful, despite the slight language barrier, let us check in early and leave our bags with them so we were able to go and explore Berlin! Thank you very much for a lovely stay 😊

Nothing, it was great!

Very nice restaurant downstairs, good staff, a lot of caffes and shops nearby.

Extremely creaky floors, no cofee/tee or any way to make it/get it, restaurant opens only at 12, parking is free but on street, not on site.

Very pleasant staff, missed the breakfast but the staff went out of their way for me and made me two coffee!

The room we rented has a very moist bathroom with no working ventilation. It has a bad smell but, it does come with a bath!

Clean and comfortable beds. Nice green bathroom. Everything was in good condition. No problem with parking on the street. Room was ready even before check-in time. Interesting room decor.

We had to look for staff and wait a bit. Lack of breakfast service.

A solid choice for staying close to the airport, with plenty of street parking, and our room even had a small balcony.
