Great view of the Zell am see lakeside, they also give you zell am see-kaprun summer card in which you can do a lots of actives for free.

We (me and my wife) couldn't sleep properly because of the train noise. It is very noisy, I mean, I do not kidding it's a nightmare unless you close the door and window, and if you do, there is no air conditioning. I strongly recommend adding an air conditioning system!

One of the best staff at the hotel , always eager to suggest activities to do. Very clean room with good breakfast. Best location 5 minutes walking from train station and bus station. Close to center and the lake.

Take in mind that there is no AC. the only way to cool the room is with a door that is very close to the train track so it can get noisy

The host was amazing ! The lady that greeted us was just so welcoming and helpful. We are currently travelling round Europe and we’ve had our fair share of rude/ unhelpful people! She was lovely, even made sure we got onto the next water taxi to the beach! Which I didn’t no but the summer pass is included in your stay so we paid nothing ! Also included is the gondola up the mountain which we did on our 2nd day and was amazing! Buses included too! The hotel is gorgeous. The room was clean and beautiful. Cleaner came in on the 2nd day which I was totally embarrassed about (my fault) as I didn’t expect them to so I’d left my clothes everywhere! But bless her, hung all my clothes up and the room was just amazing when we got back - she’s a diamond! Honestly just beautiful hotel and staff, the view from the balcony unbelievable!

The hotel is situated in a pretty building near the lake, and within 5 minutes of the train station and a couple of minutes to the very heart of the city center. The room was modern, but at the same time decorated in a traditional style fitting with the building. The view from the balcony to the lake was great, every bit as good as the photos suggest. All the staff we encountered were lovely. The included guest card was also outstanding value; I arrived expecting to pay for quite a few cable cars and other attractions, only to find that the guest card covered all of them, as well as the bus journey to reach them!

Between the hotel and the lake is a railway line. As a railway enthusiast this made me happy...in the day time. Alas, it turns out that while passenger services stop at night, noisier freight trains continue! We had the misfortune to be staying on some very hot weather days, so needed to have the balcony door open so the room wasn't too stuffy to sleep. On the cooler days, closing the door kept the noise out well.

Proximity to train and bus station and center, many halal restaurants and butcheries/groceries around, and right opposite the boat trip. Breath taking views and 3 windows in mh room which all opened fully, kettle and mini fridge was very much needed.Lift in hotel.Most European hotels fail to provide such basic necessities but Seehof was not disappointing at all.Helful staff helped plan my whole self sufficient itinerary and stayed 3 nights so got the Zellamsee card n got to see Kaprun as well.Free public transport.

The lake view means train station and noise from train screeching. They do provide you with ear plugs too which is excellent. Matress is too soft for my liking but ample night and day light in tye room and fresh air, u cannot beat ot with the viewd.

Location: 2 mins and you’re by this beautiful town centre square with restaurants and a Billa supermarket! A bus stop and Zell Am See train station is also just less than 5 mins walk away. Lake Zell is just across the hotel. Such lovely views! Check-in and out + hotel stay: Evelyn warmly welcomed us in the hotel. She was very informative and helpful. We got our summer cards easily as the hotel got it ready for us in just a few minutes. Breakfast was included in our booking. It was your average continental breakfast. PLEASE NOTE parking space is available when there is a free space. I recommend contacting hotel in advance if you are staying and in need of a car space. This isn’t included in the booking but really useful and convenient if you do need parking. Room was good. For a family of 3 with a baby, it felt a bit small as we requested for a cot. But having a balcony made it better as for times when my husband or I would need some time alone, we can go to the balcony and just look at the lake and its busy life around it. It was quite warm inside the room as it was very sunny in Zell Am See the week we stayed. However, they provided a fan which made nights cooler. We stayed for 5 nights and the value for its worth is good! Getting there: we got there by car and driving from Salzburg to the hotel was good. The views were all picturesque so over an hour of driving for didnt feel that long at all. I would highly recommend Hotel Seehof! We would love to come back!

Great welcome and ideas of what to do during our stay. Loved the view from our room. Can't remember the lady who is behind the desk in the morning but she and Evelyn are a real asset to your team as well as the manager who came up personally to help fix our TV which had no sound. The Summer Card was fantastic. Saved us a lot of money and encouraged us to do as much as we could. Breakfast was great and real value for money.

Not a big fan of the pillows and had to keep the windows shut to stop the train noise. Thank you for the ventilator and the earplugs though.

Beautiful room, beautiful views and the loveliest people. I stayed 3 nights and will be back. The hotel is in the perfect location - overlooking the lake and a very short walk from the train station. Whilst the train line runs along the lakefront with the exception of a good train a couple of times a day I wasn’t disturbed by the noise - I actually liked sitting and watching the trains go by in addition to enjoying watching life on the lake. The hotel also provides a Summer Card which was brilliant - free local public transport, free boat trip round the lake and free lifts to the top of nearby mountains - such a bonus to have. Thank you Hotel Seehof for the loveliest few days.

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in the beginning of May. The staff were all so very nice and helpful in provided ideas on what to do and what NOT to do. We stayed during off season, so not everything was open. We easily walked to restaurants and shops. We stayed in the double room overlooking the lake. The room was super comfortable with a pretty view of the lake. We hardly even heard the trains, and thought it was pretty cool to see them - something not seen in the states. The breakfast was delicious with so many options! We only left early because the weather was not supposed to be great in the coming days. We would highly recommend Hotel Seehof!

We cannot think of any cons other than the parking lot was a little tough to get out of. Can't complain too much, it was free!

It was in the centre of the town, a small & cozy, neat property met my expectations. Staff in the property were friendly & helpful, which also mattered a lot.

Though the breakfast spread was excellent, considering the taste I am expecting, had it been there it would have worked wonders & I could have said more to my friends about the places I recommend.
