Room was lovely. So clean and had what you needed. We had a little balcony which was directly above the high street and you could see the mountains and the lake! Breakfast was great, heaps of options and all lovely and fresh. Lots of breads and cheeses to chose from, scrambled eggs, yoghurt, grapes and lots more. One of the benefits to this hotel is the partnership with the Romantik, just across a walkway. The Romantik is amazing, the building itself is stunning and traditional. The staff there were wonderful, so friendly! As a guest at the fish inn, you’re able to use their facilities so we used their spa, restaurant and we had drinks there every night. The drink prices are so cheap compared to the UK! The spa is so beautiful, lots of chairs, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and a lovely pool. It was very peaceful and exactly what we needed after a long couple of hikes. Both hotels are directly in the heart of everything that’s going on, right by all the shops and restaurants and very close to the lake. One massive benefit to going to Zell am See is the summer card. Wow, that saved us 100’s of euros during the 4 days we were there, made great use of it and was very thankful we had it.

Not much really. Personal preference would have been to have another pillow on the bed!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The room was modern, spotless, and the beds were very comfortable, with a bunk bed that was perfect for the kids. Breakfast, which we had at the adjoining Romantic Hotel, was superb. The view from our balcony - looking out over the walking street and mountains — was stunning. The hotel location is very convenient, just a short walk to the ski lift and the ski bus stop, which made it easy to reach other ski lifts or Kaprun. The staff were friendly and attentive, always happy to help with anything we needed.

The only downsides were that the room was a bit too warm even with the heating at minimum, and the street noise at night was quite loud due to nearby bars and echo from the narrow streets. It disrupted our sleep a bit. Next time, we’d choose a room facing the inner yard for a quieter experience.

Breakfast was excellent. The location is RIGHT in the heart of Zell Am See in the main pedestrianised street, with restaurants all around, but is not noisy. Zell is very compact and leisurely and relaxed. The room was large, the bathroom and separate toilet spotless and smart. The hotel had just had a rebrand/makeover and so the breakfast room felt very fresh and contemporary.

Just be aware that a balcony (or ours, at least) was not one you could sit out on - it is just large enough to stand on. Note, too, that when we were there at least you arrived at reception to find no-one there and a note to check in at a hotel around the corner. Neither of these were big issues!

Hotel was very nice, clean, modern and exceeded our expectations 😍 Room was also very clean, soft mattress. We had a swing in our bedroom which was very nice. Then a kettle for tea 😍 The location was in the very best city centre near lake. Like 2 minutes. We tried Deins&Meins restaurant. I very much recommend the steak with vegetables and pfeffer sauce. Never had anything taste so heavenly! Also try restaurant for best tasting pork ribs called YoRIBS. 🤩🤩 Definitely be coming back ☺️🫶🏼

Nice hotel in the heart of the tourist area. The room was nice and big and the facilities were good. Parking available close by. The hotel was amongst many restaurants, close to the ferries and other transport options.

The area was a bit busy late at night

1) Great location. 2) Self check-in machines. We had a few questions so went to the (sister and adjoining) Romantic hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Much appreciated. 3) Room a good size with a fridge. 4) Parking easy thanks to help from the staff. 5) Breakfast was okay, no better. Quality of bread worse than other hotels.

1) Breakfast - see above. 2) Value for money - average, but limited stock of accommodation downtown. So, hotels can charge higher prices. There are cheaper options in other places around the lake. But, location is important

Great location in centre of town with access to ski lifts, bars and restaurants. Very modern rooms. No bar area to speak of but access to sister hotel through corridors (do not need to go outside) which has a great bar with log fire and restaurant. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to cleaning staff. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is typically Austrian and located on a main street in the town centre. Car parking is provided a short walk away. The envitonment was clean and tidy and the bedroom was a good size, comfortable and clean. I must pay a particular tribute to the lady who ran the breakfast room. I did not get her name but she, apparently, used to own the hotel.At first glance she appeared a but stern, but in reality she was fantastic. When we observed that there were a lot of very noizy middle eastern children running around our table she re-located us to a quiet area of the breakfast room and took great care of us during our stay

The hotel was fantastic, some of the guests however were overly rowdy and demanding

Lovely comfortable spacious and clean family room in a great location. Room was cleaned to a high standard every day. Access to the Summer Card was a great added bonus.

Coffee making facilities could be improved. We had no coffee or milk sachets in the room. There was a tea bag packet that had been previously opened in the little glass jar.

Breakfast great. Mainly continental with some hor options (eggs, bacon, sausages).

Electronic check in didn’t work so had to go to Hotel Romantik to check in and for all face to face interactions. Told we couldn’t use the spa there however.
