Location was beautiful, will recommend everyone to stay there, we will for sure come back! The cabin was just amazing, cool and clean. The staff was super helpful. We ordered one of the Wagyu packages and it was delicious (and i don’t even like meat). I wish we had something like this in our country.
They asked us upfront if we would like it if they would heat up the hottub for us, but it was extremely hot when we arrived. We shut down the fire but we couldnt access it until the next morning. That was a bit of a shame. But in the morning we had our coffees there, so it was just fantastic after all.

The lodge was an amazing stay, it had all the necessary comforts and more, it was peaceful, such a relaxed setting in nature! Lodge accommodation was modern, clean and in really great condition. The food at the restaurant was amazing and the tasting experience was superb. Really great wines on the menu. Hospitality of hosts and staff were incredible. They ensured our stay was memorable, organizing spa treatments at our lodge, bubbles on arrival, braai box and breakfast delivery to our lodge to enjoy.

We loved the peacefulness of the environment. The hot tub was amazing. We enjoyed the braai box which we ordered which was a generous amount of food. The host and staff were friendly and attentive bringing wood when we needed it for the hot tub. The accommodation had top furnishings and many home comforts. Attention to detail in the small things were noticed and appreciated. Could not ask for a more luxurious and comfortable stay. The Wagyu Experience Restaurant on the property was exceptional. The whiskey and steak tasting a must!
Nothing, it went beyond our expectations

Great location! Modern facilities and everything you need. Hot tub is easy to use. The tent over the apartment keeps it nice and cool despite the heat of Paarl. Super comfy bed, aircon works well. Inverter for loadshedding. Super peaceful. We had a few issues with noise from the tent but the staff fixed it for us as soon as we communicated with them. We had the braai box and the steak was amazing, and I don’t even like steak! such great value for money. Easy check in if you read the instructions. Good communication.
Such small things, I feel like if they trimmed the trees a little the view would be absolutely amazing. There were a lot of crickets in the room which we had to capture and release cause they are noisy 😂 but you’re out in nature so like what are you actually going to do about bugs? Just a heads up. There’s also a very modern looking panic button next to the bed that we thought was a light switch, so careful of that cause we set the very loud alarm off. Also make sure you bring your own ice, olive oil and any other condiments etc that you may need. Fridge is quite small so plan accordingly.

Everything, Wow- a must stay for a couple while in Cape Town. About an hour drive from centre of Cape Town and you are in the mountains. The lodge has everything you need well done accommodation, feels like camping but not and all the luxuries of a hotel stay, quiet, secluded, views and the Wagyu meat products are awesome. We also did the Whiskey pairing, only thing is don’t plan on driving afterwards, but also amazing. This is one stay we shall be returning too.
Nothing, will be back

The perfect start to our time in South Africa. We had a super welcome when we arrived, we ate in the restaurant, wagyu open sandwich and a wagyu burger, delicious. We also had the 300g steak,.on another occasion, amazing. The staff were all friendly and happy to help in all matters when asked. The secluded lodge is away from it all, I'd recommend a hire car, although definitely an Uber to get to and from the Franschhoek Wine Tram, which is a great day out.
Our attempts at lighting the wood stove for the hot tub, using the firelighters which like the wood had been provided made it easier!

The location, staff, aesthetic of the place, and cleanliness were all absolutely brilliant. The restaurant is a MUST DO if you a meat eater. Definitely go with the rib eye its unreal. We didn't get to mission around the farm a lot but its super peaceful, quite and well looked after. The room is magic, we will come back to this spot and I think we'd just hang around there instead of venturing around the surrounding area its so peaceful and well-equipped.
It was more the country's fault than anything BUT with the power cuts not having aircon in the room was super uncomfortable with the heat, you open the windows and mosquitos attack you so that was the only blemish, tough one to mark the venue down on because to have that running off grid isn't easily achieved but if you staying there in summer you have to note it. Perhaps some sort of fan that isn't reliant on the grid could be a solve.

The location, the peace and the hot tub. The decor was lovely and set up with pretty much everything you would need. Perfect for a remote get-away.
The restaurant was shut for refurbishments which we didn’t know about until the day before arrival. This meant that we couldn’t access ice and that there was less wood than promised on the property info. Staff were around for daytime hours. It not after 4.30. However when we did have an issue, staff were quick to respond. It also meant that we could access the restaurant during our stay.

What a stunning location! On the mountain above the farm, they have 2 secluded cottages. They are modern and very beautiful with a bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful bathroom. There is a nice terrace, a braai area, and a hot tub with a spectacular view. It is hot upon arrival.
We booked the day before and received a mail which said you can order a braai box and wine. We therefore did not bring anything. But when we called to order they said you had to order food a day in advance, and they did not have a liquor license so could not offer wine. For breakfast or dinner you have to go 1km downhill to the restaurant. Our suggestion: book this place anyway because it is stunning, but come well equipped with food and drinks.

Super nice cottage, great design and very cozy with a perfect view and location to be alone or watch the rabbits outside. The meat was very delicious!
The breakfast in the restaurant is a little boring and not very much - disappointing compared to other breakfasts we had in the hotels. The restaurant generally is a bit dark and the food selection does not really fit the design of the cottages - it is all very heavy meals, not a lot of healthy options. Also the Braai basket was a rather heavy collection of chips with a tiny salad.
