We stayed here while my partner was attending a conference in Assisi, and I wanted to be somewhere with a pool and garden to enjoy. The pool is really lovely, and I mostly had it to myself. The grounds are also very beautiful and quiet, with great views down to the plain and up to Monte Subasio and San Francesco basilica. Mostly all you can hear is birdsong. The room was very pleasant, with dual aspect over the gardens, and a bathtub as well as shower - a bonus for us. It is quite a steep walk up to the historic centre, some of it along a minor road (with no pavement) through pretty olive groves till you reach the main road. We were OK doing that, but others might want to get a taxi. That would probably be easier than driving up, given how difficult it can be to park up at Assisi in high season.

The location was great and walking distance to Assisi. The pool and gardens were beautiful and was the main reason I scored this stay highly. The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good although quite basic, and the staff was friendly.

They should definitely invest in newer/more comfortable pool loungers and also mini fridges in the room, so guests can store drinks/food in their room. There was a bit of mould in the shower. There was no service in the room so you had to go to the common areas to access the internet.

Large beautiful traditional stone house with a panoramic terrace for breakfast and a fantastic swimming pool (the biggest of our entire trip) and views, at a 15 minute walk from Assisi old city. Amazing. Friendly staff.

No wifi in the rooms. Guests in despair of connection had to occupy common spaces, by cold weather, to get some connection. Average breakfast, coffee and food. the look of furniture in the rooms is very basic, compared to the nice ancient style of the house and common parts.

In every respect the stay exceeded expectations. This is our 9th stay in Assisi in 25 years. The location, space and especially the cleanliness of the rooms (we occupied 2 double rooms in a building adjacent to the swimming pool) were above expectations. We will definitely, undoubtedly, come back next year.

The location is perfect for walking to most of the sacred sites of Assisi (if you are reasonably fit) and enjoying the excellent restaurants, cafes & gelatarias. The house is elegantly furnished in country house style and very comfortable. The grounds, garden, swimming pool and extensive views are beautiful .... but most of all, what made our stay so exceptional was the kind friendliness and efficiency of all the staff, but most particularly of Anna, the manager and hostess with the mostest! Nothing was too much trouble - from answering emails promptly, to arranging a hire car for us, producing delicious light lunches and always being ready for a friendly chat. She is a star. Thank you Anna and all your lovely team for making our stay so memorable.

The plug sockets in our room were vintage and you need to ask reception for a special adaptor, but for English appliances this means 2 adaptors which can be problematic.

Beautiful property in a stunning location. Very clean and tidy. Walking distance uphill to Assisi. Sara was an absolute star and an amazing host, thank you! We will most certainly be back.

The view was amazing. I felt like I was at a world class resort when I sat by the pool. The staff was very kind and helpful to a tourist who speaks no Italian. They called me a taxi whenever I needed.

The booking listing advertised a gluten free breakfast but this only meant a couple of prepackaged gluten free snacks which was disappointing. Additionally, the towels are very thin. Also, they don’t offer any pool towels and I didn’t expect to need to bring my own. Othwrwise, everything was good.

The location was wonderful, with a good breakfast including hard boiled eggs, a beautiful large pool, lots of olive trees, wonderful hill views, lovely staff, and in walking distance to the center. You can also order lunch and dinner plus wines at the hotel.

Location excellent, staff friendly, ample parking, good breakfast, useful facility for light meal at lunch or dinner time.

Wi-fi did not reach the rooms, only the common areas (although in fairness it did reach our outside seating area).

This is a beautiful, well maintained property and has a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like you're staying with friends. It is a very convenient location with only a 10minute walk to the old town and the pool was a welcome relief after a day of exploring in the heat

The addition of a mini fridge in each room would be the only improvement I can think of as the summer days do get hot and it's good to have chilled water on hand.
