We loved everything about this trip . The Hotel is Amazing . Staff are excellent . It is so Family orientated. Offering great support to young Families. Woddies Club from 5 until 8 for Children to allow Mums and Dads some time together is an excellent idea . Outside dining with heated wooden cabins was great. Pet farm and playground for the active Toddlers. The rooms are very well presented with lots of space for families . We will most definitely be back 💯

The only negative I can find would be their system for reservations. Communication and confirmation of same was poor when we as a family wanted to extend our stay but to be fair to them we gt sorted in the end . Communication is first point of contact and could be improved . .

Facilities were brilliant, staff were exceptional. Connor managed to get us checked in early which we were so grateful for as we arrive at 9am so didn’t have to wait until 4pm. Greatly appreciated. Although we were an adult group, the facilities for children were excellent and we would come back with our child.

Difficult getting taxi’s but managed to get a card off of a driver and then was sorted for the rest of the weekends. Breakfast wasn’t that hot on the buffet.

Super kids facilities, my daughter loved the walk and fairy garden and pet farm. What was exceptional was just by mentioning on the booking it my mother's birthday, there was a set of balloons and a plate of desserts saying "happy birthday", so nicely done.... we appreciated it hugely...

The only one small, and it's a very small comment only, not a "what didn't you like".... the menu for lunch in timmy mac's didn't include sandwich option (but I do understand on the weekends the tree house is open which probably includes this). Great stay.

Breakfast was lovely.

The duvet on the bed was far too heavy. I eventually found the blanket in the wardrobe which I used instead but was then too cold as it was a very cold night in January. It would be really excellent if you could provide a lighter weight duvet and then the blanket as an additional layer if people were cold. Feather n Down doesn't suit everyone either as some people (like me) suffer from allergies. Also, the plug in the jacuzzi bath in the bathroom was broken so I couldn't avail of that luxury but everything else was wonderful. Thanks

The hotel was beautifully decorated and clean, all staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel including the leisure centre. All the kids activities including the outdoor amenities and kids club and leisure centre were great with wonderful friendly staff.

The price of the accommodation was high however it was well worth the money.

Fabulous location - traditional family hotel & values entwined with modern touches - Room lovely - room was spotless every morning- credit to the domestic team - Revas Spa - best Ever spa experience. We have stayed here before - never disappoints - renovations tasteful & in harmony with the ethos of this hotel.

Breakfast was OK asked for Pancakes with strawberry to be told they had no strawberry. Ended up with a slice of lemon.

Could not find kettle or tea and coffee in the room we like to have a cup of tea first thing in the morning that was disappointing also couldn't get the shower to work .

Large room, good breakfast, wonderful spa facilities. Staff were so attentive and pleasant. Genuinely could not ask anything more. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and spa is just heaven on earth, definitely recommend spa for a group of friends.

No casual dining, we didn't fancy fussy evening meal and bistro was closed to private party, no prior notice given. Had to eat outside in tree house! Beds are too soft but room was nice. Stay was quite expensive for off peak season. Breakfast table was the smallest table I have ever seen.

The woodlands is one of my favourite hotels. It caters for absolutely everyone. I loved the fire pits on the driveway in, it added a touch of class to the entrance. The petting farm is fabulous for the kids. The hotel itself is so warm and cosy with stunning decorations. Our room was amazing, so spacious and designed beautifully. The staff couldn’t do enough. Our meal was delicious. We absolutely loved the outdoor area, cabins with the stoves, Pizza , burger, coffee and icecream huts and finally the sports bar. Everything amazing.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Stayed here as alternative for a wedding at Adare Manor and was very impressed! A lot cheaper, nice, big comfortable rooms with v good breakfast and only a stones throw from Adare. Would highly recommend if staying in the area and don't want to splash out on Adare!

The lack of availability of water was frustrating. Bottles in the vending machine but once they've gone it felt difficult to get water, especially at night
