The staff (owner) was very friendly and helpful. The view from the motel's main building was incredible. The breakfast (additional fee) was delicious. The location was very convenient for Camden and Camden Hills State park.

While the motel has been updated, the bathroom was very small and the shower curtain was hung too high, so water dripped on the floor. For such a small room, it would be better to have one king bed instead of two doubles. Not sure there is anything to do about the size of bathroom. It was adequate for one night but would not have been conducive to a multi-night stay.

We loved the vintage motel vibe and overall experience. The room was very clean and comfortable and furnished with everything we needed. Holly at the front desk was pleasant and helpful and Mark, the manager, went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience at this motel. He is also the breakfast cook and made the most delicious popovers and muffins. We enjoyed conversation with Mark each morning and appreciated that he welcomed us by name. High Tide Inn on the Ocean, Motel & Cottages is a wonderful property by the sea with many different accommodation choices in a great location…we highly recommend it!

Great location, close to Camden and next to ocean. One of the best fresh baked pastries we had, it was delicious muffins and turnovers. Very nice people, would love to go back some time!

Our bathroom needed more attention, towel holders kept falling off, but otherwise good room. Also parking is a little strange, I think if they had lines drawn on the parking lot, would help a lot, we kept getting blocked from parking our car when they had full rooms.

If you are looking for a friendly, comfortable, down-to-earth place to stay on the coast, this is a good choice. Conveniently located just north of Camden, with a little more than an hour's drive to Acadia. This property includes a charming estate house/inn overlooking a lovely view of coastal islands; there are also modest cabins and more modern motel-style lodgings. Innkeepers are very friendly; breakfast is served on the enclosed veranda overlooking an outstanding view; blueberry muffins are delicious! A comfortable indoor sitting room and outdoor seating around both a traditional and a gas-fired campfire overlook a wide lawn/meadow sloping down to the water. Yard games are available. Sunrises are beautiful!!

Innkeepers are new, doing their best to provide exceptional customer service. Some of the furniture is dated and landscaping needs attention.

What a beautiful setting for a stay on the mid coast of Maine! We stayed here 24 years ago when it was under different management. It was quaint and rustic at that time. Now the new management has added nice upgrades like quality mattresses and bedding. You can’t beat the amazing viewingf the ocean and islands while lying in bed. We enjoyed a glass of wine sitting by the fire pit which also had a gorgeous view. It’s just minutes from the charming village of Camden. We will definitely put this on our preferred places to stay list! Oh, and we brought the pupster, so extra points for being pet friendly!

Loved the view and surprised how close to the water. Mark served an amazing breakfast w fresh boiled eggs and yummy blueberry buscuits and popovers we relished! Trish gave us great tips on what to see and mapped an itinerary better than a tourist center. We enjoyed fireplace in common room and watching football w Mark and just reading one evening.

We enjoyed the older ambience as I told my husband it brought me back to travel in younger days and good memories of life in uncomplicated times and natural beauty,, simple joys of nature surround Tides Inn. No fluff.

Very spacious and modern room. The view is unarguably the best, we will definitely come back for that. Holly was very nice and accommodating our needs. Location is sweeet, right off the main road but very quite, and that’s being said, super close to downtown. We loved this place so much!!! We will definitely be back!

I like the location but the rocks should be cleared off the beach. I like the host who was nice and accommodating. I didn't like the front building locked after 9 pm. It should just be opened for guests to use wi fi, especially when some rooms don't have Wi fi. Laundry facilities, microwave, and fridge should all be available to your guests.

The beds were nice and comfortable. The showers and bathrooms are pretty small. The breakfast is the same every morning. There should be eggs, toasts, and omelets too. You should try to keep families together in the same building when reservations are being made. I can't understand why a small business like yours give out better deals to Priceline and not go directly to customers over the internet.

Staff was very personable and friendly. The beachfront units are completely updated and modern and so comfortable. The bed was firm, new and perfect! Breakfast had homemade items and was delicious. Just a few minutes from Camden State Park and Camden. I highly recommend this spot!
