We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel 22 Marzo. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, offering a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, contributing to a peaceful experience. Additionally, the location was incredibly convenient, being very close to the city center, which made exploring the area so much easier. Could be improved is the soundproofing of the rooms, as it was not as effective as expected. While this didn’t greatly impact our stay, better sound insulation would certainly enhance the overall experience. Overall, we had a wonderful time and appreciate the hotel’s efforts to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay.
soundproofing could improve.

My stay at 22 Marzo was one of the best aspects of my trip. The facility is newly refurbished with actually working air conditioning in the rooms, and the location is just perfect. Above all, the staff was the best part of this hotel. Elton is a great caretaker and problem solver; he helped me with everything, from sending a postcard to nearby store advises or even reporting a stolen item of mine during my time in Duomo. Location is also accessible with public transportation even you can walk from the city center easily. It was located in a safe neighborhood with lots of local restaurants and shops around. Also complimentary espresso and water being available at anytime was a very nice detail.

This is a total gem in a very central location! Everything was great - from the free coffee machines and still/sparkling water in the common area to the very attentive and helpful staff! My daughter arrived a couple of days ahead of me and the hotel staff took her under their wing and supported exceptionally well. The hotel is within a walking distance from the Duomo and key attractions; plenty of choices around for food and drink. Next time I am in Milan, I would not hesitate to book another stay at Hotel 22 Marzo.
*Not the hotel's fault* - but be prepared to pay top dollar for parking; the whole of city centre is this way...

I stayed here when I arrived into Milan, easy check in process- staff showed me to my room as was in the next building, room/ bed was far larger than I was expecting, it was very clean, modern facilites, lovely staff, daily room makeup which was nice. Staff offered information on the busses and trams a cross the road which made the process of getting into the city centre very easy. Reception was unattended when I wanted to check out early morning, but too easy to do so on my own.
A few more instructions on the room, specifically on all the buttons etc on the control panel

Everything was clean, I liked the staff, I liked coffee and water machine service, shampoo, shower gel and room slippers were good quality, reception staff were very helpful. I had a problem with AC and they fixed it very quickly and kindly. Special thanks to Elton about it.
Instead of putting a duvet cover on the duvet, sheets are placed on both sides of the duvet. Considering that the sheets slide and the duvet itself is not something washed every time, I think it is not very hygienic to change the set like that. I am writing this as a constructive comment with the aim of changing it. Also, I think, cleaning staff should not give towels and sheets with the same hands they change the garbage with. They should use gloves when they handle the garbage.

Our stay at your hotel in Milan was, without a doubt, the best hotel experience we had during our entire trip to Italy. We simply can't recommend it enough for anyone visiting Milan. First off, the location is incredibly convenient. We were able to take the Route 60 bus directly from the train station, and it dropped us off right at the hotel's doorstep. This made our arrival and subsequent explorations of the city so much easier. What truly set this hotel apart was the outstanding staff. We'd like to extend a special thank you to Elton at the front desk. He went above and beyond by helping us check in an hour early, which was a huge convenience for our travel plans. He also inquired about our preferences and ended up replacing a big bed with two separate beds. He even personally escorted us to our room and insisted on helping with our luggage – a gesture we truly appreciated. Communication with the staff was consistently smooth and pleasant throughout our stay. Finally, the room itself was absolutely perfect. It felt brand new, was spotlessly clean, and impeccably tidy, with no unpleasant odors whatsoever. The bed and pillows were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
Very happy with everything, nothing to dislike!

Excellent location close to the centre, in a nice part of the city about 20 minutes walk to the Duomo, and right next to trams to the centre. Also a few minutes walk from metro line 4, which is especially convenient if you’re travelling to or from Linate airport, just a few minutes on the metro. No breakfast but excellent free coffee from the machine in reception, and there’s plenty of cafes close by for breakfast. Good value by Milan standards considering the quality and location.
There’s a bar open till late in the same building, so some noise, but it’s not really a problem. We were in a room with a window right above the bar, and slept ok.

We were pleased to stay here during our 2-night trip to Milan. Although it may seem far from the main sightseeing spots, we were able to reach everywhere in less than 10 minutes thanks to the public transport stop right in front of the hotel. With the 3-day unlimited Milan travel pass, our experience in the city was completely smooth and hassle-free. The room was spotless, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and having unlimited water and coffee available 24/7 was a great bonus. We wouldn’t hesitate to choose this place again for our next visit.

Simply furnished hotel where you have everything you need for comfort and everything is clean. Very nice staff throughout our stay, at the reception you have the opportunity to make excellent coffee or chocolate at any time. The location of the hotel is also excellent - a minute's walk to the tram, 10 minutes to the metro, 30 minutes to the Cathedral. As a bonus, there is a cafe directly under the hotel with excellent breakfasts, several nice restaurants on the block.
Paper walls where you can literally hear everything. There is a bar under the windows of some rooms and there may be noise.

It was a great stay! Customer service is undoubtedly the hallmark of this hotel. Elton exemplifies outstanding hospitality—attentive, polite, and genuinely concerned about guests' needs. A unique feature of the hotel's communal area is the provision of three taps offering drinking water—sparkling, cold, and room temperature—as well as two coffee machines, all available for free. The room is simple; however, it could benefit from the addition of an extra chair and some drawers for better storage. The shower delivers decent water pressure, the mattress is excellent, and the bed linen is comfortable. The hotel's location is also a major advantage, offering direct routes to Linate Airport and central areas of Milan. Overall, this is a very good choice for short stays in Milan.
The window locking mechanism in our room was slightly misaligned and could not secure the window in a closed position, but this did not significantly affect the soundproofing.
