I booked this Bed and Breakfast to stay the weekend while running my first marathon in Niagara. The property is simply gorgeous inside and out with beautiful gardens and landscaping accessible for guests and a cozy and clean atmosphere inside the home. I stayed upstairs in a lovely suite with lots of space for me to rest and feel comfortable before and after my race. Parking and accommodations were easy and the host made it feel like a home. Thank you for everything!

Hosts were cordial and friendly, but not overbearing. They gave guidance on where to park, places to go, and local products. The breakfasts were delicious and enough to hold us over to dinner. Started with fresh fruit, yogurt and homemade granola, OJ, and different fresh baked goods every morning (croissants, blueberry muffins, scones) with local jams. Followed up with hot food - omelet, scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, smoked salmon, potato pancakes - something different every day. Open to accommodating food allergies or preferences. Quiet neighborhood and off street parking. Very clean, comfortable room.

Some guests might be put off that you are in the owners' home and share living spaces (entry, yard, sitting room) with them. We enjoyed their company, and had ample privacy and space to relax in our room with ensuite bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Gables bed and breakfast! The host Diane was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Each breakfast was a delight and our room exuded a cozy elegance with a large bathroom and a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. Every aspect of our visit was thoughtfully curated to enhance our experience, making it truly exceptional. We highly recommend Cedar Gables bed & Breakfast for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in Niagara-on-the-lake.

The breakfast was completely different every day, and each day it was superb. The food was healthy, interesting, generous, fresh, homemade and beautifully presented. We've never had better. Our hostess was friendly and very helpful. She was both relaxed and attentive...a good combination!

Blackout blinds or curtains would be a welcome addition to our otherwise lovely and spacious room.

This was my first stay in a B & B and it felt like staying in a home away from home. The hostess was very welcoming and gracious. The breakfast was amazingly delicious!!! I wish I remembered to take pictures of the tasty breakfast, but I was too busy enjoying every bite. Our room was clean and comfortable - true to the pictures:) I would not hesitate coming back:D

Thank you so much for being such wonderful hosts, Daina and Heinz who are absolutely delightful to talk to and they made our 3-night stay very special - “home away from home”! We were so spoiled with delicious home cooked breakfast very morning - cold and hot! Love the omelettes! The location is fantastic - only 15-20mins walk into the main town! And only 5-10 mins drive to so many wineries 👌🏻

Lovely breakfasts; relaxed ambience in a quiet part of town; congenial hostess with excellent knowledge of the Shaw plays. No problem with charging our pluggable hybrid car. The distance to the Festival theatres looked slightly more than ideal but wasn't an issue since we could use the ample free parking half way there on King Street.

Our hosts Daina and Heinz were wonderful. Dinah's breakfasts were delicious down to the very last bite. Every morning included jams made from the fruit grown in their garden. She also included local ham with our scrambled eggs. Her recommendations for a local farmers market, wineries, and meals were greatly appreciated. We hope to visit again.

What a wonderful experience at the beautiful city of Niagara on the Lake. The host Daina is very welcoming and the home feels like ‘home away from home’. The home is cozy, clean, and tidy. The friendly black cat Mabel is a great addition to the house. Daina was so generous to provide a breakfast that is tasty, creative, and hearty. We look forward to our next visit to this peaceful community of Niagara on the Lake. It is one of the most beautiful towns we have visited in North America.
