Fantastic stay! There was an example of the hotel close to the ideal. Perfect design, professional and friendly staff, nice area around the hotel!

We enjoyed the quality of service, the vegan food, the comfortable bed, the tranquil garden. The location is ideal to reach various hikes and activities. The spa is cosy and peaceful. We stayed in the room with the balcony and the view was beautiful. We made use of the spa and bowling alley next door. One doesn’t miss having a tv in the room as it’s nestled in nature.

We would have preferred to have a later breakfast, tea/ coffee facilities in the room. The restaurant doesn’t offer lunch/dinner every day but there are other options nearby!

Lived the room - very cozy, with a lovely alcove. All kinds of little details, like fresh cookies on arrival. Breakfast was delicious and staff is very attentive. We appreciated that the breakfast was not the standard breakfast you get at hotels - it was varied, interesting and very tasty. Lots of alternatives for vegetarians, vegans, etc. Access to the sauna at the aquapark across the street was nice - easy to go there, we enjoyed the sauna. Sound isolation of room was great, parking was free and easy. This place is the perfect getaway around Bohinj, highly recommende!

There was a strong discouragement regarding the use of phones and laptops, but the staff were visibly using them most of the time. Evening meals were excellent, but we were not advised in advanced that there was no restaurant on Mondays and Tuesdays. Local meals out were disappointing. Good location for exploring the area. Overall very friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfasts were disappointing as there was charge for fresh orange juice at breakfast, limited range of fruit and no croissants Some staff not informed enough to advise on where to go and what to do in the area.

Beautiful modern room overlooking the river with a comfy reading corner. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into designing a beautiful space both in the room and in the common areas. The 4-course dinner was delicious and the service was excellent, including some lovely recommendations of wine pairing from Slovenian varieties. It would however be nice to also have to option to order a la carte.

I did not quite get the 'digital detox' concept with no TV in the room and wi-fi available on request given the already relatively remote location of the hotel. The fact that you cannot access the hotel's spa for free with a standard room booking was disappointing. Paying EUR 45 on top just for this did not seem reasonable. You do get access to a common spa area across the road which needs some renovation and I'd avoid it altogether. Overall, I think you would get more for this price elsewhere.

I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the accommodation, the aesthetics of the room and the overall charm of the place. The food is of very high quality, including the breakfast, which js original, fresh and tasty. It includes a wide selection of delicious spreads, breads, salads, fresh smoothies, juices, fruits, granolas, yoghurt and cakes, and it also comprises egg-based dishes, e.g. eggs Benedict. The hotel is very peaceful and the staff is exceptionally caring and will do everything to meet your needs. They agreed to prepare a full vegetarian dinner for me, developing a bespoke menu for the day. I liked that I could access for free the spa facilities of the nearby aquatic centre. I would come back with pleasure!

The hotel is beautifully decorated and styled inside and out. The open areas and the rooms are very comfortable and luxurious in a very modern and understated way. The food is absolutely exceptional- breakfast and dinner were amazing- delicious, fresh, homemade and really unique. All the staff were lovely. We had a really relaxing time and loved our stay.

It would have been great to have a kettle in the room as had to keep going downstairs to ask the staff to provide me with hot water. You really need a car for the location. It is between Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj so new direct lake views or lake walks on your doorstep but nice mountains on all sides and very easy to get round with a car.

Our stay at Sunrose was superb. The hotel is stylish and the personnel very helpful. The also served a high quality breakfast and dinner. One can also find a small pool outdoors and a garden to relax if the weather is warm enough.

The hotel has a history although it seems a brand new. Only minus side of that is the lack of proper soundproofing. It's easy to hear everything that happens in a small hotel to your room. Luckily, other quests were pretty quiet during night times.

The place was absolutely amazing — very comfortable and stylish. We especially loved the cozy sitting area in our room, which was perfect for reading a book. The spa was wonderful as well: small but private (only for 8 people, but we were there alone), with a sauna and a jacuzzi. The food was delicious and featured local specialties. Breakfast was included in the price, while dinner was not, but we decided to go anyway. Although it was a bit pricey, we had a lovely time. Both the food and the wines were exceptional.

The facilities are impeccable and the staff is of an excellent quality ! They made us feel like we're really wanted there, they were most eager to help us with information and answers about pretty much everything related to the surroundings and the community. We've tried the spa and wellness (included during our stay), the restaurant, the massage area, the bowling alley and everything was perfect ! Bravo to them !
