The Garden Room was great, very nice easy walk through the gardens towards the veranda, dining place and pool. Every day you get a cold bottle of water which was appreciated. We found dinners exquisite, especially all salads were well spiced, so good! Breakfast was nice if you came early :)

If you like to sleep in, the breakfast served will be probably cold, which is pity for meals like pancakes, waffles or French toast. I came twice after 9am and get those cold. On the other hand, egg station always offer freshly made meals from eggs.

Superb in every way. The warmest of Mauritian hospitality from moment of arrival and throughtout. Porter Suresh is a longstanding and proud ambassador of the hotel. Location simply stunning. All inclusive includes quality drinks and excellent meals. Fish is the star but the menu is wide and varied and important for me locally plus sustainable sourced. Full credit to Chef Sudhir. Our 4th stay! A hotel revamp since our last has made incredible rooms even better. A wide activity programme and sunset chill music makes the Veranda the perfect place to relax and recharge. Entertainment manager Stephen checks in regularly to makes sure everyone is happy. We will be back.

We had 3 rooms 2 were close together 1 was not. I asked for 1 room to have single beds sadly this was not granted therefore my daughter had to sleep on a pull out bed on the floor - not ideal. Breakfast and evening meal were buffet style, nice and fresh however I feel there could have been some fresh meats already prepared as we had to wait sometimes 10 minutes for meat to be cooked in a Q, same at breakfast for eggs Some staff were new and not really sure what to do - have to remember also that they take a different look at life, slowly slowly!!

Buffet service was slow, not enough sun loungers around by pool, still water was chargeable with your dinner which I thought was extremely disappointing as everyone wants still water with their meal, this should be free as it was only filtered tap water but the hotel feel the need to charge for it.

Staff were fluent in both English and French, extremely friendly and welcoming. The size of the room was perfect with adequate storage for your clothes. The location was great walking distance to grand baie centre.

The bed mattress was a bit hard for my liking causing minor discomfort. There is a night club nearby which is extremely loud and can be heard in the room until 5am on a friday/Saturday night making sleep difficult at times. I also found the room charge credit limit of 10k rupees is too low, I was served with a letter asking me to settle the bill, to me personally 10k rupee is very small and found it slightly offensive to be served that letter. Obviously I had no issue settling the bill.

The gardens and beach were beautiful, it was great to be so close to the ocean. The hotel looks beautiful and the staff very friendly and attentive.

Our room smelled of sewerage and after 3 days we had to move rooms at 9.30pm. The next room was near a night club that played music incredibly loud from Wednesday to Sunday until midnight. We didn't mind too much as it was better than the smell of the previous room.

Good location within walking distance to the heart of Grand Baie. Nice new pool and lounge beds and cute little beach.

The lunch offering was below par, good breakfast and great dinner though.

I liked very much the individual houses in the colonial style: the main reason I selected this hotel, the welcoming drink after such a long trip, the garden which was taken care of daily, the decoration of our room, the various activities they had each evening, the boutique shop, the excellent massage that I enjoyed in the spa, that they gave me a room at the back and it was quite as I requested. It was so nice to lie in the evening in the chairs and listen to the sea!

the swimming pool was a bit small and overcrowded, but it didn't bother me as there are so many beaches around:)

Rishi in the restaurant was amazing and catered really well to my vegetarian needs he took me to all the stations and introduced me to the cook and said I could have anything prepared. Staff at check in were lovely and friendly. The rooms are set out really well with a separate room for luggage so it keeps a nice peaceful atmosphere in the bedroom. Plenty of sun loungers, the pool was well maintained. Balram was amazing too a great fun gentleman who really helped us a lot. The excursions offered within the cost of the stay were great fun such as the snorkel trip. Ultimately the surroundings but the staff were what really made this stay special.

The headboard was quite damaged which didn't fit with the rest of the well maintained and modern facilities. If you are looking for a real sandy Mauritius beach that's not possible here you can walk along the shore and you can find it there.

Lovely staff. Small resort which made it easy to get around. Brilliant spa! The Mauritian massage with Medha was wonderful! Reasonable price for the resort too.

The beach is quite small but the views are lovely! Also double bed was two singles put together. Door to toilet is just a slidey door. But good facilities and good sized rooms.

I chose half board, and the buffet was great. The spa was very good and i received an amazing massage. Pool is beautiful and the beach has plenty of sun loungers You can walk along the beach and visit little place near by that are lovelly
