Really cute little place. The room matched the image on their website. Staff was lovely and our room was super clean. Breakfast was decent and the ladies who served it were both very lovely indeed. For breakfast they served all sorts of things such as eggs, boiled eggs too, waffles, yogurt, tasty grits or oatmeal, bagels, mini muffins, fruit, juice, coffee/tea, sausage links or biscuits and gravy instead. There were so many restaurants across the street or near by even by walking.

The coffee can definitely be improved so starting the 2nd day I just brewed my own coffee. My husband wished that the shower had more pressure but for me it was fine.

Def could tell it had been updated. Liked the room very much especially the split AC unit, makes a lot more sense to be able to control the AC compared to the old window style and liked that there wasn’t any carpet, plenty of outlets, bathroom sinks and shower were nice (only issue, low water pressure) and in our room, looked like shower head wasn’t centered when remodeled and had to stand close to the wall. Liked the mini fridge. Overall exceptional experience and great job in renovated the property. Would have loved to have stayed to use the pool and outdoor seating and try the breakfast.

Really nothing to complain about.

We love how comfortable it was. The staff was friendly. When we were there it was cold and rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or outdoor patio area, however it looked so nice. The place was immaculate and our grandkids loved it. We loved the cookies in the evening.

The only thing I couldn’t understand was the pricing. Sunday night was just over $100 yet Saturday night would have been close to $600. Such a wide price difference and there was nothing really going on in the area we weekend we were there. For $100 the place is a steal, for $500-600 I’d been disappointed. If you can stay here for $200-$250 a night it’s a great place to stay.

Bed was comfortable room was clean and spacious. Shower was nice. Price was very good. Pool looked nice but didn’t have time to try it out. Loved2 sinks in the room

Majority of breakfast containers were empty when we arrived at 8:45. Was not 8mpressed with selection Bathroom fan was very very loud and made it not hard for one to sleep when other person gets up to go in middle of the night

It was raining so I didn’t get to enjoy the pool area but it looked nice. The property is well lit and I appreciated the quiet time rule and the excessive amount of security cameras. My room smelled clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower upgrade was awesome with the pebbled floor. The daytime front staff could be more pleasant . The beer taps were also a nice touch!

Staff

Everything here is CLEAN. The rooms, the grounds, the lobby and common areas are spic-n-span and well kept. The pool is fairly large, sparkling, and surrounded by a large area of lawn. A great advantage for families and youth sports teams. The staff are friendly and bend over backwards to resolve any issues that might arise. I'm very grateful for the way they handled my particular challenge. The rooms are a bit spartan and don't feel particularly cozy, but my bed was very comfy and I assume they all are. I love all the equine related murals throughout the facility. I love finding gems like this older motel, lovingly and creatively restored and well managed. This hotel is in a convenient location, within an easy 8-10 minutes drive to the Florida Aquatic (FAST) swim complex. Lots of restaurants and retail stores close by. I typically avoid hotels that have outer entrances to rooms, but made an exception here. I felt quite safe during my stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Oh...and upon check-in, they remind guests know that quiet hours begin at 10 pm. Well done!

The breakfast fare was disappointing. I'd read previous reviews describing much better options than were available during my visit. But I've noticed this to be the case with most hotel breakfasts, likely due to higher food costs and food prep staff shortages. So a mediocre breakfast isn't a deal breaker for me. This app is assigning a sad face to this part of the review, but if I could change it, it would just be neutral 😐.

I really enjoyed my stay if available I would book again. If there was a need for a girls night out this would be the place. A placed tucked away in Ocala right off 200! Who would have thought..the cleanliness you could smell when you walk into the room. Th continental breakfast inclusion...3 thumbs up!!! Can qait to visit during the summer. I am not orginally from Flirida ,so lots of frirnds and family could visit.And the Equus

We've stayed here multiple times. Staff is always wonderful, rooms are very nice, beds are comfortable, amenities are nice, breakfast was free. Our experience each time has been far beyond expectations. Also, my wife accidentally left her earbuds in the workout room and they were missing when she came back. She went to the front desk and after accurately describing them and where they were left, they were given back to her. Someone had been nice enough to bring them up front. Nice to know we're staying at a place with such kind people.

Breakfast was pretty good, but on par with other free hotel breakfasts. It's not really a complaint, but it was the only part of the trip that wasn't above and beyond expectation. I would welcome improvement on this, but we're happy to come back regardless. Also, there was plenty of food, and we never saw an empty container. Staff were on top of it 100%.

Our large room was very clean and spacious. It had a small refrigerator microwave and safe. The staff we're very nice and extremely competent. Breakfast was a nice bonus. There is a swimming pool and a self-serve bar for those who wish to get a beverage in the evening. Free parking as well. Downtown Ocala is less than four miles away.

The only chair in the room was the chair at the desk.

Delightful staff, very attentive, pet friendly. Location is in great spot, and plenty to do. Fresh omelet bar for breakfast was delicious! (not sure if omelet bar is a weekday event). House keeping was very kind and attentive as well. Towels and bedding great quality. Lobby has cookies in the evenings and I believe I saw beers on tap as well.

I wish there was more seating in the room (only one chair). The walls in the bathroom could use a good washing. And breakfast bar during weekend was OK, not sure if omelet bar is during weekday? Fruit bowl looked sad, maybe offer fresh cut up fruit for breakfast and higher quality hot items.
