The Hotel is really nice, in a good position, 5 minutes walks to the most central area. The room corresponds to pictures and description and I find it confortable (we were 2 adults and our 15yrs old son) and super clean with a lovely terrace. I was also surprised for the cleaning service although we stayed only 2 nights. Delicious buffet breakfast, good quality and nice atmosphere. It's an important plus the parking, very easy, in front of the hotel.

Nothing to complain

The service was excellent. The person assisting us during our check-in was very efficient and understood our reason for the delay and quickly completed the procedure. All the staffs we interacted with at the hotel were very courteous and helpful. We forgot to adjust our clocks for day light savings and almost missed our breakfast, but the host kindly reminded us and waited till we finished our breakfast. I can only recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again.

Location is perfect, walking distance to all the restaurants in the town centre. Breakfast is fine. The ground floor room is spacious and comfortable and has floor-heating. Our dog was welcome in the room. Large walk-in shower room. The room and bathroom are very clean. The owners and personnel are very friendly. Drinks can be taken from a self service fridge and written down.

In summer time a small fridge in the room would add to the comfort.

Room was quite spacious and was compartimented so that the sleeping area was separate from the main entrance and bathroom area. Easy access to the inner garden. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quite unique with its wooden structure. The side walls of the sleeping quarters were made of piled logs.

No door or curtain for shower, a bit unsuitable if you are not booking as a couple. :)

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The rooms had an upgrade not too long agoo and are WAY better than the current booking.com pictures suggest. We booked the family room which turned out to be the suite just outside the hotel (on the same grounds, just not connected) which was totally awesome! Big and freshly renovated/built. Exceptional. Would totally come back here again and also recommend to others! The location is also great and Oberammergau is a very nice little town with loads of character and enough to do.

The mattresses weren’t great (too soft). But this is just nitpicking.

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The owners were very friendly, kind, and of great help. Very high standard for service and help. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and cosy. Good beds and very nice bathrooms. We were happy with all.

Hmmmmm nothing major we think...not enough to be mentioned.

Everything about Das Posch is wonderful--beautiful surroundings, super-clean facilities, modern amenities mixed with traditional charm and decor, extremely friendly and professional staff, comfortable beds, and amazing owners. I've traveled extensively, and this is hands-down the best hotel I've stayed at in all of Germany! Definitely hope to return to visit soon.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The view from our room was pleasant. The location was in a cute town surrounded by a stream and mountains. Parking was free in the gravel lot close to the hotel.

The furniture is a little dated.

The situation and staff were perfect. The small pooll was great fun for us all to cool off at the end of a hot busy day. .

On our room description when booking it said there was a kitchen in the family suite. But there was no kitchen or cooking/dining facilities. But we managed okay.

this was a beautiful facility at the very foot of a mountain. the views were lovely. The facility and staff were great! the room was clean and attractive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and hospitable. This is a great hotel.

the only difficulty we had was since we were riding by train and carrying our luggage, the location wasn’t easy. It is great if you are in a car! the hotel is tucked back a little outside the main town and walking back to it from the bus stop had a section of gravel road that was difficult to navigate with rolling luggage. that little bit of inconvenience was certainly balanced by a beautiful location facility, and staff.
