The staff were all so fantastic. Reception staff and checking in was easy. The staff in the restaurant in the morning were lovely and pleasant. Nothing was any trouble. Lots of parking (free)available. The room was very spacious for 4 people. Beds were super comfy ! The buffet breakfast was great. Lots of choices. There was even a free guest laundry on the ground floor with a drier which was great as we had completed a few hikes. Bar and menu looked nice and reasonable although we didn't get a chance to try it out. Very central location for town but also as. A base to explore the surrounding area.

Super customer service! Amazing customer service! Complete opposite to our last stay. Very impressed!! Room location was great - ground floor. (Perfect for us.) The room was the usual - spotlessly clean. Great value for money.

It's probably a once off issue and not a regular occurrence - unfortunately, the smell from the public toilets (I think there is a plumbing issue) wafted into our room overnight - not pleasant. Pillows were really uncomfortable. Used the little cushions instead - they were really comfy, just small.

Very central and close to the Rooke Street Mall and other businesses, wonderful staff, great value for money, very quiet and the food was awesome. With two options of parking makes things a lot secure especially with one carpark needing a code to get out, the lifts are a great choice as that also is good to see not anyone can come in unless you have an access keycard to your floor.

Maybe more parking especially on those busy nights... And a switch for the bathroom fan would be good instead of one that comes on on a timer..

The bed was the most comfortable I slept on in my entire two-week stay. The in-room meal was very good and promptly delivered. Buffet breakfast was average but I was glad it was included in my room price. The staff were exceptional. I had a bad neck and needed my heat pack heated up in the microwave the staff were so helpful with that.

It's a pity there's no shuttle service from the ferry for those who don't drive, as I had to take a taxi, but that's not the fault of the hotel. Buffet breakfast a little average, with only sweetened yogurts in tubs and average cereal, but it was good that it was incorporated in my room price.

Just a brief overnight stay while I was working in the area. The room including bed was very comfortable, all amenities in good condition etc. Check in/out was easy, ample parking, overall good value. I didn't try the breakfast. I would definitely stay again.

I could hear some very noisy guests shouting and banging doors etc in the hallway after midnight. Obviously not the hotel's fault, but soundproofing could be better.

Spacious room with a large bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows, wardrobe and city view. Have stayed twice before and have always found staff very pleasant.

There was no switch for the bathroom fan, which seemed to have a mind of its own! It was quite loud, even with the door closed. Then suddenly it would stop, once unfortunately mid-shower, so the mirror fogged up. The vent itself was quite dirty, as were the shower taps, despite the rest of the room being spotless.

Room was lovely, big TV, comfy bed & the bathroom was very spacious! Had dinner in the restaurant & it was one of the nicest chicken schintzels I have had in a while. Breakfast selection was very nice also & very convenient. We were also close to the mall, the Cinema & other eateries including Chinese & Italian! Added bonus was Woolworths, Coles & Kmart was a short walk away :)

Some guests were a little noisy but that's not the Hotels fault.

It was only. short drive from The Spirit of Tasmania Ferry. The reception was open, friendly and waiting to greet not only us but other travellers from the ferry in spite of the late hour. There was parking available behind and to the side of the hotel which was appreciated. The room was a good side and very clean.

From the carpark at the back of the hotel there were about 10 steps to get up in order to access the hotel. while this wouldn’t normally be a problem my travelling companion had a particularly heavy case with her that it two of us to manipulate up to the door. This wasn’t so much a problem of the hotel but rather with our packing.

The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, with a good set of amenities provided to us. The bathroom was also good and comes with a bathtub and a shower. The beds were comfortable as well.

With this trip, we paid extra to include the breakfast along with the room. However the breakfast was very disappointing. When we arrived to the breakfast area, most of the main items in the buffet were finished, and nothing was refilled. We ended up waiting and asking the waitress about it, to which she said, It's on the way. There was only one chef and it seemed like her was struggling to make each dish ready in a timely manner. The food was also quite disappointing and it seemed like it was just made in a rush.

The Reception Staff was so helpful (see below). The dining was really good including Seniors' meals at dinner time

My first room on Ground floor appeared great when I entered it but the kettle would not heat up and here was a dreadful screeching noise from the bathroom every 5 minutes. After I reported this to the Reception I was given an upgraded room on the 3rd floor. T'his was excellent.
