My partner and I were travelling around Tassie in the swag. We are Tassie locals enjoying a week off. On the day we had walked Mount Roland and decided we needed a night in accommodation with a nice bed and a shower. All as I can say is it was better than I thought it would be. The room was luxurious and the bed so beautiful. Extremely comfortable for our one night stay. The breakfast was delicious and the wife of the house lovely to chat with over the home made breakfast. Highly recommend the smashed avocado. We had dinner at the RSL which I'd highly recommend. My only comment on arrival the husband comes across a bit grumpy however it could just be his humor.
Absolutely nothing. Lovely stay.

We love Glencoe Country Bed and Breakfast so much! Irene and Russ are such lovely hosts, they shared many information around the B&B as well as recommendations for nearby restaurants/attractions. Breakfast was divine - the food was so fresh and yummy with freshly brewed coffee!!! There are a lot of farm animals on the property and we really enjoyed watching them during our leisure time :) The location of Glencoe is quite convenient, with just a few minutes' drive to Sheffield for groceries and restaurants. It is also a good base for exploring Cradle Mountain. The room itself is spacious and the bed is very comfortable, we also enjoy the shower which never runs out of hot water! Overall we had a marvelous time in Glencoe and would highly recommend everyone to stay here!
Nothing!

Great breakfast with huge home made croissant and a choice of continental breakfast, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans and more. Freshly cooked by the hosts to your wishes. Great coffee of your choice. Many animals on the farm, especially the cute little ducklings greeting us every morning. The main house is surrounded by beautifully maintained rose beds of many colours and shapes. The hosts went out of their way to provide us with local information for sightseeing while we stayed there for three nights.

Very well maintained beautiful property with a quietness and relaxed feel to it. Very comfortable quality rooms!! Love the farm and the lady who runs it especially. Very hospitable and kind. Extremely generous breakfast. I would give a seven star for this if at all there was one to rate such a magnificent meal! Most produce was from their garden. Just absolutely delicious. We even got a tour of the property. Loved how caring the hosts are of their animals and we even got to interact with a few of them, calling them by their names. Such a warm fuzzy place to unwind and get in touch with nature, not forgetting the connection one builds around these animals.
Nothing negative about this Bnb but choosing meal diners etc around here, wasn't great tbh.

Fabulous accommodation!. the breakfast was delicious and all prepared fresh with local ingredients. Our hosts also run a working farm and the highland cattle, goats, sheep and chickens were in close proximity which was delightful. Close to town for meals and a browse. We spent time at Cradle Mountain each day so lovely to return to a very comfy and large room and bed. Free wifi, which included Netflix and other streaming channels. This was a first for us in terms of hotel offerings. We will definitely be returning to Glencoe B&B !!!

Quiet, well cared for
Obvious farming lifestyle working property but need to keep mindful that guests are welcomed in and valued. Husband was rather short in responses when we arrived and we felt we were a bit of a nuisance - need to remember that that first five minutes of welcome is highly important to guests. Great facilities and well looked after otherwise.

The room was cosy and clean with lovely furnishings and added things like biscuits, plunger coffee and a variety of Teas. The owner showed us around the property, we met goats, ducks, chooks, cows... the gardens were lovely too. It was quiet yet 10 mins to Sheffield.
It's only my preference for a lower pillow, they were a bit big.

I don't normally just tick all the "excellent" boxes but this establishment deserves it. Beautiful house in a lovely setting with all facilities provided. And a really good breakfast! The murals in Sheffield were wonderful and the food at the RSL was very good value.
Could only stay one night due to our manic schedule.

High quality. Most comfortable beds and Antarctic food. Lots of extra touches. Do not book through booking.com as they will scam you and they are impossible to contact. Book directly with the bnb itself. Must safer and you get the same price.
Facilities were fantastic no complains except a warning not to book through booking.com

Beautiful building and surrounds, gardens were a delight and a view to die for. Farm animals in the surrounding paddocks and yards. Murals on sheds/walls of the farm scene. Town of Sheffield is known for its murals. Great breakfast and service. Room lacked nothing… comfortable king size bed. Quality furnishings throughout. Great wildlife, rabbits and paddy melons, resident chooks roamed the garden and special mention to Howard the cat for keeping the rabbit population down. Coming from Qld. one of the guests grew up in our home town and the owner had worked where we live.
Only negative was the small ensuite but clean and fittings were quality.
