Amazing location and very affordable family room with excellent facilities. Restaurant is great to eat at. Staff are amazing and caring

People smoking right outside the doors of rooms. Ashtrays are located right at doors of every hotel room and people smoke right at the front of the doors. Smoke was wafting into our room, through the night and morning, wasn’t nice. Maybe there needs to be consideration in creating smoke free areas for family’s who don’t want secondhand cigarette smoke in their rooms

I've made the Beachway motel a regular summer vacation destination for my children and myself. It's close to cbd, beaches, waterslide, tourist attractions, only a short drive to Gunn's Plains and the friendly staff provided a great space to just stay back, relax on a deck chair and swim in the provided pool, whilst enjoying a BBQ with the provided equipment. On-site is also a fully licensed restaurant that has tasty, wholesome meals that are reasonably priced and delicious. If you are travelling on the northwest coast of Tasmania and require a comfortable, clean, and relaxing stay, Beachway motel is the perfect choice for you and your family.

Basic motel with everything you would expect and cannot fault anything. The family room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for 5 people (we never had to ask for anything which was amazing and as a frequent traveller, this is very rare!) The staff were friendly, professional and our room was serviced daily to a high standard.

The tv connection was a bit hit and miss in the mornings.. but we didn’t mind it too much as it made us get ready a bit quicker to leave for the day. There is also a train that runs through the town and passes the motel which can very loud as the train beeps to alert cars.

Very friendly, helpful, & outstanding service from new management staff. Went out of their way to make you feel at home & very welcoming. Rooms & Facilities are extremely clean & comfortable + very affordable. Variety of meals which have all been delicious, cannot fault. I would recommend trying the pumpkin soup, it's so yummy. Overall, an enjoyable & comfortable stay.

The unit was like a little house - spacious. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed, as did the bathroom. Parking was just outside the door, so convenient. It is great that the unit provides its own washing machine and dryer. We really appreciate how clean the unit was.

One bedroom in particular was quite cold at night - a portable heater for it would be a good idea, but perhaps there was one in the cupboard? The couches were hard. More powerpoints for charging devices would be handy. Providing an airer would be a good idea.

The location is fantastic, so close to the beach, the skate park, park and water slide. We stayed in the apartment. It was spacious and had almost everything we needed. The pool was the perfect temperature and size for us to have a swim.

The pool area had no shade and only one rickety looking picnic table. We couldn't use the BBQ as it was very dirty. The pool area needs some shade cloths, umbrellas and some chairs tables or lounges. It could be great with the inclusion of some large potted palms etc. The apartment needs a new outdoor setting as the chairs were perishing from the sun and the table was stained black and blotchy with age. The deck also needs replacing with nails sticking up and boards feeling loose under foot. The apartment also needs a new couch as part of it is broken. A clothesline or clothes horse would be handy for hanging towels and bathers between swims.

The parking right outside our door was extra wide. This was a very pleasant surprise. The room could do with a bit of updating but it was clean, and all essential utilities were present. The hot water in the shower was exceptional. This has to be one of the quietest stays we have ever had. Very happy. We didn't have enough time to enjoy the large central garden, but it was just lovely.

Absolutely everything. Close to facilities of the CBD. A short walk to the beach and parks. Clean and affordable. Family friendly. The swimming pool is great and a real social hive of activity. Cleaners, reception staff and maintenance crew were all lovely, friendly and very welcoming. Our family will definitely be back and will be staying at least a week. We had a blast and could have just stayed at the hotel.

Some things, such as cutlery and plates, were at reception and not just located in the rooms. Also, the same with the pool towels, it would be great if upon arrival these things were asked if you would require them so you could collect them immediately.

Breakfast was basic but adequate. We only saw the manager who seemed to be across all days and hours and multi tasking. She's always polite and helpful and very fast to respond whenever we needed help. Amazing customer service. Rooms are clean and well maintained for the most part. We have 4 children and the family room is perfect for all of us. We all slept well.

The shower head in our room is broken. In hindsight we should've let management know but we just tied it up with a string while we were there and made do with it. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

Very comfortable bed, recently renovated bathroom absolutely spotless, walls in room appear freshly painted there was not a mark on them, tea & coffee facilities with biscuits re-filled daily, room was serviced daily with fresh towels if needed & bed re-made. Car was parked directly in front of room.
