The rooms are spaceous, especially bathrooms 😄 The rooms, bathroom and bed was clean Breakfast could be ordered every evening and was delivered to the room/terrace or pool area, whatever you prefer. Breakfast was delicious. Pool area was nice (not too big but with sunbeds) Located at the busy road but absolutely no disturbing noises because the entire area is built in the middle of the nature. One of the best things though: staff was super helpful, friendly, attentive and available everytime and every request.

The entrance was a bit hidden (tiny entrance between spa and supermarket, there is a sign at the main road though)

This hotel is an absolute dream. Although it is located in the busy area of Ubud, it is set off the main road. As soon as you step through the archway, you find yourself in paradise. The garden is incredibly beautiful, and the view from the terrace is fantastic. In the morning, you can have breakfast brought to your room while enjoying the wonderful view and listening to the birds. Don't miss out on the Nasi Goreng! It's gorgeous! My bungalow was huge and very clean. The bed was not too soft, which I really liked. The bed linens and towels were clean and smelled great. 🌸🌸🌸 You have everything you need—plenty of power outlets, adapters, toiletries, and water dispensers that are refilled as needed. If you want dinner or lunch, you just have to walk up to the main street, where you'll find a wide selection of restaurants. Alternatively, you can order food from Café Wayan and enjoy it on the terrace. The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and the prices are more than fair. But the best part is the staff. You won’t find anything like this anywhere else in Bali. It doesn’t feel like staying at a hotel—it feels like being part of a warm and loving family. Always kind, always friendly, and always helpful. You can ask anything, and they’ll immediately assist you with advice and support. I booked a trip to the Jatiluwih rice terraces and the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, and it was wonderful. The driver was very kind and drove safely. I was so relaxed that I even fell asleep on the way back. I originally planned to stay for only four nights, but I found it so incredibly beautiful there that I extended my stay by another four nights. Since my bungalow was already booked for someone else, I was allowed to move into a truly huge suite—at the same price. Which was an unbelievable offer. The suite was so spacious that I almost felt a little lost 🤣🤣 but the staff was always happy to have a chat, making me feel right at home.

Nothing to complain about

Breakfast is amazing, my last day my flight was early, I did get a breakfast box to take away. The room and bathroom were beautiful, the view from my balcony was supurb. Staff were friendly.

Ther were renovating the room next to mine, so a bit noisy during the day. I recommend earplugs if you want a daytime chill or nap - only if they are still renovating,

Beautiful Balinese architecture and the staff, particularly Robot, are amazing. This is my second stay with Kebun Indah because the first day a couple years ago was wonderful. The location is as ideal as it gets and this hotel offers the most generous breakfast I’ve ever had in Bali. The services are amazing, including laundry done for such a minimal price. The beds are super comfortable and the balconies are generously sized. Air conditioning works great and wifi is strong. Everything you could possibly want is right outside the front door within a five minute walk.

The room is generous and secluded, we were lucky to have views of the pool. The Balinese breakfast was great. The gardens and fountains and pool area are especially lovely and feel like an oasis from the chaos of the street. There are restaurants and shops right outside, though the walk into central Ubud is a bit further than we thought, so the hotel very helpfully drove us in and arranged pick up at no extra cost. They were also very kind in letting us leave bags there before and after our stay. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all, a great place to stay if you want somewhere tranquil but still close to central Ubud.

This hotel is situated is a temple-like garden, away from the busy Ubud streets. Each suite in the series of small buildings is unique and offers a tranquil outdoor patio area. Our garden room felt like an authentic guest house from another era - a charming experience.

Arriving at the hotel requires a 5-7 min walk from the main street. This means rolling and sometimes carrying (down a few stairs) your luggage on a narrow and somewhat rough path to the hotel gate. My daughter and I are reasonably fit and still found this challenging in the midday heat. The walk is worth it! And it means no street noise. But visitors should be prepared. Also, the suites are located on a slope, so there are some stairs to be navigated, especially toward the pool area.

Kebun Indah is gorgeous, traditional accommodation in Ubud. The garden surrounding the rooms is stunning and feels like you are in the jungle! We loved that the accommodation is a short walk from many restaurants, bars, spas, yoga barn and even the monkey forest! The staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast is served in your room each morning which is a real treat. We stayed in a 1st floor pool side room which has a large balcony which was perfect for having breakfast or chilling in the afternoon. The staff are very helpful when it comes to organising drivers or giving tips and advice on activities.

We stayed at Kebun Indah during rainy season which meant there were a lot of bugs in the outdoor areas. If you a freaked by mosquito and ants then maybe avoid this accommodation during the rainy season. That said, there were no bugs or mosquitos in our room and the bed was equipped with a mosquito net. The facilities in the room are slightly dated but everything worked perfectly so we have no complaints.

Our first time in Bali and we could not of picked a better place. The location was good just a short walk from the monkey forest and so quiet, it was hard to belive we were so close to the busy street. The staff were all so friendly and we really felt looked after. From arranging a driver for a day trip out to ordering and serving us dinner on our balcony from their resturant in ubud nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast and afternoon tea also served on our balcony was delicious. We would not hesitate in recommending Kebun Indah and hope to return one day soon.

We were very comfortable as a couple with a young baby sharing a two bedroom villa. The pool was small but clean and generally quiet and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and had a comfortable, soft bed. Breakfast was excellent - worth having rather than venturing out. Staff were friendly, kind and helpful. Good wifi with speed comparable to a mobile 4G hotspot. Airy bathrooms. Good AC. The hotel has a free shuttle bus that can take you within central Ubud - it's not clearly advertised but worth using if you have a family/group.

Baby cot needed a mattress - we used the blanket from the bed. By far the most expensive 'in house' laundry service - most other hotels in Bali have charged us IDR15-25/kg. This service was confusingly priced per item and seemed to be a general figure at the end. All our items were cleaned well but it was the only real downside. Be aware that, like many places, this is set back a 2 minute walk from the road so can be hard to find when you first visit.

This resort is on the busiest street in Ubud. It is crazy! All the tourists, all the restaurants, and all the traffic. I can say that I heard NONE of this in our bungalow! Arriving at the street entrance, you take a walk down a lighted forested walkway for 130m before arriving at reception. It immediately got so quiet and seemed off the beaten path that I thought we were lost. Once you see the archway with ‘Kebun Indah’, you know you have arrived. The staff greeted us with juice and all the information about the area and the hotel. The property offers high tea service, breakfast service, lunch service, and dinner service delivered directly to the patio of your bungalow. You order at reception or over the WhatsApp. High tea is offered at 3-6 PM (1500-1800) daily. Hot or iced tea and small cakes are available. The staff delivered our tea directly to the pool. The breakfast menu has all necessary dietary options. Breakfast starts at 7:30 AM, but on the first morning of our stay, we were leaving at 7:30 for a day trip. The staff brought our breakfast 30 minutes early to accommodate our plans. We never ate lunch or dinner at the property, but if breakfast is any indication, the food will be outstanding. Tea and/or coffee will be delivered all day at anytime to your bungalow. There are only seven bungalows in this property, our room was on the lowest level directly adjacent to the pool. I believe all rooms are set up the same. There is a small refrigerator outside on the patio with your table and chairs for eating and relaxing. Inside the front doors is the bed and daybed with clothes cabinets. Plug adapters were in the nightstand drawers. The bathroom is spacious and is semi open air. Make sure you close the bedroom door to hold in the cool temperatures of the bedroom. Since the bathroom is open air, mosquito netting is provided over the bed. It can be easily moved away if not needed, and I never felt at all like mosquitoes or other insects were ever a problem.

Be prepared that the property has steps down to reach rooms. This was not a problem at all for my wife and I, but the closer you stay to the pool the further down you travel and will have to climb back up to leave the property. If stairs are a problem, just request a bungalow far away from the pool.
