Excellent and well maintained infrastructure. Warm, well trained and professional personnel. Work distance from city centre and lake.

The Grand Serai is an elegant hotel with beautiful public spaces. The grand piano in the lobby, the carved woodwork, the sumptuous seating areas all said, come linger awhile. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed, and the bathrooms are spacious. My bathroom even had a chandelier. The breakfast buffet had an amazing array of choices. Everything we sampled was delicious. The staff was multi lingual, efficient, and very accommodating. We enjoyed coffee and after dinner drinks in their bar area. Our server was very pleasant and very attentive to our requests. The hotel is well located. Everything is within walking distance - the shops, restaurants, the fortress, the lake. We had a grand experience, and would return in a heart beat!

I would have liked more lighting in the hallways leading to our rooms.

The position of the hotel, very closed to the centre. The recepsionist upgraded us in a bigger room, which was really appreciated by us. The superior room was big and comfort. The breakfast was very good and abondant.

The bathroom was very small and shower is done within a tub which is not very comfortable. The water was collected and didnt go down easily, thus it wasn' t relaxing. The so called spa of the hotel consisted on a hot swimming pool and some massage rooms, no sauna, no hammam. It was not worthy for what was required to be paid. They let in the swimming pòol too many people in the same time so it is not enjoyable and relaxing at all.

Very clean, beautiful and great location

Wonderful hotel, perfect location, very friendly staff, especially in the restaurant and at the reception, ready to help and make the guest's stay in Ioannina more beautiful.

I cannot understand that in a hotel of this rank it is not possible to maintain basic order at the pool, but some of the guests - both children and adults - behave as if they were on a public beach, and no one warns them about it. I didn't use the pool for a few hot days because of that.

This is a fabulous hotel in a very interesting city, well worth visiting. The hotel is in the city centre, about 1km from the ancient Kastro at the lakeside, with its buzzy bars and restaurants, easily reached by car or taxi. Very quiet, comfortable room, wonderful 40m swimming pool (pool towels provided!), excellent breakfast, extremely helpful staff. The hotel has a carpark.

Nothing - it was perfect in every respect.

Everything was amazing! We even got a free room upgrade to a suite! The staff was super friendly, the room was huge, the breakfast was endless, and everything was fantastic. And above all, the price wasn't a 5-star hotel price AT ALL! Highly recommended, and for sure, I will have to return when visiting Ioannina again. Thanks to all the staff for an amazing stay!

The air-conditioning in the room was a bit noisy

A superb Hotel near the heart of Ioannina, making it an ideal base to explore this beautiful city. Great value for money, very good breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, easy parking.

Some small details can improve. The air-condition in the room was rather noisy even in the lower fan setting, the toilet paper was of very low quality, the glass elevators were not air-conditioned and were very hot especially in the afternoon.

Location. Upgrade.

Common areas and in-room cleaning should be both reinforced. For the third consecutive stay, the Spa and indoor pool were closed. Not very nice as these are part of hotel’s services, being a 5* hotel. Still strange and not very convenient the path to follow from the indoor parking to access the reception. Breakfast buffet is of wide variety but some elements should be of higher quality such as juice or croissants.

From the moment we arrived we felt very much at home. We loved the interior design! It looked so majestic, nice art everywhere. The staff was very professional, polite and helpful. Our rooms were clean, had much space and the airconditioning worked perfectly fine. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and very well prepared. I brought my parents along and they were as amazed as we were. We also loved the city. I wished I could have used the pool more but we had so many things to do/see in the city. We loved our stay and we will definitely come back!
