Location worked well for us but there is no public nearby so I was glad that my partner had his car. Lyft and other services are available in the area so you would still be able to reach Rodeway and other locations but would be costlier than buses or on foot. I liked that there was a microwave and refrigerator in the room, so we were able to pick up provisions when not visiting his family, and we were able to cook and make hot drinks if needed along with being able to store healthy choices. I missed breakfast on the first day as the opening times for this were a little confusing where my jetlagged brain was concerned, but when we got to have breaky there was a nice selection to choose from. The waffle maker was fun and there was plentiful tea and coffee available. I didn't spend a lot of time in the room as we were out and about most days but it was comfortable enough for the price paid and there was a daily visit from housekeeping to see if we needed anything topping up. Didn't really speak with the front desk except for check in and check out but they were polite and friendly both times. Price for the stay was reasonable and fair for the accommodation offered. I felt safe in the area and slept well. The walls appear fairly thick and I was not disturbed with any sound from my immediate neighbours. We were close to the highway and could not hear any traffic sounds unless we had the door open so you would get a restful sleep here if in one of the rear motel rooms.

A couple of extra pillows would have been welcome as they were quite thin - I ended up using 2 of the pillows while my partner had one folded in half. Also I did find what looked like cigarette burn holes in the sheets - my room was non-smoking. While the room did not smell at all of smoke and was lovely and clean it did make me wonder how often new sheets are applied/ sheets are replaced - these are small things and didn't overly affect our stay so I did not mention them at the time. Potentially though these are improvements which could be made, just to finesse an already cosy environment.

The property was nice and clean, many restaurants to go to after long road trip. Very comfortable room for the price, updated, great bed, clean.

We will be staying at this motel again next road trip down south.

Convenient to visiting attractions in Northern Virginia. We were there for 3 days. Bed was comfortable. Close to restaurants,had laundry facility.

Was surprised at finding old soap in shower when we arrived- felt like had not been cleaned. Had to get light bulbs and toilet paper. TV needs to be replaced- had bad pixels which affected watching, told front desk about it to fix.

Parking was plentiful. For breakfast time, the drink machine worked.

After checking in at the office and noticing a drink machine with a water dispenser, I asked the clerk if the motels had a water fountain and he answered no. After entering and trying to settle into the room, I found out the unit of light and outlets above the desk did not function. I called the office to report the maintenance issue. The clerk answered, said he would come check it, and did not come. The sink counter had a large crack and the bathroom tub had dried paint drippings. For breakfast time, the waffle mix dispensing valve repeatedly clogged. When I checked out, the clerk did not return my deposit until after I reminded him to.

Comfortable bed, swimming pool, close to everything.

I booked online and was given a price but after getting there it was an extra 50 dollar deposit for some reason. Guests should be aware of this so their not blindsided.

Quiet, good location, fair price.

Coffee rationing in lobby. Coffee Nazi...."You cannot fill up your large foam cup with coffee" didn't get breakfast because I didn't want to eat it in breakfast room. 😫 I just went to the store and got my own supplies for my stay. Need to have do not disturb cards to put on door in the room. I don't like housekeeping coming into my room uninvited.

King sized bed and smoking room

My only complaint is the bugs were kind of bad at night and try to follow you in the room, BUT NO ROACHES thank god.

Beautiful room, with good air conditioning and a comfy bed. Had a really good night's sleep. Staff were also very friendly and efficient.

The WiFi was down due to a storm which was problematic for me.

Great price. Very clean.

Breakfast was all simple carbs plus a little dairy. The building is older and worn but kept very clean. Nothing to complain about.

We are a team of soccer players from Chicago and we appreciate the great service we received, from extra sheets to pillows and towels the staff was very attentive. The pool was great.
