Upon arrival we were told we had been upgraded to this cottage and what a nice surprise. It was perfect for our stay in that it was spacious for the 2 of us. It was very clean, cozy and private since it was at the back of the property. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner Catherine and her mother, Barb. They were lovely ladies full of information on the property’s history and local area. Catherine was so accommodating when we misplaced the key. What a pleasant woman who wants to ensure her guests have a wonderful experience. We will definitely look at a future return to this property.

Because the cottage was small, there was limited places to put our belongings. But we managed and made the most of the other amenities.

Nice spacious room, sofa and small kitchenette with little table. Full sized fridge and laundry (we did not have occasion to use it). Lovely deck and gardens! We arrived late and did not get to meet our hosts personally, but communication was easy (texting) and we received an upgrade—very nice! Would definitely stay again!

The only thing was minor, but it seemed the deck was high enough that it needed either a partial rail or something at the edge like a light color border to help me feel I wasn’t going to accidentally walk off the edge. I understand that esthetically it is very nice to not have a railing but have it open. We are a little older and more afraid of falling, maybe. Otherwise, Lovely, Lovely place!

The location was incredible! Only a 5 minute walk to the "downtown" area where we grabbed Excellent dinner without needing reservations. It was a cute area to walk around. The inn was beautiful, clean, and the host was so thoughtful and kind. She had suggestions for whatever you wanted to do in the area! Absolutely would stay again.

The check-in process could have had a bit more direction, but the host is always quick to answer the phone so we didn't have any actual issues. If there were more information online about the check-in expectations/process and check-out, that would've made it even easier.

Very clean and safe home and area ...owner was very helpful with knowledge of area..wineries,restaurants,things to do in area,.very large property with very nice sitting areas...eat walk to a very nice town with shops and restaurants and bars..very comfortable home with nice room with nice bedding and bathrooms..

Not much to say bad about anything...165 year old house but with modern upgrades..but with a lot of charm

Very nice old house within short walking distance to the center of town. Bed was very comfortable. We had our own suite of 3 rooms (including bathroom) with a locking door separating us from the rest of the house. Our suite had a nice large spa tub (but no shower). There was a refrigerator in the hallway outside our door stocked with bottled water. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. The neighborhood was very quiet - hardly any traffic. Overall, it was the perfect place for a quiet weekend getaway.

Breakfast at ice cream shop was v good. Friendly staff. At the house Robert was wonderful. His knowledge of the area enabled us to more fully enjoy the home and the village. Don’t miss the Curtiss Museum just down the road. The young volunteer docent loves his job and made our tour extremely rewarding. And the history of the house is amazing. The now famous historical figures that lived there and were guests there is unbelievable, especially if you have never heard of Glen Curtiss And we hadn’t. And don’t miss the art gallery in the alley downtown. This cozy B&B was in a great location. Everything was walkable. Loved it! Thank you, Robert!

Shower needed a floor mat

They gave us a coupon for breakfast at a very nice breakfast place a short walk away and the food was delicious. In fact, the whole town was pretty much walkable from our place and the historic town was quite beautiful. Katherine, the owner of the house, was very sweet and she shared the the history of the town and the house with us. The pool at the house was beautiful and super clean. The house and the grounds were well maintained and offered a peaceful setting. Also, the region has many fine wineries around the lake that have exceptional wines.

Everything was quite nice.

Loved the room decor. Also comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed. Easy access to area attractions.

Wasn’t a problem but we never met the owners and had to guess which room was ours in the guest house. All worked out!

A grand old house separated into lovely rooms each with their own theme. Off street parking. Nicely decorated. Catherine the proprietress is a wonderful lady who was very accommodating and told us all about the history of the house and the area.

My recently remodelled king room was cozy, clean and well equipped. On a hot summer day the effective AC and the cool pristine pool were very refreshing. Easy walk into the village for dinner and breakfast
