The location, the view and the breakfast

There is no ac, the bathroom isn't connected to the room, there is lots and lots and lots of bugs, plus there is a hornet next right beside the window and got way too bug bites, no privacy since you can hear and see everything. No staff to clean the room, so if your going to stay long be ready to use the same sheets, blankets and pillows. The path to the room you need to climb a lot, so if you have a knee issue, you will have some problems since there is no elevator. Also you need to run for the parking since there is lots of wasps. Another thing the location is better accessed with car because it's far away from the bus shettle and the location itself is confusing with the neighboring home

Friendly manager, Perfect view, excellent breakfast, and a welcoming spot for pet lovers, including cats and goats. There's parking available behind the building. The house is old but charming—definitely not for luxury hotel seekers, but perfect for nature lovers and those who appreciate a more laid-back, tolerant atmosphere. Highly recommended! very close to Panoramabrücke Sigriswil.

Just a heads-up for future travelers: there are about three floor steps leading up to the room entrance, which might be something to consider if you have heavy luggage or accessibility needs. The refrigerator in the common area could be bigger. The water boiler in the room could also be replaced with a larger and newer one.

I apologize for not being able to speak German. :( This beautiful B&B is situated in a tranquil mountain location with stunning views of both the lake and the surrounding peaks. The house itself is warm and cozy, equipped with all the necessary conveniences. The landlord is a lovely and welcoming gentleman! We arrived much later than the latest check-in time, yet he greeted us with enthusiasm, helped us check in, and gave us a thorough tour of the house. We also enjoyed a very delicious breakfast the next day morning. I highly recommend for this B&B! Thank you again for the amazing experience! Danke schön! :)

Schönörtli is at a nice location above Lake Thun. During good weather, the view of Niesen Mountain is astonishing. It is an ideal place for someone who wants some peace and quiet for a while. Breakfast was simple but very good.

Take note that the toilets are shared between 3 rooms. Also, there are no lifts in the house, so be ready to lug your suitcases up the stairs. Though the staff was quickly stepping in to help.

The view of the lake from the room is wonderful. You can see alps and the lakes from a unique elevated view. The owner was responsive and the breakfast was also timely and well prepared. There is a small garden that you are allowed to access. I believe it would be a nice place to hang around in the summers.

There are no options for dinner nearby. Make sure to pack some food before you reach. Also if you go with a heavy baggage, it can be a steep walk up the hill to reach the place. Definitely hard for old people/ people with limited mobility.

it is the best accommodation in my travel this time. my window has a super fantastic view and fresh air. they have clean room and bathroom, and good breakfast. you also can play with the goats and cats there. Be careful don't miss the last bus to reach there, otherwise you gonna have a good exercise climb from the down hill stops, which is also a super cool experience.

The description of the property, facility and location are accurate, everything met our expectations. The view from the bedroom window was excellent. Considering the price this accommodation is excellent.

Having read carefully the description there is nothing to dislike or complain about. Other reviews that have rated the property poorly have not read the description properly.

Great host, very nice guy. Cats, goats. View was amazing. Shared bathrooms, but you barely run into anybody. We had two full bathrooms with toilets shared with other like two rooms.

The beds were very comfortable and the scene from the window was breathtaking. The family who owned were friendly and the breakfast, which was included, was lovely. and only a ten minute walk away was the most refreshing swim in the Thunersee!

The view was absolutely stunning from the windows. Dramatic with the mountains and the lake. Lovely, cosy rooms in a truly quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Not even the fact that the bathrooms were shared was a problem. They were clean and everything provided.

Only one thing. We were asked whether we want omelette for breakfast, but nobody said we had to pay extra for that after having paid breakfast with the accommodation. We assumed that's what breakfast meant. So, that was a bit of a blow.
