Absolutely everything. This was one of the most magical places we stayed on our entire trip. The facilities are beautiful, spotlessly clean, and feel brand new, with so much thought put into every detail. The owners are the kindest, most wonderful people - they went above and beyond for us, even helping when we accidentally left a suitcase behind after check-out. The alfresco area is gorgeous, perfect for enjoying a coffee or meal in a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The whole property radiates care, comfort, and beauty. I can’t wait to go back.

No label on doorbell so had to telephone to check I had arrived at the right address. The photos did not accurately reflect the tiny size and darkness of the room. No windows to open and curtains needed to be permanently closed as the room looks onto the courtyard. No milk and only one teabag on arrival. I had to ask for the fridge to be switched on. Problems sorted out quickly but it wasn’t an auspicious start.

I stayed in the suite with a small kitchen which opened onto a beautiful garden - what a lovely way to greet the day! The suite was well appointed and maintained. Everything worked well. While in many accommodations there is a tiny shower, this one was spacious with ample hot water. Everything extra, like the hairdryer, microwave, coffee maker was a cut above many hotels. The rooms were cleaned every 3 days and linens changed. Bike rental was very affordable. If I had any requests, they were speedily dealt with. Simone was very professional. A big plus was the electric heating as the nights could get cold at this time of the year, and most places cannot provide heat due to government restrictions.

As I was there for 3 weeks, the lack of laundry facilities on-site was an issue. There was a clean and efficient lavanderia about 5 minutes away, but it required precious holiday time to wait for things to wash and dry (as it was very humid things would take many days to dry on a rack).

Small guest house with a lovely lush courtyard for relaxing centrally located in Lucca. Responsive and helpful host who gave great restaurant recommendations. Cute property.

Although the square footage is disclosed in the room description on Booking, I was not fully prepared for how small the room actually was (although there was a closet and a decent sized bathroom). I believe they have other rooms that may be larger, so double check which room you're reserving when booking. Comfortable bed and pillows. So, other than sleeping, there's not much room to relax, but luckily the inner courtyard is very pleasant to pass the time when not sightseeing. Another personal preference: There are 2 doors directly off the courtyard to the room (and bathroom), but no windows, so I was unable to have fresh air without leaving the door open, thus sacrificing privacy and allowing insects in.

The property had a perfect location, Simone was so kind and greeted me with such hospitality, and gave me recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The shower had great pressure and the water was very hot. There were fresh towels that were very large and the linens were very comfortable to sleep in. The heat was very warm and coffee out of an espresso machine was absolutely delightful. Simone even offered to come in after two days to tidy up the room, which was very kind…. Even though it was cold and rainy, the patio was absolutely charming so I hope next time I come to visit, I can enjoy a glass of wine in the beautiful outdoor space that they offer.

Our stay here was awesome! Host was very helpful. Location was really good, close to the train station and restaurants. Super comfortable bed and soft towels. Big shower. Beautiful courtyard to have food and drinks. Even though it is central, it's extremely quiet as the rooms are set back from the streets.

I loved them but be aware if you leave your door open, you may get a feline visitor. Lovely cats on site. Actual room was on the smaller size

I travelled to Lucca for a wedding and was staying in Lucca my own. The property was nicely decorated and had everything I needed for my trip. I felt very safe while staying there. I especially enjoyed the courtyard for sitting outside to relax. It is shaded so you don’t get too hot (I went in August!).

Excellent location. Owner very responsive to requests. Change of towels twice in one week and bed sheets once during week was very welcome and appreciated.

Out-door seating area gets very little sun - although during peak season, when weather very hot this might be appreciated more! Holders for soap/shampoo etc in the shower would be a good idea, as would sharp knives in kitchen which had to be requested.

This is in my favorite area to stay when visiting Lucca. The accommodation is nicely updated, sparkling clean and has a comfortable bed. A bonus is the kitchenette with a mini refrigerator and dining table & 4 chairs. Another bonus is the lovely & tranquil outdoor patio & garden area. A very helpful, attentive, responsive & exceptional host!

The sofa (bed) in the living area only has seating for 1 person so the other person has to use the kitchen chair. Not the best for relaxing & hanging out, as it is not particularly comfortable. Everything else was superb!

Firstly the communication was first rate, we were met at the arranged time and everything was shown to us. The apartment(s) are situated in the back of a lovely old building with a courtyard decorated with plants with each apartment having their own table/chairs/outside sofas. Very soothing was the fountain which ran in the evenings. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. There is plenty of storage space in the apartment, everything spotlessly clean and new. Shower was great, very good air conditioning.

The bedside lighting could be better. Otherwise all good.
