- Spacious & clean room, wooden floors, no carpet - Tap water is pre-filtered and easy to drink - Bathroom very nice ... ... Toilet can be hidden from rest of bathroom via sliding door, and ... Shower didn't splash or spill water everywhere - Room nicely lit, very smart lighting system with all the switches labeled so you know exactly what button turns on/off what

Nothing to really complain about but - Slightly far walk from a few typical attractions if you like to be in the middle of everything, though this wasn't a problem for us. Still very accessible and in a nice area near King/Queen St - At first we were surprised the mini-bar was not free like some newer or more modern hotels... but then we decided this is actually a good thing so they don't make the room more expensive for unused extras/amenities, just pay for what you want

Very stylish Hotel, Very trendy and in a hip area, seemed quite a young crowd (Or maybe I'm getting a bit old!) could be noisy at the weekends for some. The staff were amazing and went far and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, overall the service was faultless and I think that makes the biggest difference. The rooms were immaculately clean, modern and stylish. I would definatly stay again.

Could be noisy for some, especially at the weekends. The roof top bar is good with great views but is open to the public with no areas kept for Hotel customers. We managed to squeeze in but would have been disappointed had we not been able to have a drink as guests considering the room rate. The idea that the hotel is sustainable falls short in some places, it's a hotel after all! some touches are great though like the water in the rooms being chilled filtered drinking water. Some rooms on the lower floors could be noisy for some, proximity to the street and parties happening at the weekends. Our first room suffered from this, we also noticed no privacy blinds in the lower room only curtains!?

Great comfy stay, good sized room, loved that they had small chalk boards in the rooms to communicate with the housekeeper, room service is actually really tasty.

Being charged a delivery fee for room service, quality of toilet paper is unacceptable for such a high standard hotel, also why is everything in the minibar an extra cost and also exorbitantly price ? Just dropping over 1k per night but then being charged 7$ for a small bag of chips, or basically anything in else in the minibar is cheap.

We had a pleasant stay at 1 Hotel Toronto; the room was spacious, clean, and stylish, and the service was excellent. The hotel’s commitment to being green was also a nice touch.

Our experience was marred by a disappointing dining situation at the hotel’s restaurant, 1 Kitchen. Despite having a reservation and being at the bar, we were informed that the kitchen had closed at 9:30 pm without any prior notice, leaving us without a meal.

Exceptional facilities, foods, drinks, location. Outstanding overall. I loved the view, the open spaces. There were a lot of smaller details which made a big impact. I've never experienced a hotel as impressive as this.

When I was checking out, people knocked on door twice even though I had a late check out and walked in without knocking the second time. Not a biggy.

The breakfast at 1 kitchen was fabulous, with lots of interesting ingredients. The rooftop pool was amazing, and Alexey was absolutely brilliant managing the pool area - attentive, friendly, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable on the surrounding area - he is a real asset to 1 Hotel Toronto!!!

The initial welcome was a bit cold from the person on reception, and didn't know about the pool heating

We loved Harriet's rooftop bar / good service , view outstanding ambiance excellent!

We wanted to have breakfast at the hotel - however it would have seemed they were short staffed as we were seated however waited 15 minutes and no one came over to take our order. Because we were pressed for time we opted to leave.

Everything !!!!!!

Pricing for the hotel cocktails and food was a little expensive. Even though I noted that I would arrive at 3pm my room was not ready until 4pm. I did receive a complementary drink for the delay. The traffic was very loud outside with sirens going off at least 2 or 3 times a day/night. The construction at hotel was noisy on the rooftop as well as it being outside around the hotel. My panoramic King view was a little bit of an eyesore but that’s due to construction. Lastly, the knocking at my door at odd hours of the night offering services was a little off putting - seeing as though I was alone.

Great staff location and amenities

Service at the pool was poor. I am used to having wait staff come by regularly to take drink and food orders and that was not the case. There is no menu available on the pool deck and it took way too long for a staff to come by and check on guests. Also not enough space on the pool deck for guests to really relax - chairs and loungers are insufficient.

Excellent hotel, facilities and staff! 100% in every category and I really recommend this hotel! Uniquely designed with sustainability in mind and the decor reflect this, from 'live' murals to the room keys! Really 'funky' hotel with a lot of class thrown in! We will definitely be returning here.

The hotel exceeded in all expectations and I have nothing negative to say about this property
