20-30 minutes walk over the river to/from the train station or the Quai de Lesseps coach stop. Short easy walk to the cathedral, city ramparts, Rue d’Espagne and down to the riverside market and restaurants. Large comfortable bed with firm enough mattress. Kettle and compact well equipped kitchenette with useful mini cleaning kit. Good advance communication from multi-lingual reception staff. Bear in mind, the reception opening times, although out of hours arrival/departure can be accommodated

On our 2 week trip, this was the only property that required a holding deposit of €200 which, though promptly refunded on our departure, caused some stress trying to pay in advance over the phone on a train platform. This would be easier to pay at the point of booking.

Excellent position near cathedral in lovely old town. Excellently priced and good quality Asian wok restaurant downstairs open till 9.45pm - a bonus for an evening arrival. Room was clean and spacious with good heating and a nice spacious bathroom and shower. The nicely equipped kitchenette was a bonus, with kettle/tea/coffee/fridge etc. The evening entry system worked well once we worked out how to put our code into the safe box to retrieve apartment key! (A passer-by showed us...!)

Nothing. I would recommend. You know you have to leave a €200 deposit for the key, but so what?.. it's released as soon as you return the key, anyway. I guess being asked to carry your own rubbish down to the bins is unusual after paying €74 for the night's accommodation.. but it's not a deal-breaker.. just a bit odd!

The property was comfortable, very well situated, quiet, and practical. While it is not fancy, it is cozy and I enjoyed my time there very much. The check-in was a breeze and the reception desk was very kind. It was exactly what I had hoped for, nothing more, nothing less. If I go through Bayonne again, I will definitely plan on returning to the Temporesdience Cathedrale.

There is nothing that I did not like.

Central location. Quiet spot. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Lovely aspect with big windows.

Kitchenette could have had some more equipment for cooking. Some more toilet paper and washing up supplies supplied would be helpful, although these were provided when we asked for them. The 200euro deposit does seem excessive but perhaps there is a reason this has become necessary with people not being responsible guests.

Unbeatable location, just behind the Cathedral, it had a lovely view of the red slated roofs from the room window The room was small but well fitted and super clean. There is a lift in the building. The staff were very polite. I was able to leave the luggage in a locker. You can find delicious beakfast in a café in Place Pasteur. If you love good cinema - head over the bridge to l'Atlantique.

great value for money. All facilties for self catering if needed, well located for everything we needed and site seeing easy by walking. Laundry onsite a bonus for travellers. Parking can be difficult but we found street parking easy the first day and at a large car park a very large second one on the waterfron the second night. Amazingly cheap fees or all night.

Great location in the middle of the old town. Beautiful view of the cathedral from the bedroom!

Sometimes there were dodgy people (homeless people?) sitting on a bench in the square next to the Residence.

Great location. Very close to the Cathedral and to great shops for chocolates and food.

Limited number of sockets to plug our devices into the electricity to charge. None near the beds. I had to charge my phone in the kitchen. No handsoap by the bathroom sink.

Location is perfect, 2 minutes from the cathedral, 5 minutes from shops and market. Buses and trains are 10-15 minutes walk. Apartment is well kept, clean and spacious. Everything works perfectly.

Great location next to the Cathedral, tho quiet. Great staff very efficient 👍 Large rooms with comfy bed. The restaurant downstairs is yummy.

There was a misconception with our shower. As the slope towards the drain was maybe not enough, we had to pay attention no to flood the entire bathroom. But that was just fine, not that bad.
