Location was perfect distance from campus; only a few minutes walk away; for the most part it was quiet and very private and nice boutique style where you can just enter and exit and check in and check out seamlessly; room was ideal - bed and pillows were extremely comfortable!
water and herbal tea only available the first day and was not replenished; construction was not too bad, but started at 8:30am even on a saturday. the night time student scene brought students walking home loud voices and chatting - I had front facing room so it was a disturbance periodically through the night

The room and location were excellent, really 10/10. If you travel by car, be very aware. There is a huge reconstruction on the road going on. You can’t park or stop in front. The garage opposite is open on weekdays from 9 till 20 and very expensive (we learnt the hard way). The lack of information provided to tourists traveling by car to the location is something that annoyed us. The assistance while encountering these problems were proffesionally dealt with.

A really excellent value for money accomodation in the middle of Coimbra. The team was quick on the response if anything was amiss or if anything was needed. The check in and check out was smooth and easy. The location is superb, and with blinders for the windows you are not able to know if it day time or night time! Really nice if you like to sleep in during your vacation! For a short stay in Coimbra this is a really good spot, close to everything you need! On a side note - the shower was amazing! 10/10 just for that! I will definitely return!

Extremely comfortable room and immaculately clean. Gorgeous shower and bathroom. There were fridge and coffee facilities in the room which were a nice touch, and the shared communal kitchen/terrace were excellent. The room was very spacious and fitted very well, and the check in was so easy!
There was no option to recycle your waste when in the kitchen, at least from what we could see, we may not have noticed it however! The local area is a bit noisy from students and that did go right through our windows - this is totally out of the hotel's control but just a little warning!

We had the room that was pictured, with the courtyard. We were delighted with the spaciousness and decor. It was relatively near the University Coimbra. Room was on the ground level. The towels were very luxuriant and extra large. The shower gel/shampoo wasn’t the usual commercial off the shelf. Bathroom space left an impression on us. Bruno was very helpful especially in allowing us to leave our bags in the morning prior to check-in time.
The AC wasn’t working. Fortunately, by leaving a window open, it cooled down the room in this first week of Sept.

- Great location near Praça da República and a quick 10 minute walk to downtown - Very effective no-contact check-in process. - Staff (Bruno) is extremely nice and provide all kinds of details and necessary help via private messaging - Very tidy and clean room - Comfortable bed - Excellent bathroom conditions and water pressure and temperature - Coffee included!
- Nothing in particular - you just need to be aware this property doesn’t have an actual reception and is not manned 24/7. Perfectly fine for my needs this time.

I chose the suite room. The room was really clean and comfortable, with very good bed, great shower, had the machine for coffee of high quality, a bottle of water too, the heating and freezing was very good, cleaned every day, with a direct support via booking chat and some messages with the owner and the staff supporting too. You can use the shared kitchen and a terrace. The location is closed to the university. I was there for a job, and with the monumental stairs, which are closed to the house and are the easy way to go up to the historical city and to the University, was up in a while. It is not in the main centre of the city, but the location is surrounded by some restaurants and bar, and it is a quiet place. Thanks for my well staying.

The room was cozy and bright. It faced the multi-leveled patio, which had been carefully screened with dense foliage. This added privacy and a pleasant view. The community kitchen was sparkling clean and welcoming. The original artwork was tasteful and interesting. The location was excellent, just outside the boundaries of the university campus, a 5-10-minute walk to the city market, restaurants, historical sights and museums.
There were no USB ports for charging my phone. Reading lights over the bed would have been appreciated. Road construction made access by car and parking a little awkward..

I liked everything. Our room was super comfortable and warm for the cold nights of Coimbra. The accommodation is new and the facilities are new. We asked for a room away from the street because we know that Coimbra is a noisy city. We slept peacefully without any noise. This was extremely important for me because during my stay I was working at the University and on the computer in my room. Everything was extremely clean and the staff always sent messages to see if everything was ok. They were super helpful. I have nothing to point out. I will definitely go back to sleep here if I return to Coimbra
The only thing I didn't like about the accommodation were the pillows. They were too high for me. And the toilet area was a little tight. Nothing much. Although the facilities are new, the wooden floor in the bathroom will cause problems in the future

The location was an easy walk to the university, though uphill. We easily walked down the hill to old town and the historic District.
If I had a criticism it is, there weren't that many restaurants within a couple block of our stay. Though very clean, with an out door terrace, and wonderful bathroom, the room was a bit small.
