We are so grateful for a wonderful stay. The location of this hotel could not have been better. It is so close to all the Roman ruins and cafes and restaurants in the town. Our room was furnished absolutely beautifully, and parking in the center garage was easy once we figured out that this was not right at the hotel.

It was the middle of a heat wave when we visited (highs over 100 degrees F for several days). The air conditioning in our third floor room had a bit of a hard time keeping up, such that we struggled to sleep at night. If it had only been a bit cooler which is is typical for the time of year we visited, it would have been fine.

I had a really lovely room with a lobby between the bedroom and bathroom with a desk and fridge. Sleep-inducing bed with very fine linen. The beautifully furnished ground floor rooms are under-used and I wondered whether in high season an early evening bar would be a good idea to encourage folk to linger before heading out for dinner? It was great to be served at table for breakfast rather than dealing with a buffet. They catered for my gluten-free diet very well. The staff were very smiling and patient with my poor French. In all a very comfortable stay right in the heart of the city. Stay here if you can!

They did well in all respects.

This was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. All the communal areas were filled with lovely things and the decor was dark, atmospheric and so relaxing. Our room was spacious and very well appointed and even though it was on the ground floor, it was very quiet. The staff were just so welcoming and made our visit extra special. I only wish we had been able to spend more than one night. We will definitely stay there again if we every re-visit Arles.

There is absolutely nothing we didn´t like about this hotel.

Great location in the heart of the old city. Sumptuous, arty decor in the common areas. Comfortable room, very quiet. Well equipped with fridge, etc. Good breakfast. Appreciated the half-price deal for the car park (Parking du Centre). Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

On both mornings, there was nobody about when I went into the breakfast room. I had to ask the receptionist to call someone and they still took at least 5 minutes to emerge from the kitchen. Although the breakfast itself was good, a more welcoming attitude would have been appreciated. The room decor was rather dingy. Shower head not adjustable and could only be used handheld. Washbasin drain needed unblocking.

The check-in was very easy and the room was spacious and private. The bedding was so comfortable and promoted good sleep. It is in the center of the town so you can walk to all the interesting places and restaurants from there.

The bathtub/shower felt outdated. The breakfast was good but it felt that it wasn't managed very efficiently regarding keeping supplies of food and cleaning out the tables to ensure there are enough tables ready for new comers. Something easy to improve.

The view and location from our suite was amazing.

If we were aware of our upgrade to the top suite we which was amazing we would have packed a small overnight bag for our 1 night stay as we had our luggage for our month of travels in France. There was no lift so many many stars to get our luggage up and down. Just for guests to keep in mind.

This is a fantastic hotel. It is in an old building almost next to the amphitheater in the old town. You could not ask for a better location. The room was exceptionally comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There is also a sitting room for guests. We slept very well and it is very quiet at night. The centre of Arles is compact with museums and old buildings to visit. There are plenty of places to eat in a few minutes walk.

Nothing

The hotel is a jewel in its interior design, very artish (great paintings and photos). If it rained you could spend the whole day in the salon reading, talking or just enjoying music they play. The location is perfect: 3-10 min on foot to most of the main attractions (arena, amphiteatre, l'Espace de Van Gogh .... and 15min to LUMA). As my room was already cleaned I was able to check-in earlier. The man at the reception was extremely kind and generous! Next time I am in Arles I would definitely choose the same place.

This 17th century building has been well restored and is beautiful. The location and the parking is easy to find and a low stress deal. The staff is helpful with enough English to make it work. Arles is an old Roman city with narrow streets and old buildings. I recommend a visit to Arles.

The showers in this hotel and many others use the entire room as the shower, which means water is everywhere. So the floor needs to be dried after each shower. Kind of a pain.
