Solo guest in a double bed -very comfy ( and quiet)with clean bedding. Adequate basic breakfast - bacon, egg, sausage and tomato -beans with 3 cereal/juice tea, toast or coffee choices. I was able to have a hot bath! Shower available. Most pleasant Chinese?Senior couple and African evening reception gent. Room attendant also courteous. A good deal for last minute booking for under £35. Bus stops at the property for Edinburgh centre and airport. Good check in/out times 2pm to 11am

Carpet hygiene especially as I am asthmatic. Only one basic dining type chair okay for one night and one person but in a room for 4 people? Could be an issue.

Good staff clean white sheets new mattress on beds fresh coffee and cooked breakfast to order.felt very comfortable and safe there. All for £75 a night bargain bus stop outside the front door why pay £150/£200 a night to stay in Edinburgh city centre 😀

Nothing get what you pay for.went to see city not live in a hotel loads of places to eat in city centre and 10 minutes away from Murrayfield .Uber readly available and well priced

Great location, bus stop into city centre literally the other side of the car park wall, only 2 stops down the road for the zoo. Really friendly staff. Breakfast was really good, best scrambled eggs we've had in a long time! Beds were comfy, although the bunk bed (family room, but 3 adults staying) was a little low and wobbly.

Shower head in room 6 needs a deep clean, none of us wanted to use it. Reported at reception, and the receptionist offered to have it cleaned immediately for us, so not all bad. While it's a nice hotel, it is a bit dated and could do with a refresh.

Great location,lovely friedly hosts,really comfy bed with quality bedding,parking on site. For the price I have no complaints only suggestions as listed above ......breakfast was good as well.....I would stay here again

Not really a complaint or an i didnt like but more of a suggestion for the hosts going forward....... TV reception needs looking at,and room had small oil heater which just took chill off....perfect for me but maybe not most guests.......other than that all good

The staff at the Twin Lions is very helpful and friendly. They make their best for the host to be confortable. The hotel is 40 min walking away from the city. It's very easy to get there from the airport (10 min ride with the Airlink 100 bus), and from/to the city (10 min ride by bus). You can also walk to the city following the side walk. Definitely good value for money. Thank staff for your care 😀

The facilities are very clean. Yet, I was sharing the restroom and sometimes the WC was dirty but this is because of other guests rather than the staff.

Owner was lovely and helpful Only needed the room to sleep after an event so was excellent for just that room was small but comfortable Location was great for an event in the highland showground,expensive taxi on the way back early hours tho For the price it was excellent value for money Breakfast was included but cooked breakfast wasn't nice,over and under cooked eggs a spoonful of cold beans and under cooked bacon Continental was fine cereals,fruit and fresh juice For the price you can't complain with breakfast included just wouldn't have the cooked if I stayed again which I definitely would for another event and a short stay.

This was a cracking place for an overnight stay with work, There are plenty of places to grab something to eat and drink close by and all that the wonderful city of Edinburgh has to offer is not far by car/public transport. The staff are friendly and welcoming and there was a nice little breakfast too.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and arrived very quickly. Nice location near Corstorphine Hill and within easy reach of the centre. Excellent bus service goes every few minutes to get into town quickly, and it is only a 5 minute walk to the tram as well. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Hot water took a long time to run through to our room, but got there eventually. Shower door did not close completely. But these are minor issues.

Staff were all friendly and polite and breakfast and service were excellent Location was perfect as I was there for the rugby at Murrayfield stadium. Room was situated at rear of hotel so away from any road noise. bed was really comfortable and I had a great nights sleep.

Could have done with a chair in my room. The TV reception was a bit glitchy but sufferable.

Although the room I booked had a shared bathroom, it was still a comfortable and pleasant stay. The hotel had two shared bathrooms and toilets, which made it more convenient and avoided long waits. The room itself was clean, cozy, and good value for money. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.
