Location was fantastic, it seems to have a monopoly on Pacific City beach being the only major hotel right on the beach. Of course, the town is very small! It's also right up next to the sand dune which is pretty cool.
The price is to be honest, fairly outrageous for what it is. Yes you're the only hotel in pacific city that is more than 3 star hotel and you're on the water, but $700? Too much, the rooms and hotel are fine and all, but nothing amazing, but well done enough. But again, a silly price. Also, the food menu is ridiculously overpriced - $19 for avcado toast? $7 for a bagel and cream cheese? Come on.

Gorgeous location and amenities. High quality bedding, furnishings, and bath products. Excellent, friendly staff. Food was excellent (both in the restaurant and room service). Many, many options for activities, such as bikes, bonfire supplies, etc. Lots of attention to detail in the décor throughout the resort, with a special focus on the local floral and fauna -- really lovely.
While the room was beautifully appointed, I am not a fan of the "open-concept" for the shower and bath. Just a little too exhibitionist for me.

This is a great hotel. The location is unbeatable. The room was large, stylish and very well equipped...and the views were fabulous (especially from the terrace). The restaurant is very good. The "adventure center" had some good advice and recommendations for hikes. We didn't use some of the athletic equipment (gym, bicycles, etc) but this is also a big plus.
The service in the restaurant was slow. Good food, but slow service.

We really loved everything about Headlands as a resort. The room feels luxurious, cozy, fresh, modern. The view is simply epic and perfect. The extra amenities like the beach cooler bag, and access to bikes and chairs makes you feel like you're being treated as a special guest. The overall vibe and energy is perfect for a romantic beach stay. And most importantly, the staff are warm, personable, friendly, unintrusive, and seemed willing to help us in every way imaginable.
I wish we'd been informed while booking that a live band would playing loudly right outside of our room from 5pm to nearly 9pm. Our stay was only for one night, and we were hoping to relax with room service and a glass of wine on the deck watching the sunset after a long day of hiking and running our dogs on the beach. Unfortunately, the blaring music did not make for a very relaxing or romantic evening. Headlands is a wonderful resort, but it's far too expensive per night to not inform guests what they're in for. Perhaps others might have enjoyed the covers band playing tired classic rock over dinner, but we'd have preferred the peaceful experience Headlands promises on their website.

Very convenient, every detail is thought through
The showers weren’t really private. The curtain in the double queen room is see through and the king room isn’t private at all. There aren’t very many food places around and and restaurant has very expensive meals with very few choices

Pictures of the property do not do it justice. It is truly a little slice of heaven on the Oregon coast. Quiet town but plenty of amenities and eating options. The adventures team was fantastic helping navigate the area and setting up fun adventures like kayaking and hikes.

The location and lodge was very nice. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean, establishment.
For the price of stay, I would have liked to see more facilities available or at least better pricing for the extras.

Your staff was friendly and helpful. The adventure staff , Dan and John were informative and fun. The dining room dinner and breakfast were delicious. I usually do not like clam chowder but yours was so delicious. Can I have the recipe? Your resort was wonderful Seeing Haystack rock was just amazing outside out deck. Dory boats were amazing.
Can’t say anything bad

The location is excellent, with a great beach out front, a big dune to play on, nice hotel restaurants and a great brewery next door.
No free breakfast that I was aware of. The price was high, compared to other similarly situated hotels on the Oregon Coast..

Loved all the hooks everywhere! Why more hotels don't offer hooks amazes us. So simply, so helpful to living out of a bag. The room was nicely appointed, bed was very comfortable. Big thanks for a hot water kettle. As a tea drinker, tea with coffee flavoring sucks.
The seating on the balcony could be more comfortable. We used the blankets to soften the seat and back. The noise from upstairs was distracting. Sometimes sounded like a gym above us.
