Room quite clean and comfortable with comfortable bed (these factors are most important to me). Parking is free. Continental breakfast was adequate. No major complaints or issues with hotel staff. The total value for price paid was outstanding. If you expect 5-star accommodations, you will not be pleased. HOWEVER my stay was otherwise without incident. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Physical plant is somewhat dated. One elevator (of two) was undergoing maintenance. These things, while apparent, did not in any way affect the quality of my stay.

The reception personnel was courteous and helpful. The continental breakfast was fresh, tasty and necessary to start the day off. The rooms we're comfortable and clean.

Well, I have to say that we observed every day, since the very first day of our six day stay, the same stains on the table at the lobby and the plastic flowers on the table we're covered with dust. But, other than that, all was clean.

For a continental breakfast, it was good. Muffins, plain bagels, waffles and bread for toasting, cold cereal, orange juice, coffee (surprisingly decent). The staff was very nice, the room was very clean, bed comfortable, the bathroom had toiletries and plenty of towels, a fridge, microwave (both of which we used) and coffee maker. The decor was a bit dated, but that didn't really matter as it was just a one night stopover.

Hallways looked a bit shabby. I also paid too much (about $150) for the room, because when I looked at the price after my stay it was listed much lower!

Good selection of light breakfast foods. Very professional desk clerk. Clean. Quirky/interesting old building layout. Great parking deck in the back. Nice location-- close to a lot of places to eat dinner. Quiet.

A bit dimly lit, overall. The breakfast room was a bit too small. The food was on tables against one wall but there was not enough room to wait in line. And the seating area was very close to the food, so there was no real space to get away and eat. The hotel had been sold out the night before, so breakfast was a bit crowded.

The staff was so kind and friendly. I loved the location. It was a 12 minute walk to Stamford studios. It is close enough to everything downtown to walk. It's close to the train station, two giant shopping centers.

My room had a smell of water damage. The carpets clearly need to be changed. The breakfast variety was limited, but appreciated. Coffee is really all one needs.

the maids can be more aware of the amount of people in the room, and at the beginning my room neighbor complained about the noise and they were worse than we were and we never complaint. But over all it was good , thanks and keep up the good work.

The building is old, decor is old fashioned,, but my bed and bathroom were super clean. Nice continental breakfast. Very friendly staff. They accommodated my early check in too. It was very close to where I was moving my son in Port Chester. Train station is right there. Great restaurants and green areas less than 10 minutes walking! Can't beat the prices either. Would definitely return.

Hallways abd rooms smelled old, musty . I always pack my lysol, so problem resolved. Could use newer bedspreads. Clean room carpets more often.

Love the antique style of the hotel, went in my room see a vase of roses, breakfast table has flower vase as well, both looks real and sweet. Room is spacious, and clean, staffs are friendly. Bed is comfortable. Office space is quiet and classic.

More varieties can be provided for breakfast.

The location of the hotel is perfect, near to groceries, gas station, pharmacy and few minutes walking to the downtown of Stamford, CT. Train station is 1 mile away which is good opportunity for travel to NYC and other interesting places. The stuff is very polite and responsible.
