The staffs are very efficient, friendly, humble and always has the attitude of delivering the clients request. Even their concierge dog, Blake -is so friendly ❤️❤️❤️ They have a restaurant, and it’s a must thing to try. The food are so delicious at a very reasonable price. They even gave us 30%discount due from their soft opening and the next night a whopping 50% discount during Easter holiday. Ample place for parking.

We had our room at the second floor room number 22. The shower area has no shower door. Expect the bathroom to be all wet, after having a shower. But the room, since it’s located in the corner side of the building, you have an amazing view of the mountain and lake plus the pool area.

I booked the Superior King room and it had an amazing view of the pool and lake/mountain panorama. There was free parking. Pool could be used any time even during the night. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options and the staff was super friendly, you could tell they love doing their job. Thea area is very good as it's a short walk from the beautiful lake side, park and great restaurants. Very happy with the value this hotel provided and it exceeded expectations.

Corridors and some common areas were a bit worn down.

IT was everything perfect! 😊 The personal were very beautiful, kind and helpful… 😍 Our room was very nice, very clean, with all comfort we needed and with nice terrace. The parking was big! We may wish this hotel and this hospitality to everyone. Today is not so easy to find so much fun and so much good things in one place only! 😍

The place is charming, the rooms are very comfortable and well soundproof (there was a baby next door who I almost didn't noticed about). Thete ate dedicated parking spots. The staff is very kind and available. I had a massage that I highly recommend. It was a very good relaxing time. There are some trekking trails around, I went to Monte Piambello where the view is incredible, but that's a hard one, very steep, don't expect to do it with Children. My 3 nights stay was fabulous in Hotel Caroline. Gracie Mille!

the only thing that I didn't like was it was impossible to darken the room as the wodden shutters could not fully close and the curtains leave some light in.

Fantastic Hotel really enjoyed our stay all of the staff are so helpful nothing is too much trouble the receptionist even rang and booked a restaurant table for us - the hotel was lovely and clean the pool was really refreshing on a hot day and the hotel is in a peaceful spot and only a few minutes walk from the lake the breakfast was amazing too and you can get a coffee at anytime also iced lemon water plenty of free parking too

Inside was beautiful, staff extremely helpful and friendly.

It looked closed when we first approached. Inside is beautiful and clean. Breakfast items like scrambled eggs and croissants were out and not replaces at breakfast even though it was on for another 45 minutes.

The staff were ultra attentive. The pool was perfect and amazing after a 6hour motorbike journey in 35° heat. Good breakfast and a nice late check out so we could catch a little chill time by the pool this morning. Perfecto!

The place has a new owner, Lucy. She is really nice and authentic, sounds like she has good plans for this place. The town is gorgeous! The hotel is beautiful but needs a modern face lift, I would keep the vintage feel but definitely a lot of nice design potential. Practically speaking, everything you need is there and functions perfectly. Breakfast is really nice. Staff is really nice. Good amount of parking. Beautiful views. Only 3 rooms have a balcony and they were all occupied. But the pool is heated and open 24/7 so we had a midnight picnic there. Super romantic! Would def go back!

A bit outdated but I liked it

My stay was amazing with a great breakfast including delicous coffees made by the on-site barrista. The owners (Lucy and her husband) were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. They make you feel at home. The room was big enough for me (solo traveller) and the bed comfy. You have a beautiful view on the lake Lugano and it's only 10min walk from the hotel. The pool is nice in the afternoon after a hike or visiting around. I will recommend this hotel 100%!

In the future, it would be nice to have a cover parking because in summer is very hot in the cars if not in the shadow.

The staff were so lovely and really helpful with recommendations and would do anything they could to make your stay as good as possible.

Not easy to walk about the area, not many pavements.
