Really nice villa with stylish interior. We had a very relaxing stay! Our kids really enjoyed all the amenities including the playground and pool. Nice breakfast in the boutique hotel which is a short walk from the villa. The villa had a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of space. Nice hot shower and very clean. Would definitely recommend.
Unfortunately the coffee in the room wasn’t included. Also my daughter wasn’t able to use the top bunk on the bed as there was no safety barriers so she had to share the bottom bunk. Not ideal but for a short break it’s fine.

I had a fantastic stay at Onyria Quinta da Marinha Villas. The villa was incredibly comfortable, beautifully designed, and felt modern and spacious. It’s located within a gated community and resort with exceptional amenities, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy some privacy. We were just passing through for one night and I truly wish we could have stayed longer. I’m already planning to come back next time I’m in the area. The private outdoor space was another great touch, offering a peaceful spot to unwind. Highly recommend Onyria Quinta da Marinha Villas for anyone looking for a private, exceptionally comfortable, and spacious modern stay in a beautiful setting.
Our villa had a strong smell of bleach or chlorine when we arrived. It was bearable for a short stay, but it might be something to consider if you’re sensitive to strong cleaning scents. (Not sure if this is the case for all villas or just ours.) Also, it’s a large resort with multiple hotels on the property, so we got a little lost a couple of times before eventually finding the hotel for check-in.

We liked the setting of the villa, very peaceful amongst pine trees and a well sized villa for a group or family to have enough space. The villa had everything you needed to be self catering and make your own meals if needed. We were on holiday so we didn't want to cook and we had a lovely breakfast each day at the hotel and enjoyed meals out every evening in Cascais. The facilities were great if you wanted a swim although the outdoor pools are not heated so one was closed and the other to cold to use, so we used the indoor pool for 5 euro each a day. You have to time it though as it gets very busy. Kids play area was lovely and if you are a golfer it is perfect for 18 holes and a driving range. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. They have a free shuttle bus every day into cascais twice a day and collection to bring you back which again is another plus and we used this on our stay. Breakfast and bar food was excellent and great quality. We would definitely revisit in the summer months as we came in school half term October and the weather was lovely at 21 degrees but on cooler days you didn't feel the warmth of summer.
There wasn't anything we didn't like. Only a suggestion in the villas would be to have a welcome pack for guests the day they arrive. This could be a basket with milk, coffee, sugar, bread, butter, honey, jam, croissants. Just something on your first morning to start you off as we arrived late in evening so the next day we didn't have anything before breakfast for a drink or kids to have some toast or milk. The shower was blocked in our room and flooded the bathroom and bedroom which was quite stressful at 7.30am so I would recommend the cleaners test the showers when cleaning as a lot of my holdall with clothes in were soaked. This didn't spoil my stay just an observation and suggestion on both.

It was a great location, the staff was really nice and the breakfast very good (and so worth the price!). The pool area is great, and perfect for small kids. There are several restaurant options in the facilities.
Even though there were several restaurants, they didn't offer a lot of vegan/ vegetarian alternatives. They were also quite expensive. We stayed in the Villas, not in the actual hotel, and when we arrived the Villa that we got had broken glass in the front door, plus the Villa itself was not properly clean. After speaking in the reception we were moved to another location, and that was great. There was also some construction outise the hotel, so we didn't have water in 2 occasions, the staff was great and let us use an hotel room for a shower.

Lovely villa, inside looked exactly like the pictures and had everything we needed. I think a floor plan would be useful so people can see there is a shower room/toilet downstairs double bedroom downstairs and a single by the front door (with a bunk bed), open kitchen/seating/sofa etc and then a huge double upstairs).
The small bedroom wasn’t actually needed but I’d say it’s less useful as a bedroom and we used it as storage and would maybe be good for bigger children/teens. The outside area could maybe do with cleaning up a tiny bit.

Much improved services since April while they were still migrating in between hotels. I was really pleased with how fast staff attended to us when we needed matches or more wood for the fire or help with anything around the house. The playground was great for the kids and being able to use the facilities of the hotel is appreciated.
While the properties are nicely decorated and functional/modern there are a few key misses: there is no dishwasher, the A/C heating units were really loud and inefficient (the staff did offer for us to swap villas which we declined as we had already unpacked and settled in), and the exposure to the sun is minimal. This makes that the villas are very cold for a winter stay. The downstairs bathroom also smelled really strongly of pipes and/or humidity.

we liked the modern and minimal decor, big suite upstairs and closeness to the sea. the playground nearby is also a plus for families. we also liked the swimming pool despite there being a lot of confusion around which one we were allowed to use. would definitely come back once they have fully transitioned to boutique hotel and include more services (see below)
not super family friendly: no bathtub, no high chairs for kids (my toddler fell twice from the 3-legged stools), steep chairs upstairs and steps between kitchen and living room. the kids room is very small and the bunk bed not suitable for small kids. also not soundproof as we could hear the neighbours. no room service and breakfast/check in were super far away at the main Onyria hotel. cleaning only once a week I had to request it to be daily which they thankfully offered. little to no staff around, and reception sometimes wouldn’t pick up. this makes it overall lower value for money but I do hope they massively improve their service in the coming months as they transition. it needs to be clearer whether they’ll keep catering to families or focus on the older golfer segment.

Loved that we had a private villa yet could use the hotel facilities. The location was superb and the walk into Cascais was only 25 min so an ideal location too if you had no car. The grounds are lovely and the kids loved the park. The terrace was very nice, the kitchen facilities great. As the villas were on a ground with 2 very nice hotels, as guests also had the option to go for dinner in either of the hotels.
The second bedroom was very small and had no AC.

The villa was perfect for our family dynamic. The pool facilities were spot on for adults and children alike.
Signposted to the local supermarket from hotel staff would've been welcomed, however it was all ok in the end up with some exploration.

Perfect for a family, we had our own space and kitchen which was great to have with young children. The whole villa was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was fantastic!
The only thing was the room service was quite expensive for the quality of food that arrived. Everything else was great!
