The hotel is in a fantastic location - just a few steps from the many bars and restaurants of the Old Town and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. The room was a reasonable size for two. We had two single beds and a make-up table with a chair. Kettle and tea/coffee and lots of power points, There was a TV and minibar which we didn't use so I can't comment on the channels or content. The rainfall shower was nice and warm and the bathroom had all the ameneties you would expect. We had a large window that opened up to the main street which provided a nice breeze if the air-con was off for the winter. Breakfast was nice with a good choice of hot and cold food, but the room is quite small so can get a bit tight for space during busy times. The staff are all super friendly and seem very happy to help with any questions or provide assistance.

The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were too hard for me as I like feathers and the pillows provided were more like foam rubber, not a criticism, just a matter of preference. I don't know if the pillows could be swapped. There were only 2 hangers in the wardrobe but we took our own so not a problem, however, I'm sure more could be provided if requested. One thing to note, is that due to its great location, there is quite a bit of noise at the weekend with people returning home from the bars at all hours. This didn't bother me at all but may be an issue for light sleepers - especially with the window open.

The staff at check-in were knowledgeable and helpful. The decor in the hotel was modern and attractive. The location of the hotel, essentially in the pedestrian zone, was great.

There was no restaurant in the hotel for lunch and dinner but there are lots of restaurants in the area. The bar for hangers in the cupboard was so high that only a very tall basketball player could reach it. A mechanism to pull the bar down and out would help all the rest of us. The room was very small. It was alright for our 2 night stay but any longer and I would want a bigger room.

Superb location. Very comfortable bed. Hotel responded to requests re walk in shower rather than over bath very quickly and confirmed they had done it.

Carpets in the room were a bit tired and need replacing - quite a few stains. Rooms which are above the entrance - especially the first floor have a very bright street light outside and lights which change colour above the hotel doorway. As the curtains are not blackout and don't reach all the way across the window the room was never dark.

The property is very nice and modern, and the rooms are very well equipped and have comfortable beds and nice modern bathrooms. The location is great because it is right on the edge of Nice’s old town, but still on a street that allows taxis to pick you up when you need to go to the airport. (this is important!) The staff was very helpful and gave recommendations for restaurants. Additionally they were there 24/7 at the front desk, which is very nice to have when you’re traveling. I would absolutely stay here again and I would recommend it to any friends and family. In fact I will be back to Nice and so I will be staying here again! :)

The private beach was fantastic. Very friendly staff at the hotel and beach. Get there early though! We got the last beach chairs at 11:45. Perfect location right on the Main Street. Parking nearby. Air conditioned. The beach and location made up for the negatives. Would definitely stay again.

Room was a bit small. The weirdest thing was the hair dryer. It was old school and had no power and very little heat. It was of attached to the wall and turned on when I took it off. It had this big tube connecting it and it was like a pleasant warm breeze. I called down to see if they had a real one and they said they didn’t have it “anymore.” Like, they had one? And got rid of it? Weird. But a little thing like that can be important when you want to look nice in vacation. Anyway, these weren’t enough to keep me from staying there again.

Check in was easy and staff were great. Location is perfect right on the main strip in Nice. Room was clean and overall great. Toiletries were good and asked for an iron which was promptly brought up to the room

The room was a little small and seemed slightly dated, but the bed was comfy and updated. The route to get to my room was a little awkward but not a big deal. The hotel charges 28 euros to use the beach, and only takes cash, which I think is a bit too much. Since we pay a good amount for the room I think the beach should be free or a lot less, and perhaps can make it up when guests buy drinks, snacks etc. on the beach. Breakfast was not included, but for 19 euros I chose to go to a nice organic cafe in the square with a better view and food. I think they should reduce the price or just include the breakfast to make guests want it.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was super clean. Great value for money. Fantastic location- 2 minutes to the beach and 2 minutes from the wonderful market area. About 20 minute easy walk to the train station.

Not enough milk in the room. We had a room on the first floor at the back of the hotel right above the door so we had changing colour spotlights shining into our room most of the night! Just need better curtains. It was a minor issue, we would stay here again for sure.

Real hotel hospitality - professional staff, actual service, comfortable room. Was a very nice change from modern, generic accommodation. Hotel was excellent value for money.

Shower over bathtub but only a slight inconvenience rather than a big deal. The hotel furniture is a little worn and out of date but the value for money and service makes up for any of these minor issues. What was unpleasant for us was the tabacco stink pervading the hall from the lift to the lobby - because of smokers directly outside the doors. Would definitely stay again.

Very central location, however, can be noisy due to late party folks.

Very limited space for cloths and suitcase, hotel bar not very inviting! Staff at reception friendly but not sharing much information on arrival, e.g. use of beach facility with the same name, bit run by different people. We didn‘t get any information/advice in advance by the receptionist re reserving a beach sun and ticket booking with hotel discount via reception was not recommended to us at all. Room carpet did not look hygienic at all - room floor needs an upgrade (not **** like)!

Reception always welcoming and professional - nice atmosphere on entry. Room was excellent - clean, sufficient wardrobe space, excellent bathroom facilities - relaxing and air conditioning effective. Cleaners were polite, good at their job and always cheery - towels were always fresh. The location is perfect.

I didnt have the breakfast - personal choice, Minor thing, but a biscuit to go with the tea/coffee always goes down well after a long journey.
