Breakfast choices were excellent, swimming pool and sunbeds were very good. Accommodation was very comfortable. The views were absolutely amazing.

The pub noise on Friday night is very noisy, especially as there were bands and singers there til midnight, then a lot of the people moved to the bar at the bottom of the yatch, think its called Viceroys?? Maybe put a night comfort pack in the rooms, consisting of earplugs and eye mask. Didn't like the glass wardrobes opening both sides, in the bathroom and the bedroom. Some things should be kept private!!

Room had an excellent views and the location was great. Central to the main places to visit The bathroom was excellent- a lovely shower - just as we like it

Room 640 was a level below the gym. We were woken in a morning by a lot of banging from above ie sounded like medicine balls being dropped on the floor. We did tell the lady on reception about this when we checked out When we return again, we will remember to ask for a different floor We ate out for breakfast - mainly to try local places. I don't eat a lot of breakfast , so felt that paying £18 was not really value for money

Pre-paid parking with my name on it was one of the best features of our trip to Gibraltar. The restaurant was delightful, and we had our dinners on the ship. Our server Souren was great! Always taking care of our orders and drinks. Spa was ok for my massage. But it was not very convenient for sauna , according to my husband (towels were not available, water was not offered, no rest area). Our bed was very comfortable with high quality linens.

It was not easy to find the narrow street - the only way to drive up to the hotel. We suggest putting more signs on the main street.

We booked a superior sea and runway view room with seated balcony. The views and room were amazing. The service from start to end was impressive. We had complimentary drinks for our anniversary. That was a nice surprise. I loved all the gadgets and as a Rituals Spa fan, I felt at home. If you want the extra little touch to everything, then definitely book here. Far too many to mention here. The location was great for accessibility for dining options, and travel. Staff were very friendly. Requests were met within 5 to 10 minutes. I loved using their app. Very useful and efficient. For the price you pay per night, you would expect breakfast to be included. The food was nice, however the cheesecake was tasteless and the waiter and chef were not really interested about that. Plenty of places around to eat. Had a massage which was great. Pool was small and busy so just used the loungers for awhile. Amazing sunset views from the top deck facing the sea. The people in Gibraltar are the nicest, kindest and helpful people. Thank you to the reception team, spa team, cleaners, bar staff, and maintenance chap. I would definitely stay there again.

The location is great, as is food and the waiters and waitresses. A big shout out to Saskia who was super helpful in helping us with our itinerary and Mohammad who was also very helpful. They were both part of the breakfast crew.

The room was tired. I would have expected more from a 5-star establishment. We had a broken door on our wardrobe so could not open it properly.

The location of the hotel/ship was ideal. In the centre of the marina with plenty of restaurants and bars, and only a short walk into the main square bus station and High Street.

The only down side to the stay, was that the windows all over the hotel on the outside were very dirty and desperately needed cleaning. Being in a strange room. at night a light was needed to see your to the bathroom. The only light available was the light from the toilet which was very bright and without a door on the bathroom was disturbing.

Staff are exceptional, most helpful, attentive & sort problems efficiently and quickly. Location is excellent. Very glam & fun to stay here. Love the gentle wave noise as you walk the corridors! Lovely toiletries in the room. Bedlinen excellent.

Our preference but didn't like the toilet being open in the bathroom. Wouldn't bother lots of people, but it did us! My bed squeeked. Complicated for elderly to use phone to do all functions in the room! Ours went wrong, although rectified swiftly. Bathroom toilet was smelly & a few not spotless aspects I'd have expected with covid 19. Difficult to have two large suitcases in the room, tight for space. Could hear noise from nearby bars in the early hours, but not the fault of the hotel. Could have done with two chairs, however not the space! Unfortunately could hear above us walking!

I would definitely recommend going here. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I was in a deluxe room was amazing, clean and everything you need at hand. Close to pubs, bar, and restaurants, and if you want to use the pool and restaurant you will not be disappointed. I will be returning in the future.

My family and I stayed at The Sunborn Gibraltar for New Year.We were met in the reception area with a glass of wine on arrival.All the staff from the management to the cleaning staff were very friendly and professional.Our room was spotless and very comfortable.

I felt the breakfast, although lots of choice Was a little overpriced.This was my only criticism of The Sunborn.I would highly recommend a stay there whenever you visit Gibraltar.

Check in was excellent. Very friendly staff, ready to assist with everything. The room was exquisite. We had an excellent view and were more than happy with the room in general. The bed was very comfortable, and we wished we could stay longer. Mohammed at the restaurant gave us the best dining experience we have ever had. The food was excellent, but his attentiveness was over the top

Unfortunately, the 6th floor rooms are underneath the restaurant. We were woken up by the vacuuming up above at 5 am. or earlier. So, if possible, ask for a lower floor.9
