The location was great. It was walking distance to the pier or a 1 minute drive. There was a restaurant close by and a super market too which was extremely convenient, legit a 5 minute walk. The gentleman in the office was extremely nice and accommodating to anything we needed and asked for. The first night he turned on the fire pit for my girlfriend and I.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the hair dryer didn’t work. The cable looked like it was cut so it couldn’t connect to the outlet BUT the gentleman in the office gave us a temporary one so we could use during our stay and he said that we was going to fix that issue.

could have been better all stores close between 3-5pm the supermarket close by is more like an extended version of a 7-11 very limited. If you want something to eat after 5 you have 4 choices 1st night we ate a schooners, not worth the price. Hidden kitchen was delicious only wish they stayed open longer. Sea Shanty has great food reasonably price, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very friendly staff! If you’re looking for any type of fast food you’ll have to travel to the adjacent towns which isn’t to far. Have to swing by DUCKIES for an amazing bowl of chowder! if you’re looking for coffee HONEY GIRL CAFE AND LUNA COFFEE BAR have both delicious coffee and food options. All in all we had a very relax time

The kitchen suite was ideal for our extended stay while visiting family in Cayucos. We appreciated having the option of using the kitchen or visiting restaurants in easy walking distance. Bed was comfortable, hot shower and location was ideal. One block to the beach, Laundromart next door, suoermarket close by, and an easy walk into town. Management and staff were very helpful. We look forward to staying again on our next visit.

The Beachwalker was perfect for our needs.

The queen suite was very clean and comfortable and met our needs for three nights. The coffee machine made one strong cup of coffee at a time. There were two televisions in the suite and it was equipped with a small refrigerator, a two burner heating plate, dishes, and kitchen utensils.

One of the television remotes did not work very well. Additionally, we must have had a miscommunication with the maid because she came in one morning to replace the coffee pot that was not working properly and although she gave us towels for the day she never returned to clean the room after we left.

Location was walking distance to everything. Room was a great value for the money in comparison to those located close by. The room was clean and had all of the basic amenities (soap, shampoo, towels, fridge, microwave). Staff was very friendly and accommodating. For the price I would say it was well worth it and overall met our expectations.

Walls were fairly thin and non insulated so your fellow neighbors could be clearly heard as if they were in your room. There was no outdoor seating area if you wanted to eat outside and our room had no balcony so no where really to sit and eat as our room had no table other than the desk to eat at. Bed was very squeaky so moving around, sitting on it, etc, was quite noisy.

I liked that this property—at least some rooms—had a little kitchenette. We put it to good use. Further, the place was clean and they used dove soap which I think is pretty awesome. The gentleman at the front desk is a very nice man. I had no issues with him and he was always willing to help. I would 100% stay here again. For the price, it really is worth the stay.

My fireplace didn’t seem to work. Pilot light stayed on, but when we switched the fireplace on and let it sit for a while nothing happened

My family and I have been coming here for years! Such a cute little comfortable place. A quick walk down the street to the beach is absolutely gorgeous (I will always recommend checking out some of the cute antique shops on ocean Ave). The cleaning staff is very gracious and attentive and the owners are so kind. The kitchenette room is convenient and has most of the must haves such as plates bowls and utensils. The AC in the rooms works better than great and the showers are clean and roomy. This hotel will forever be our go-to when vacationing in Cayucos!

They used to offer free continental breakfast and never brought it back after Covid, we would love to see that again!

I really liked the screen and the big window covering in both windows. In the bedroom, it made it pitch dark which was so nice for sleeping. The front window in the living space was great to keep my dogs from seeing people walk by because then they were barking. The cleaning staff could have mopped the floors. I guess they only vacuumed but a good swish with at least a damp towel or better yet, a steamer would have been helpful because the floors were dirty. . Another suggestion, it would have been nice to have another seat that wasn’t a hard chair. One loveseat was enough for me, but when my friend came to my room, it would have been nice to have more places to sit that was comfortable. Great price for the room though. Pet fee was kind of high for two well behaved dogs, but I get it.

Hooks in the bathrooms would have been great. I don’t like having to put clean towels I’m going to use on my face on the bathroom counter. There was a metal stand for the bed which was easy to kick at night which made a big ‘gong’ sound. So I tried not to kick it in the middle of the night. Other than that, it was a nice room.

I hadn't stayed at The Beachwalker for many years and was pleasantly surprised to see that it has been upgraded. Nothing fancy, but my suite was spacious and well thought out. Cleaning staff is excellent - the true test being whether the dog sniffs around when he walks into the room. He did not.

They're doing a really good job at keeping things up, but my room needed some attention here and there (walls need some patching and paint).

The clean room, the clean bed with new like bedsheets! It is very important to me that i get a clean and comfortable bed! The front desk personal is very nice, and they made sure that I got a room on the ground floor (physical isuess) plus a room to my liking. Clean lady, Matilda is exceptional. She made sure that my room and bed is clean. I am staying for a few days in a room with a kitchenette! The price / value is exactly what I expect!
