The hostess was wonderful! She gave us suggestions for what to see and do in the area, and invited us to an evening fire with friendly conversations with the small group gathered by the fire.

On our second night there were a couple of girls next door who were very noisy well past 10pm. We knocked 3 different times to get them to quiet down, but their quiet didn’t last…Thank goodness they were there only one night.

The woman at the front desk who I believe also does the housekeeping went above and beyond to have our room ready early so that we could make it to a wedding that started at 2:30! We had also had to book a different room for the second night since the same one was already booked, but they did a great job of making the transition from one room to the next seamless for us. She also helped my mother-in-law get my son’s stroller up the stairs when she saw her struggling with it. I was so grateful for this high degree of hospitality especially when traveling with a baby and an older family member. Also, the kitchen in the Lighthouse Suite was small but well appointed with everything you need to cook and serve basic meals. Great for a family especially to save some money by cooking some of our own meals. The two room set-up, though cramped, was also nice for a bit more privacy when traveling with extended family. Kitschy decor in the Nautical Nelly room was unique! And if you brought your own firewood or Duraflame, it looked like they had a little place in the front where you could have your own campfire.

Definitely an older property. The Lighthouse suite was very bland in terms of decor (not really any) with super dated, ugly bedspreads (Just new bedspreads would make the place so much nicer! Maybe throw a mirror or basic ocean picture on the wall so there’s something to look at?). The summer weekend price is pretty astronomical considering what you get, but it’s all about the location I suppose and was still the cheapest we found. The weekday prices were better. One bed in the Lighthouse sweet was not the most comfortable. Not the worst, but definitely not the greatest either. The other ones in the Nautical Nelly room were better-ish.

Walking distance to beach, multiple choices for food & supplies & a great big thrift store nearby to peruse for treasures. The hotel is super cute, each room has a cute nautical name, there’s a lovely mural & a picnic “garden” area. They have a nice rare 11-12 checkout time, as well, giving you plenty of morning beach &/or breakfast time. The in-room coffee was delicious. Had a working fridge & microwave.

The room is very small, the bathroom is very small. The walls are a bit thin-we could hear other guests’ tvs, etc. The bedding in the tiny extra bedroom was dusty & hair was on the pillow, so I don’t think it had been changed out in awhile.

These rooms are special, unique and loved. The owner/manager has taken the time to provide a clean comfortable space with all sorts of special touches. Maybe her customers do not appreciate what she has done, but as a long term traveler I definitely noticed. I did stay here more than once, so it wasn't a fluke!!

The parking. It's beach type parking and that just is what it is, but I am not the greatest driver on the planet so these tight or odd spaces just stress me out. I doubt that anyone else even noticed.

The woman at the counter was exceptionally nice. She made us feel very welcome and told us plenty of facts of the area The room was very clean and smelled very nice. Even the towels smelled nice, You can tell it's an older motel, but it has character. The location is perfect, it's a min walk from the beach. We had a (simple) Western themed room.

The tv wasn't working that well, but who cares. The walls maybe thin, but we didn't hear a thing.

It was a clean and quaint motel located within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops.

The bed pillows were very flat, only 2 per bed. 4 pillows per bed would make it a little more comfortable. Also, more counter space in the bathroom would be nice. There’s no ice machine, but the staff went out of her way to provide ice for our stay.

Location was great! Close to town, beach and pier. Staff was super friendly. Room was very clean. Very quiet motel. Excellent price. Nothing fancy but it works.

Even though they say you get wifi, there are some rooms that dont get it. Unfortunately, I was in one of those rooms. Room #10. I also think they could do some updating in the rooms, modern bedspreads, wall decor, bathroom, bigger TV but it was nice.

If you want a clean room that's very comfortable, this is the place. You're not going to get luxury, but then you're not paying an arm and a leg either. The location is awesome. The staff was very friendly and the decor was cute. Parking was great too. I'm extremely satisfied with my stay. I'll definitely book here again.

No hair dryer and no DVD player.

The location was perfect and everything I needed was provided and it was really quiet and clean.

The fridge was in a closet next to the bed and I had to unplug it so I could sleep because it was noisy. But other than that, all was good.
