Location is excellent… property was very clean with modern decor. It was difficult to even find a speck of dust on anything at all. We appreciated the nightstand next to each side of the bed, outlets, and mirrors/lighting. Parking was convenient and didn’t seem to be an issue to get something close to the room.

Noise from other rooms…. You can hear every cough, sneeze, and movement from others around. I understand it is an old property, but investing in better insulation might make a big difference. The beds have a metal frame underneath that make a very loud noise if you even slightly touch them.

This hotel just opened and you can tell! The building looks like it was just built and the rooms look even better than new. The front desk agent was super knowledgeable and friendly, he told us about all the local spots and best places to eat. We did not expect we could literally walk to everything, we parked our car and then never used it again. The rooms feel like you are staying at a 4 or 5-star hotel and all the amenities are super nice, like nothing was overlooked with any corners cut. Will be definitely coming back!

This was by far the best hotel I have stayed at while in Morro Bay. The room had everything we needed and was laid out and designed as actual people would use. The plugs all had USB ports and were in every location you could possibly need one. The best of all was the crown light that acted as a mood light in the room. I have never seen this done before and it is absolutely beautiful. This is now our go-to place in Morro Bay. Well done team at Blufftop, you outdid everyone!!

The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The location was close to everything which was nice to be able to walk to restaurants & stores. The bathroom was very pretty! The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and friendly. Every time we saw him he would ask if we needed anything for our rooms which was very nice to have such great service!

Blufftop Inn is amazing: extremely clean, cosy, brand new furniture, the mirror in the bathroom is wonderful, you can dim it and even set different levels of brightness😀 - ideal for doing your make-up. Ideally situated right opposite to Carla’s kitchen with great breakfast offers. The young man at check-in was very polite and helpful. We would always choose this Motel again!

This hotel is perfectly situated close to the beach, restaurants and bars! In the morning, me and my hubby were able to walk down to the Embarcadero and have breakfast and in the evening we went up to Siren. All within walking distance! The rooms also look very new and modern. Staff was very friendly and the check in process was quick and easy! We'll be back!!

Very clean, and updated! Super close to everything making it a perfect location. Front desk service was great, and we loved all the recommendations. Can’t wait to be back!

People slamming doors, but everything else was perfect.

Came on a couples trip with my best friend and her husband and we could not have picked a better hotel!! The rooms were insta-worthy and so so clean. Everyone was really nice and provided great recommendations for restaurants and bars we could walk to. They had a cute photo op in the office as well!

Long story, but it was late when we rolled into Morro Bay, stressed and exhausted. The guy at the front desk stayed late for us to arrive and was super nice. Park the car (free parking and accommodated our huge SUV), load into room. Wow. Super clean, brand new renovated. I was kind of blown away as the outside seemed sort of whatever. Turn on the TV, hotel channel, and we're serenaded by Aretha Franklin singing Call Me. It was exactly what I needed. Hot shower, excellent water pressure. Comfortable bed with big plush pillows. Perfect. Hotel is also in a great location. Walk down the road towards the water: turn left, walk into town with plenty of restaurants and shops; turn right, there's a diner, an old maritime museum, that big rock thing, and a beautiful beach. Great little hotel. Great little town. I'll definitely be back.

I loved that it was plank flooring and not carpet! the beds were very comfortable and the shower was awesome!

I don’t have anything negative to say. Everything was great!
