location great, walk or short drive to many shops, food. Rooms are spacious, Clean, comfortable bed, large shower, small refrigerator, microwave, fireplace, tv. Very nice views from our downstairs rooms . Nice outside firepit lit at night, cozy

lighting in our three rooms were a bit quirky. Dim and or flickering. The coffee maker (not for big hands) . Pot like a teapot. Maybe French type style coffee maker. We had brought coffee maker from home. Not all our rooms had a light above the coffee maker, microwave area. The large glass showers (not the ADA ones) did not have any bars to hang wet items on or to assist a little getting in or out. The flat smooth rock flooring in shower made you move or step with caution. Breakfast of some kind would be nice. Restarants near by tho.

The Hotel: location is perfect, as it's a simple 1-2 minute walk to the shops/restaurants & about a 30-45 minute walk to the state park/beach. The view from the hotel is amazing during the day. The staff was very friendly and even called to check in on me when I was running late. I loved the fireplace in the room. It was so cozy, and perfectly warmed up warmed up the room during my chilly fall stay. The town: The town is just beautiful and everyone was friendly. It's very walkable, but there is lots of free parking if you prefer to drive around. There are many antique shops and cute stores to find unique treasures to bring home. It's a good place for all ages, but most places close early so it might not be for you, if you're looking for something with more of a nightlife. The food was excellent everywhere I went. In particular loved the French Dips at Haufbrau, the acai bowls at Goddess Goods, and the breakfast sandwich at Buttercup Cafe. My friends went to Kickers and said it was really good as well. If you are vegan, I saw several vegan restaurants, but I didn't have the chance to try them.

Almost everything closes at 8pm or earlier. It is very dark at night, so it was a bit scary driving at night.

I stayed for 5 nights and room location had a wonderful unobstructed view of Morro Rock. Sunset view was exceptional! During the week the other guests at the property were nice and quiet making a peaceful environment for rest and relaxation. I could hear the distant sea lions barking and a foghorn at night, which was calming. By the end of my stay I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you to all of the staff at The Landing at Morro Bay - your friendliness and attentiveness were greatly appreciated! I will most definitely stay at The Landing again!

Great location near cafes and restaurants; very helpful and friendly reception staff, fast communication via the Booking app message platform; the room, bathroom, and beds were clean and comfortable; and the open view design of the room allows one to soak in full views of the sea and Morro Rock. There’s also free water, coffee, and tea at the reception!

Onsite parking can be quite limited - we couldn’t find a parking lot as we arrived in the evening, and it was only because the reception staff offered to move their car out of a lot that we managed to park ours. The open view design is great but not sure if it could be a security issue since presumably the floor-to-ceiling windows facing the corridor could be broken to gain access to the room. The shades are not quite light blocking and there was also no shade for the small window at the back, such that the morning sun shone right into the room. The reception also closes after 8pm I believe, so one can’t access the drinking water after that!

Fabulous position, we had a large room on 2nd floor with great views of the rock and the sea. The room was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need, including comfy beds and bedding, fridge, microwave, coffee making, good shower, nice bathroom products and a fireplace (which we didn't need at this time of year). Highly recommend, could have stayed much longer.

The coffee machine in Reception wasn't working but not a big problem because we were still able to make drinks in our room.

Room was updated and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Property was very quiet. Loved the latte machine in the lobby. Room had a view of the rock which was lovely. The Fireplace in the room was a nice bonus as well.

The TV in our room was not working which wasn't a huge deal. The staff did try to fix it but still we were unable to use. Loved the latte machine in the lobby but would have loved some way to have tea or coffee in the room as the lobby doesn't open til 7:00am. There was one small window looking out over the sidewalk which did not have a window covering on it.

Location of The Landing was great close to sea front and all amenities, had a lovely view from our second floor room and the rooms were a great size.

The room was cold and took a long time for the heater to warm it up and no heating in bathroom so was freezing when had a shower. Insulation between rooms was poor as you could here next doors conversations through the wall. No coffee provision as promised when checked out as the machine was broken.

Amazing customer service and Beautiful location with view of the rock. We were there for my 40th Birthday in August and they even had a Birthday card for me. We would definitley stay again.

The only negative was that the in room fireplace did not seem to work and the window coverings do not totally block the windows from light or the ability to see into the room as you walk by. There is also not an elevator so you have to carry luggage up stairs, but that is not at all a deal breaker for me.

Location is great and the overall feel of the place.

We waited almost 2 hrs for the room to be cleaned eventhough we arrived at check in time. The room was not ready and we had traveled over 4 hrs we were ready to get in our room. If check in time is 3 pm why are the rooms not ready by that time. If we had waited a half hour it would have been tolerable but almost 2 hrs was very frustrating

Location is excellent. Walking distance to the water, restaurants, and shops and short driving distance to the beach. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. Extra friendly staff. They have us extra blankets when needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Morro Bay.

Wish there was some breakfast options, but the morning coffee bar was a nice touch.
