We have stayed here a number of times over the years but this was the 1st time we had booked the delux room above reception so it was a bit more pricey but worth it for us - no adjoining rooms so no chance of noise evenings / early mornings. Main large bedroom, separate ante room with 2 armchairs, patio doors and a balcony, separate kitchen / bathroom area. Very pleasant staff, clean rooms, TV, microwave and fridge all working fine, lovely soft pillow for sleeping as well as the usual big ones. Windows face the rock and the sea so you get the sunset. Easy walk down to the front and on to the rock.

The only little thing is that personally I prefer a bath rather than a shower but although there was one, it didn't have a plug or the type of plughole that allowed you to put in your own. The shower worked fine, plenty of hot water.

The room was clean, the coffee in the room was delicious, my girlfriend and I liked that the sink and mirror was separate from the bathroom. The fridge and coffee make worked just fine. The room was spacious and well furnished with a table and chairs and an actual closet.

The AC worked but we both wished it had a lower setting because it got a bit warm at times. I liked the king sized bed but my girl friend thought it was a bit too firm. We got the room with a view and even though we could see the Morro Bay rock a good part of it was obstructed by the buildings in front of the view.

We like a family run operation rather than a chain. We book this particular room, although a bit pricey, as we know it will be a quiet one as is above reception without neighbours either side. Room was clean and quiet. Fridge and microwave. View (just!) of the sea (beyond the carwash) and the rock at sunset. Balcony. Separate room with a couple of armchairs.

My only gripe is that there is no working plug on the bath so you have to improvise if you want a soak.

Overall a good experience. Friendly staff. Conveniently located close to all Morro Bay attractions, the Embarcadero. downtown, restaurants and coffee shops.

Well, we decided to stay in the deluxe King Rm w/balcony and it just didn’t feel the value was equal to the rm. It was much smaller and the room was very basic. No extra amenities for a deluxe King Rm very under whelming. Not sure we would stay again if other hotels had vacancies.

Office staff Jenny and Justin were very nice, pleasant and helpful at check-in. We got there early and was allowed to check in at 10am. Araceli cleaned and had the room in perfect condition. 2 Queen beds are were firm and comfortable. No bed bugs. Sheets and towels were pure white and clean. The 3 pillows per bed were amazing pillows. Best pillows I have ever had at a hotel. Location was perfect. Just up the hill from Embarcadero St. Food, shopping and other shops just around the corner. I would DEFINATLY be back when i visit Morro Bay again.

The only thing that could have made my stay better would have been and TV channel guide. clicking thru all the channels to find the news channel we want was kind of a pain. A printed laminated list would have been great.

The location was great. Very close the bay & seafood restaurants and also close to main street Morro Bay, where we browsed thru shops in that area

Unfortunately, since it is close to the bay, we could hear seagulls on the roof during the night. They were pretty noisy.

Location and very friendly staff. The rooms are very clean.

I had a bottom floor room and people above me were moving things around late at night and making loud banging noises. I called the office the second night and they took care of it.

The front office lady was friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfotable. It's very closed to the embarcadero. The price was reasonable. Great location!

The air conditioner gave us some problems.

I used Booking to book my stay. Upon arrival I was told (correctly) that my stay was for the following day. Pre-paid no cancellations / changes allowed. The receptionist made a phone call and was so nice to make the change at no charge.

Location is perfect!! Room was spacious and clean. Hair dryer was nice!

The body soap And shampoo dispenser. Just bring your own body wash or your own bar of soap. The one they have leaves you feelings slimy like it never washes off.
