Perfect for a small family of 4. My kids are young so a queen bed was perfect for them to share. Close distance to walk anywhere for shopping and eating right next to the bay. Even if u don't have the "bay view" room, it is an open outdoor hallway so you can still see the beautiful Morro Rock. Easy to use amenities.

The tv was a bit difficult to navigate. Previous visitors didn't clear their streaming log-ins. This is NOT on the business fault. The mini fridge was buzzing loudly. We were next to the stair, so it was a little loud.

We love Morro Bay & It’s rare for us to find a place to stay in Morro Bay. When we go to MB annually, we stay at the State Campground to meet with family and enjoy camping. Bay View Inn exceeds our expectations! The place is very clean and our beds were very comfortable! We hope when we need a place to stay in MB, they’ll have rooms available.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Looks like they recently renovated. Everything was clean and new including LED bulbs. New carpet, new mattresses. Beds were very comfortable. TV worked great.

The inn format being open to outside means you're here. Everybody walking by bouncing on the ground, walking up the stairs, etc. The tub drained very slowly. The screen was missing in the bathroom window.

loved this hotel!! ive stayed in about every hotel in morro bay since i was a kid until now and this has got to be the best hotel ive stayed in ever!! so close to embarcadero shops and the rock just down the block!! loved this getaway with my boyfriend. no complaints!!

the parking lot is a bit just first come first served, barely enough spots for everyone staying and spots are about as big as a small car so if youve got a bigger suv,, id stay somewhere else. or if you want a good spot, park your car and dont drive anywhere your whole stay

We had a fantastic corner room on the second floor with a view of the Rock and sea lions. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a relaxing night on a comfortable bed. We will stay here again.

Unfortunately we had trouble with our TV. When we checked in the TV worked great but the next morning it kept freezing. So we just turned it off. We didn't call for service because we were packing up to leave.

The room was clean and nice. Beds and pillows were super comfy. The set up of the room was super spacious, and we were able to organize all our stuff for our weekend stay.

The room smelled like smoke once you opened the door. We had to buy a candle just to counteract the smell.

Firstly Morro Bay in outstanding if you have any interest in nature or wildlife. This motel was so wonderfully placed so close to the bar and harbour. The room was so big. It had a microwave and a fridge which was really useful for me. It also has a simple yet great coffee machine so I didn't need to go out before showering. I could make a good coffee whilst getting ready. There was a good table and two chairs so you could easily eat in your room. Little bonuses were the wonderful aloe vera cream in the bathroom. The family who run the hotel are really kind and friendly.

I loved being right next to the ocean, and the room was very secluded and secure. We saw lots of wildlife on our trip. It felt very safe and clean.

I did not like that our room was directly next to the smoking section. I wish there was a hand towel rail.

This is a lovely place to stay. It’s only a one block downhill walk from the Embarcadero so very convenient to shopping, restaurants, the wharf. Couldn’t be beat. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is small but very clean and nicely appointed.

We had awful loud, rude neighbors in the room next door. Loud music, smoking pot everywhere, playing frisbee in the parking lot at 10pm. But that had nothing to do with the hotel at all. Just soured the experience for us a little bit.
