Ok I have stayed at morro bay for years. Every motel u can think of. I got to say this motel is the best by far. First the staff. Super great and amazing guy . Really respectful and nice. We got the family suite. The beds was so amazing and great. Love the atmosphere and the lay out. The beds was some of the most comfortable beds I ever laid in. Beautiful view. My truck was parked on the street with stuff in the back . Nothing was stolen I seen the worker checking out side making sure nobody was messing around. Over all great amazing stay.i will always use this one when I go back

Ok the living room needs a softer couch. There is a hard wood that goes right into your back. And it needs a trash can by the intree so we can throw away our own trash. That's it lol.

The staff was very nice and provided the extra towels and blanket we requested. Great location and affordable price. It was quiet at night for sleeping even though all the rooms were occupied. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

There are no comfortable chairs or a sofa to sit on even thought the rooms are large enough to provide them. Floating open shelves are needed to place clothing because free standing dressers are not provided. Bath windows need a screen so it can be opened for fresh air. The air-conditioning/heating unit is very noisy.

The location and the price were wonderful. Good customer service. I stayed 2 nights and 3 days. I got see the area well. Room has a mini refrigerator, microwave, Cable TV, and ac/heating unit. Free parking. I was able to walk to restaurants, stores, and Morro Rock/beach area. Great location to drive to near by towns---everything is near---Caycous (12 minutes), Cambria, San Simeon Pier/Hearst Castle (34 minutes), and SLO (18 minutes). Albertsons is just a 4 minutes drive in case you need to buy any miscellaneous item. Gas stations near by.

The mattress was extra firm, so the bed was hard. A few nicks, dings, scratches here or there on fixtures and wall, but overall room is big, clean, and nice. Shampoo, conditioner, and body was are not good; bring your own. Albertsons grocery store is just 4 minute drive to go buy some if you like. (Great location.) Safe location, price very well, and location is wonderful. I would stay again.

I liked the size of the room they put us in, and I was very happy to find a good sized and refrigerator to hold a half gallon of milk and a quart of creamer, as well as a little freezer section, and a coffee maker with plenty of regular coffee. The windows were good for a nice breeze, and the double curtains were great. We had privacy but could see out of the semi sheer white curtains behind the heavy dark curtains. The pillows were comfortable and thick versus other hotel pillows that aren't. The bedding had good layers: crisp clean sheets; a warm thick blanket (not one of those thick sheets other places try to pass off as a blanket, and and comforter was nice and comfy, all together it was a good combination of bedding and it kept us warm and comfy. Management were very friendly, and accommodating in a couple of ways. We had a flat tire and ended up checking out about an hour later than normal, but the woman was understanding of our dilemma and didn't charge us a late check out fee. Also, the hotel was renovating/replacing the air conditioning in all of the the king size bed rooms so we didn't get the room we reserved, but the queen size bed room was very nice. Lastly, they had to shut the water off for about 30 minutes and they gave us about a 30 minute notice. When the gentleman let us know he asked if we needed anything and brought us several packs of coffee, extra towels and a roll of toilet paper, which was very nice. We didn't need to ask for anything during our stay (except for their understanding regarding our late check out). We had a very small view of Morrow Rock, which was nice since we were unable to book a room on the Embarcadero, but it was only three blocks away, so the location is good. We booked this hotel room, because it was listed at a reasonable rate on Priceline. If Coastal Breeze continues to offer room rates at $86/night and low site fees of $25, we'll definitely book here again.

The bed was very hard. We didn't get the king size room we ordered due to repairs or construction on the air conditioning unit, but they gave us a very nice queen size room with a refrigerator and coffee maker so that wasn't a problem. I only added that because I wanted to write three sentences.

Easy central location. Eateries and local stores down the way. Safe. Well lit. Also has an old school tolerable smell. Bed was super comfortable and it was all very very clean. Needs hand soap. Overall good overnight stay.

Remodeled buildings , nothing you can do about thin walls. You can hear mumbles of what goes on next door. I am not a light sleeper so it did not bother me.

Big Comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower. Lots of TV channels.

Thin walls. Could hear the older couple next door talking and their laptop computer making noises while they were playing computer solitaire. Not sure if the sheets were fresh, smelled a woman’s perfume on 2 of the 4 pillow cases.

Room was big and clean, bed was comfortable, location was great-walking distance to everywhere in Morrow Bay if you are not lazy and enjoy walking. Farmers market was cool, music venue right next door.

I do love a pool and jacuzzi, no pool or jacuzzi. For the price it was great.

The room was super clean and had just been renovated. Bed linnen and towels felt brand new. There were lots of places to go eat on walking distance of the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately the walls seemed not isolated which resulted in some noise disturbances from the next rooms and outside.

Coastal breeze is always a great choice. They're not too expensive and the rooms are always clean and the staff is always nice. And it's in a really good location, close to shopping and entertainment and the bars/restaurants.

The desk staff was very friendly and I felt welcomed and valued. There was plenty of hot water for showering and hand washing. This motel has a 2 star rating but was possibly the cleanest 2 star I have ever stayed in. Clean carpets, I could walk on with bare feet. Clean sheets, immaculate bathroom. Good wifi, lots of tv channels, fridge/microwave clean. Ice machine in good working order. Parking directly outside our room. Great meal at The Hungry Fisherman across the road (try the chili verde and clam chowder). We do not normally stay at 2 starts but for this special event weekend our normal hotel was $425 per night, we "settled" for this place because we could afford it and we were pleasantly surprised.

The walls are very thin so we could hear everthing happening upstairs and next door on both sides of our room. The beds are very firm/hard, if you like a med/soft mattress you will not like these. The price was $201.00 per night, I am sure this is because of the big parent weekend at CalPoly SLO, prices were raised everywhere. We stayed in the area for about $100.00 per night within the last 3 months (and under normal circumstances I would not be willing to pay more than $100 per night to stay here).
