Location is very close to major restaurants on strand. We just needed a safe clean place (that allows pets) to sleep while passing through. Due to late day booking, we had a room on the 2nd Floor, but stairs were well graded and climbing was not difficult for an elderly person, and I like not having anyone walking around above me, so room was pretty quiet. The Blinds instead of curtains blocked the light well. I would stay here again.

I drive an EV, and I would like a level 2 charger available at any hotel I stay at. I would be happier paying a $25.00 Per Day charge fee, than a $25.00 pet fee when I know my dog isn't going to do any damage (12Lb and has never been a chewer). Install a couple of Solar panels, and you make all the profit. Not sure if there are incentives to do that in the SBO area like there are in S California.

First time staying here and enjoyed it. Got stuck with car issues in town and the lovely lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful about helping me extend our stay. I loved the bed, I thought it was very comfortable and plush and the pillows as well were nice and soft. Despite being on a main road hotel was reasonably quiet in the evenings. One night a group staying in an adjacent room got rowdy and loud but the office handled it which was appreciated. Nice stay for a nice price and will definitely be back next time we stay in Morro Bay.

Clean room, easy walk to the bay, Morrow Rock, shops and restaurants. For breakfast - try Carla's Country Kitchen..also an easy walk..not even a block. The property has remodeled the rooms with a soothing color palette, crisp linens, and ample off street parking. All the properties in Morrow Bay are older so don't be put off by the design. For location: quiet, and a good night's sleep..perfect. Dog friendly with a nightly fee unless you have true Service animal(s). We will stay in Morrow Bay instead of Paso the next time we visit.

There was no freezer compartment in the fridge. Could use a little dog potty patch, but that aside..very nice and the extra walk did us good after enjoying our seafood meals.

Loved the location. The staff is friendly and go above and beyond. Room was large (King Bed). We brought our 2 dogs. Loved that there is zero carpet in room.

The walls are thin and the people above us were loud. Very heavy feet and zero care for others. They checked in really late 11pm and were obnoxiously loud. They finally toned it down around 12:30 am but someone was up at 5:30 on a Saturday morning and again...obnoxiously loud. Will either bring a small fan to keep the white noise consistent, bring ear plugs or request 2nd floor.

the location is fine, we enjoy walking and biking so this was just fine. There's a very good restaurant just across the street open for breakfast and lunch. the people who run the Rock View are very helpful with most of the activities in the the area, even the local High school sports. The rooms are clean and comfortable and parking is easy.

We try to stay at this location when we travel to Morro Bay , so we really don't have a dislike. Its a well run family business

Fair enough, I spent just one night here. It's a modern and clean two-story motel-style hotel with complimentary courtyard parking. For that , the price is absolutely okay. However, it's worth noting that some guests, particularly long-term residents, can be challenging. The potential for nightly disturbances may arise if the hotel management isn't proactive in addressing such issues.

During my stay, an older lady, who seemed to be struggling with mental health, spent the entire evening searching for her kitten, creating noise audible throughout the rooms. Additionally, there were two instances of a car alarm going off at night, disrupting everyone's sleep. Perhaps, I just had an unlucky night during my stay. Ground coffee was provided in the room, but couldn’t be used because there was only a pad coffee machine...

The owner was the sweetest lady ever. The rooms are updated and very clean. We were very stressed when looking for a room and this turned out to be a perfect place. Just a block from the Embarcadero and The Rock. Absolutely a wonderful place.

Air conditioning doesn't stay on at night. Motion sensor i assume. So room doesn't cool down while sleeping.

The front desk person was lovely and the room was immaculate. The shower was really nice with good water pressure and really hot water.

The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable but I think it had to do with the platform it was set up on and not the actual mattress itself. The pillows were super comfy though and the room was very clean so that made up for it. I’d happily come back.

The lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The property is in a prime location for access to shopping by the bay, driving to the beach, and access to main street for the farmers market on Saturday. Beds were very comfortable.

There’s was nothing over the top about this place but everything you would need at the same time.

It was clean and comfortable. It even smells fresh! The room was spacious and had a fridge microwave, hairdryer, iron. There were plenty of outlets and storage space. It was quiet.😊

We didn’t ask for one, the only improvement would have been a bathtub. They may have one in another room!😊
