Artistic gem in the middle of Lynnwood. Beautiful gardens. Interesting history. Lovely onsite art gallery. Enjoyed a scrumptious meal @ De Kraal restaurant. Our rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable.

Power outage during the night. No generator operational during this time. Do not think it was general loadshedding as neighbouring properties had power. Would suggest having a torch or battery powered lights in the rooms during such times.

We stayed here before. It's a lovely property in a quiet cul-de-sac. The room is large with very spacious bathroom and lovely couch and comfortable bed

The gardens were not as well maintained as we were used to and the lighting from the parking can be improved. Not sure if the recent weather patterns were too blame. Although they mentioned that the restaurant was closed we expected the historic breakfast room to be open, maybe our interpretation was wrong

Breakfast was very good - outside in the lovely garden. Historical value of venue and beautiful well-maintained gardens. Room is decorated beautifully, comfortable couch and bed.Area is safe.

There was no hot water when I wanted to shower in the morning. I would appreciate wine glasses in the room and extra space to put toiletries on in the bathroom. Curtains in room next to bed do not have block-out lining and room is a bit light at night.

I like the room 6 we were given, worked well for my family of 2 kids. We liked the bathroom, and frameless shower, big enough to not spew water all over. The minimalist design was to our liking, fridge and coffee in the room was great. Gas geyser worked efficiently. Beautiful gardens, and lovely dogs that are child friendly. Close to several Malls and great for a morning jog. We also purchased a picnic, and Mcc… sat in the gardens… very quiet and peaceful. Taryn was available for to help with any request.

The on site restaurant has limited options and Breakfast is not inclusive of the stay. Fireplace was not user friendly.

From the moment I reserved my booking they made contact with me. They welcomed us when we entered the property. We wanted something to drink and they opened the bar for us. It is very rare that you can settle your bar bill the next day. There was a fire place and they supplied us with wood and firelighters. The fridge in the room was filled with cool drinks and still water and the amenities was more than what I was to at any place I normally would visit. I would have paid more if the payment did not go off from my card. Management and staff are exceptional. Well done and we will make sure that you receive a lot of people who will come to stay at your facility.

Private back door space with access to the garden. Will definitely book with them again

It would be great if there was a breakfast option included on the rate. Could also use a bit more lighting near the entrance/ fridge area part of the room I was in

Breakfast was really good and healthy. The hosts are wonderful very kind and attentive and gracious. They made sure you felt at home.

The rooms are like huts 🛖 with traditional hut roofs. It was really charming but needs vigilant attention as spiders and tiny insects are attracted to such set up.

Great place to stay in nice rooms in a kind of park setting. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Great restaurant on the premises where you can get breakfast and lunch in a very nice garden setting.

I did not have enough time to also enjoy a lunch there… and if you are tall, the beds aren’t very long. But let that not stop you of staying there.

They had lovely decor and were helpful when we forgot stuff (and arranged to pick up after check out). The room was also outfitted with a lovely wood burning fireplace.

On the photos on Booking.com, there were a bath (with "bath" also being one of our filters). However, they only have limited rooms with baths and we didn't end up getting one (instead getting a modern shower). They (Chris and Anette) did say that Booking.com just put you into random room and doesn't always take your wishes into account. This wasn't necessarily the best part of our first part of honeymoon. Other than this incident, Chris and Anette where very helpful and tried to be as accommodating as possible.
