The property was affordable and conveniently located close to shops. It was quiet and peaceful, providing a very relaxing atmosphere. Our host, Desiree, was incredibly helpful and sweet, and some of the staff were also friendly and accommodating, making the stay feel warm and welcoming.

There wasn’t much to dislike. However, it felt like privacy could be improved as people occasionally passed by the windows and passages. Although they weren’t intrusive, it required keeping the curtains and blinds closed for complete privacy.

I loved the beautiful outdoor courtyard, climate-controlled room (which is rare to find in SA), hot shower, and strong wifi. The breakfast was also incredibly cozy and nice. I loved the kitchen cook and the property owner. Both were so kind and warm. Finally, you can purchase wonderful art from the owner's late husband. He is so talented, and every room hols his beautiful paintings. Overall, amazing property, great price. Highly, highly recommend.

My boyfriend and his friend really enjoyed their stay and the close proximity to both the Republic of Congo embassy and Hatfield station. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and suited their needs perfectly. It was also reasonably priced.

As the accommodation is called "Bed and Breakfast in Hatfield," I assumed breakfast would be included. This was not so, and I believe this is misleading. 6 the morning, we were advised that breakfast is an additional R 146.00 pp. I went back to the accommodation details, and this was stated in the small print, which I had misread. Still, it is important to note that the price does not include breakfast as advertised in the heading / name of the accommodation.

Very comfortable room with everything you need, before you can even think of it. We arrived mid-morning and were permitted to check-in already. We had long and late day of work after lunch so it was fantastic to be able to leave our bags and freshen up when we arrived in Pretoria after our flight. We did not get stuck in traffic at all as the house is close to Engineering 4.0 and Future Africa. Desiree communicated promplty and we were immediately welcomed and shown around when we arrived.

The beautiful art and garden, and the wonderful staff. Runya was exceptionally helpful, going out of his way to make us as comfortable as possible. The ladies were all warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed the rusks and the endless cups of coffee. The breakfast was yummy and filing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a very late arrival, at 10PM. Runja welcomed us and was very friendly. Our family room had comfy beds, warm bedding and heaters for the cold night. Even rusks and some milk in the fridge to make some coffee. The breakfast the next day was great. Some of us ordered Poached eggs,,,that aren't the easiest to make...and they were perfect. The location is great with safe inside parking. We could have a look at the artist studio and see some of his artworks, which was a bonus. Thank you for a great stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Runja.

Our family room had a shared bathroom in the middle between two rooms. It was a bit awkward having to go through the bathroom to our room. But for the price, the inconvenience is a minor!

The room we stayed in was very spacious and had all the amenities for a short stay. The staff and especially the manager Runya were helpful and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful, a little bit of peace and quiet in the centre of Hatfield.

I think the owners will have to look at alternative means of cooking for their guests as there are no ways to cook, boil a kettle etc when load shedding or power outages strike. Lights, shower, TV etc are fine it is just cooking.

The property was an easy & safe walk from the Gautrain station in Hatfield. It was a lovely quiet neighbourhood & all the jacarandas were in bloom. It was a boiling hot day so the pool was an added bonus. I enjoyed the privacy of being in the end room upstairs as a single lady traveller. There was ‘proper’ coffee, fresh milk & the most delicious rusks. Things that mean a lot to me!! The bathroom was spacious with a bath & shower & all essential toiletries.

There wasn’t anything I would fault

The rooms are partially protected against loadshedding giving you lights and a plug for charging which isn’t something you can get everywhere. The rooms have more than everything you’d need and the coffee machine is a nice addition. Rooms are clean and everything is in a good condition.

Not a complaint however the only negative was a plumbing issue with pipes outside the room. The staff were attentive and actually alerted me to the problem when it occurred and moved me to a new room to fix the problem. Very professional and hands on.

Always perfect to stay. The place is close to University and very easy to find. Safe parking space directly in front of the room, the unbelievable taste Rusky and Coffee which is available and daily fresh in each room make it feeling like home when you come back from a day trip
