This hotel is quiet and good-looking. The location is near the omicho area, and it’s very convenient to go to other visiting spots. The room is clean and large. And the staff are very very warm. Because of the earthquake we were trapped in amaharashi area and there is no public transportation to go back to Kanazawa. Thanks to Miyoshi-san, he drove for over two hours to pick us back to the hotel, and arranged a new room for us. The word is not enough to express my thanks in the difficult period. Hoping your hotel can recover soon from the earthquake and everything can go on well in the future. ❤️

A fantastic smaller hotel in the heart of Kanazawa. Location is great for doing just about anything you’d like to do during your trip. About a 15min walk from the main train station. The staff are so polite and welcoming. The building is older but nicely renovated. Everything is very clean. The rooms are so cozy and comfortable. Size is appropriate for Japan. There is art/photos in the rooms and a real plant. It is a very charming place that is different from the bigger, chain hotels. I’m also not sure what it was, but I got the best sleep here that I’ve had my entire trip. Do yourself a favor and stay here! Oh and definitely try one of their special ginger drinks at the mini cafe they have on the first floor! Delicious.

The kindest staff!!! Excellent and super polite guest experience and care, the best we had in 3 weeks traveling in Japan. Amazing cafe downstairs (go to the back room, you’ll be surprised!) with delicious coffee, oat lattes and fresh fruit. It’s a very cool space. Great location, close to the market, public transportation to and from the station, and many sights. Everything was very clean, but the rooms are quite run down.

Just like the restaurant area is super modern, stylish and beautiful, the rest of the rooms could also be updated so they are a bit more modern. Easy and small changes such as removing the broken “menu folders” from the rooms for just paper, a fresh coat of paint (walls are full of marks), or investing in pillows or mattress toppers, would already make an impact. It has loads of potential 😊

Upon arriving, we were greeted by the staff. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and informative. The hotel itself is simple, not modern, but it has everything you need. The location was great. Right next to the park with many restaurant options in the area. The top score goes to the staff. I've been to a handful of hotels in Japan and this was by far the best interaction with the staff I've had. I would go back just for the service. Highly recommend!

Facilities could use a bit of an upgrade. There was only one washer for the whole apartment, but it was a minor inconvenience. Almost not worth mentioning.

A small, yet modern hotel run by enthusiastic young people who have really made an effort to update the building and make the small rooms as comfortable as possible. Well thought-out amenities, hooks in the bathroom where you need them. There's also a cute cafe on the bottom floor where you can get coffee and goodies. The management speaks relatively good English and are very helpful. The hotel is located very close to Ochimo Market, where you can get amazingly fresh fish (sushi, sashimi, etc) for very reasonable prices.

The rooms are very small, but as mentioned above, they work!

I really enjoyed my stay in this small bohemian hotel. When I arrived a couple hours to leave my bag, they said my room was ready and I could have it early, which is always nice. They were super friendly. The little lobby is very cute. The room is small but quite comfortable and also very cute. I slept well and made use of the paid washing machine which was convenient. It is well located next to the main market where I got fresh sushi and a short walk to the castle grounds and nearby historic neighborhoods. I would definitely stay here again and found it a great value.

Cozy cafe at the hotel entrance with great coffee and relaxing jazz music. Room was beautiful and very comfortable. The pajamas were so soft! You can purchase a pair - I wish I had! The location is fantastic. Just a 15 min. walk from the train station, right next to the Omicho Fish Market and a short walk to the castle grounds and Kenrokuen Garden. They rent bikes and there's also an electric bike rental station just down the street. We rented e-bikes every day and easily got around town to see all the sites. Even rode them up to the lookout on nearby Mount Utatsu. You do need a Japan phone number to rent online. Maybe the hotel would let you use theirs? The staff were very friendly and kind and spoke English well. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again!

The breakfast was the only disappointment. It was just a piece of toast and a tiny portion of yogurt with granola. And I mean tiny, like a few spoonfuls. It was only 500 yen but hardly worth it. Better to spend your money on a bigger meal that will sustain you until lunchtime.

The staff was quick to offer to help us make any reservations we needed. They were very kind, and they helped us with a lot of questions we had. We had never shipped luggage from one hotel to another before. They pretty much did the whole thing for us. The rooms are huge for a Japanese hotel. Big bed with room on all sides of the bed. My boyfriend brought a huge suitcase (bigger than common checked suitcases), and we had plenty of room for that, my luggage, both our backpacks, and all of our souvenirs. The location was great. It's pretty central. Right next to the market, between the castle and the main historic geisha district. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very affordable and cozy single room for a solo traveller, without being cramped. The hotel had all the amenities that you could need- private bathroom, elevator, laundry facilities, vending machine and the staff were cheerful and kind. The location was a 15 minute walk from Kanazawa station, and a two minute walk to omicho market. Similarly Kanazawa castle park and it's surrounds are only about 10 minute walk from the door of the hotel.

My only criticism would be the mattress could be a little more supportive. And that a good set of earplugs may be needed on those rainy nights, which are frequent in kanazawa (bring an umbrella!)

A lovely boutique hotel which exceeded my expectations. It had a stylish vibe and a comfy room with the nice touch of a courtesy brown rice teabag in the room. The granola breakfast available downstairs in the lobby cafe was delicious. Bikes are available for hire at the lobby, and there is a beautifully renovated bar where you can have a drink at the end of the day. The staff are super nice and helpful and the location is very close to the castle park. It's definitely where I'd stay if I'm returning to Kanazawa.
