We loved the room, and the view from the room was absolutely stunning! The staff were also quite friendly and helped us book taxis, resolve any room issues, and pick us up from the airport on time. It is also a clean property with the food at their restaurant being reasonably priced and all this was was worth the money!

The main disappointment was the breakfast. It was not at all up to the mark: there was barely any choice and of our four-day stay, two days did not even have a breakfast spread but rather the waitress came to our table with a selection of foods that we did not particularly want to eat: it was just cheese, some vegetables and some bread and when we requested for pancakes and bananas on the side, she told us we could have either one of those but not both. It was disappointing because we had paid money for the breakfast and were not even allowed to eat what we wanted. I would expect a refund from the lodge for these two days that we had to endure this as it was the only downside to our stay there.

This is a lovely hotel but still needs improvement to get it up towards 5 star level. Please ignore other reviews that give it a 10 or indeed a very poor score as both not true. We had a lovely stay but it could have been even better with a few simple changes. The rooms have a kitchenette but no plates, cooking utensils, pots or pans etc, so this addition would make it much easier to use this facility. For such a lovely hotel the restaurant and bar could be much better. The breakfast is good and served until 11am which was useful. For lunch and dinner, options are limited although the food was good. There is a lovely Serbian BBQ restaurant a short drive away which is well worth a visit. The staff at the hotel were generally very good and helped very quickly when requested. We were able to book taxis easily and were cheap to get around so didn’t need a car. It’s very close tk Kotor Old town and also Porto Montenegro in Tivat, both well worth a visit. This hotel is in a great location, but nothing within walking distance but taxis are cheap and easy to get to get around. There is a small shop within walking distance or supermarket a short drive away. Please don’t be put off by the very negative reviews you will find on here, we had a great stay and would recommend it as the rooms are lovely and the pool side access room is definitely worth the extra money. The pools and gardens are stunning and not too busy. The pool temp is perfect to cool off in, ignore reviews that states it’s too warm! The hotel is trying very hard to make it a wonderful place to stay and can see from reviews they have made changes to improve so would recommend to stay at.

No cooking utensils or plates etc in kitchenette. Restaurant and bar could be better in terms of space to sit and enjoy drink inside. Coffee or tea not available after breakfast.

The pool area gets quite noisy and a child defecated in the lower pool during our stay, so it was unusable. Perhaps one of the pools should be made into an adult only zone

The 2 swimming pools were lovely; clean and never too crowded. Occasionally struggled to get a sunbed! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff at breakfast and throughout the day were always cheerful and happy to help. The administrative staff were very helpful, sorting out a few holiday but non hotel related issues for me. Transfers to and from the airport were appreciated.

No cooking utensils eg a pan in kitchen area of room. Would have been nice to have been able to use the stove. Up a hill with narrow roads to coast but did get used to driving on them after a few days!

My stay at Montenegro Lodge was splendid. The Lodge is finely situated in a most convenient location in between the most popular destinations in Montenegro, namely, Kotor and Tivat, and also within reasonable distance from Budva. Did I mention how close it is to Tivat airport? :) Their professionalism was adequate as well, in terms of response times to the various needs my partner and I had when we were indoors. Regarding informing us as to the best places to go to have a fun-filled and fulfilled trip, especially as first-time tourists in Montenegro, we have to give a round of applause to Umit, one of their friendliest and loveliest staff. He made our stay extremely convenient and all the more special, as he took us on tours, told us where the best restaurants and beaches were, and now we’ve become great friends. Having met someone like him in a foreign country was a breath of fresh air. We hope that when we return to Montenegro, we get to spend time with him again, and whenever we go on our much deserved vacations, to meet fantastic and kind individuals just like him. Conclusively, Montenegro Lodge is a great, picturesque, and a well located place to stay at whilst in Montenegro✨

Pool access from room was great and also view from top floor was stunning.

Since there are small kitchen area in the apartments, then some basic kitchen utensils like forks, knives and wine glasses would be great to have.

A couple of days ago, I stayed at a hotel and my experience was truly wonderful. The hotel's pool was very clean, and we enjoyed using it throughout the day. The services were well above my expectations; everyone, from the reception to the room service, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The cleanliness was equally impressive; the room was meticulously cleaned every day. The pool area was also regularly cleaned and maintained, allowing us to swim comfortably. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

It was a lovely hotel, well appointed and good size rooms, super comfortable bed, very effective air con, and lovely balcony with gorgeous views of the bay. We had our 16yo on the sofa bed she said it was comfy and the staff provided additional top cover and pillow on request. The swimming pools are stunning and lovely respite from the heat. The rules are no use before 10.30am at the pool, and I assume that’s because breakfast is served right next door around the pool. The bottom pool could be available earlier to satisfy some of the kids who clearly wanted to jump in! (That being said it would require parents to actually pay attention to them! Clearly nothing to do with staff!) Staff are so friendly and kind and very generous with their efforts, which I think guests could be better with, such as staff putting out clean towels every morning and people just leaving dirty glasses/foods and wet towels at beds rather than to the bar/bins, so people don’t know if beds continue to be I n use. As you can tell most of the issues were guests rather than staff or the hotel. Breakfast was good, and varied. Beers were cold, my 16yo had a smash burger which was massive and she said it was really good. We didn’t eat there very often.

The route to the property from Kotor was quite difficult in a hire car. You need at least a 1.6l engine (and be confident) for the single lane high gradient road. The road to Tivat is better! There seems to be some communication issues between staff as to when drinks and/or food is available. Everyone is lovely but it seems a few teething issues.

Lovely staff they where very helpful especially the young lady who took me to my room then got me milk and sugar. The free shuttle to the airport was an added bonus, The view from my room was absolutely stunning, my stay at the lodge has definitely made me want to return to Montenegro.

Beautiful new hotel at a very attractive "soft opening" price. We were there with another couple for 6 nights, we knew that the hotel is new and not everything would be fully operational. Overall, it was a very nice stay, we enjoyed it very much. The staff is exceptional, professional and friendly. The rooms are 35m2, with a balcony, wonderful view and very comfortable. The two swimming pools, the sun beds, umbrellas and the towels were fantastic. The staff is exceptional.

I understand the people that are complaining about the breakfast and the kitchen utensils etc., but, you have to be fair, when everything is fully operational the price would probably be much higher.You have to know that they are in process of adding more services. Location:Like many hotels in this area if you don't have a car you have to take a taxi to the beach and restaurants (or use the hotel's pool and restaurant). There isn't anything (restaurants or coffee shops) around the hotel.
