The location of the hotel is ideal for those who want to explore the old town and enjoy the restaurants. The beach is just a short walk away. The staff is very pleasant, polite, accommodating and not intrusive. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The air conditioner worked flawlessly (we have experienced poor air conditioning in other hotels and this is a big inconvenience in such a hot climate). The breakfast was varied, fresh and of high quality, tastefully served.

The location of the hotel is excellent: It's in the heart of the Old Town and most of the landmarks of Kotor are within walking distance. The receptionists and the restaurant/kitchen staff treated me well. My room was big enough. The sound isolation of the windows must be perfect because when it was noisy outside, I heard nothing when I closed all the windows. The A/C was working well enough. The bathroom was full of high-quality amenities. My bed was huge and comfortable. The housekeeper lady made up my room. The breakfast service was satisfactory. The minibar was not so expensive. Last but not least, the wireless Internet connection was good enough.

It may be considered noisy unless you close all the windows. The lighting of the room was a little bit poor. There were few sockets in the room and they were used by lamps, that's why I had to unplug some lamps when I had to charge my phone and smartwatch simultaneously. Even though the hotel's location is good in its proximity to the Old Town and other city landmarks, it was not easy to find the hotel for the first time, especially at night, as I had to walk through very narrow dark streets.

Hotel has a prime location in the old town of Kotor, right on the clock square and within very easy walking distance of all the hospitality outlets that are in the town. The hotel bar also has a cafe-bar type tabled terrace that looks out onto the square and serves food, snacks and bar drinks. Staff at the hotel are excellnt.....very professional and friendly. A special mention for the waiter that was looking after breakfast. He had alot to do when it was busy as he was working solo and really did do a great job and keeping everything stocked. My room was a top floor suite. The bedroom part was nicely fitted out, comfortable bed and plenty of space, even including table and easy chairs. The room had a fridge. The a/c struggled a little to cool to 22c, but the room did eventually cool down. Curtains were a bit of a mess....they had come off their runners and cord pull, so were tricky to close at night. Bathroom was lovely with twin sinks and semi separate loo/bidet, great shower pressure. The water too is good and very drinkable. The living room area of the suite was very small and quite dark. I'm not sure it would be worth upgrading to a suite if I stay again, but it does guarantee a front view over the square. Breakfast was mostly continental self serve, fresh bakery items, salad, fruit, cold meat/cheese and toast. Each day there was some hot food (potatoes, eggs, sausage etc) as well. Coffee machine was not so great though...a bean to cup machine is really needed for this standard of hotel and the room rates being charged. The old town is fully pedestrianised so there is no parking if you are driving. The taxi drop off point is just outside the entrance to the old town and it was only around 3 minutes level to walk from the drop off point to the hotel reception. I would stay here again, alot more positives than negatives.

There is a 'wellness centre' on the top floor that has a small gym. It has to be booked in advance though and at night it seemed to be booked out and unavailable...even though none of the other guests I spoke to were using it? A fresh coffee machine at breakfast would be a real improvement.

Perfect location for the old town of Kotor. Very spacious junior suite. Great shower. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet had a very good range of choices. Staff are excellent, always polite and helpful. Two ladies on reception, Jelena and Anja, were especially good. Recommending great restaurants, and on hand to get the wi-fi working when it went down. Excellent arrangements were made for the airport transfers, good value at 30 euros per trip, I think taxis were charging 40.

The location is inside the Old Town. Just 2-3 few minute walk also from the docking area of yachts and cruise ships. The room was really cozy, I looooove the heated bathroom floor and they have a bidet ♥️ And what I really love most is the feee toiletries (RITUALS) which is my favorite brand and I personally use at home. The staff was really friend and they even gave me a souvenir ♥️ Plus when I’m hungry the restaurants were just less than 5 min walk from the hotel, there was even a pizza place just in front of the hotel.

The breakfast has limited choices though but it doesn’t matter much as I don’t eat a lot. But the staff was attentive and constantly checking up on me if I meed anything as it’s off season so not much guests was checked in. It can be a bit noisy though from people passing by but since it was off season so as early as 7pm there was not much people roaming inside the Old Town

The room was lovely and big with a big comfortable bed and large modern bathroom. Location excellent just inside the old town with a beautiful view of the square but nice and quiet with the double glazed windows. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant on the square attached to the hotel was very good too. Highly recommend staying here.

The entrance to the hotel is around the side and the restaurant manager gets very cross if you enter through the restaurant as we discovered when we first arrived late at night and did not see the side door!

Two waiters in particular were excellent - Miladin and Mitar. They were friendly, helpful and often very amusing. They bent over backwards for us on every occasion and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was in a stunning location on the square and in the middle of everything. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. They were very clean.

The sauna was not freely available particularly when there was a rainstorm and the receptionists could have been more forthcoming with assistance on how to get from A to B. We had booked three rooms for our party for a week and whereas one member of the party had issues dealt with quickly, one of the rooms had drain problems which were not fully addressed. This did not however spoil our stay.

We stayed at Hotel Vardar with my cousin for the new year and enjoyed it! The hotel's location and the breakfast were the best! Our room was quite good, but we complained about room lighting from time to time. The light was so dim that sometimes we had difficulty doing our make-up. However, it was worth it with the ambiance of Kotor Old Town. Breakfast was perfect for me. I found everything that I needed. If i revisit Kotor Old Town, i will choose to stay again in Hotel Vardar. But i hope this time you'll give me a front view room :)
