I stayed one night at Hotel Marija in the heart of Kotor's Old Town and really enjoyed the experience. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to soak in the charm and history of the old town-everything is right at your doorstep. The room itself was clean, with a tasteful blend of old-world character and modern comfort. The staff were friendly, professional, and made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. I also appreciated the little touches like the bathrobes, which added a nice extra bit of comfort to the stay. One thing to keep in mind: due to the central location, it can be quite noisy even at night. If you're a light sleeper, a pair of earplugs would definitely come in handy.

Staff: The check-in staff was polite, but check-out was a poor experience. The staff member—a tall lady—was rude and unprofessional. When I asked her to check if my payment had already been processed through Booking.com, she responded by banging on the desk instead of answering politely. This behavior was unacceptable and made for an uncomfortable end to the stay. Location: Great, central city location, but not worth the trouble. Breakfast: Disappointing. The setup was unappealing and lacked essentials, even a coffee machine. It seemed they didn’t care about quality at all. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The location is amazing! Right in the middle of old town. Breakfast was good and lovely big bathroom and windows that look out into the old town. Good aircon and a wee fridge in the room which was great.

The noise at night with the ice cream rolling cart right below the window however we had earplugs so wasn’t too much of a problem. Some of the staff also weren’t the friendliest however one lady on reception was very lovely.

Perfect central location, great views, friendly staff and very clean. I have stayed here a few times now and I do so because the rooms have everything I need and it’s very good value for money.

Only issue for me is I don’t eat cold eggs and most breakfast items are egg based. There is enough cheese and ham, fruit etc but toast maybe a nice extra for next time. I will be booking again

The location is right in the middle of the old town, which was perfect. The accommodation is arranged in a classic 1920 style. Quiet interesting. Room with a view on the narrow city street. Very romantic. Breakfast homemade was very tasty and plenty to choose from. Highly recommend for adult couples.

Lack of parking. Need to park outside the city walks for a hefty 20 euro per night.

The location is the absolute best! Right at the heart of the old town with proximity to attractions, restaurants, and everything else you may need. Hosts were welcoming and helpful, facilities were good and my room was very neat, cleaned twice a day. As a solo traveler I felt safe and at home while I was there. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of items.

Some breakfast items were really cold by the time you came down for it. There were however many options to pick from.

Amazing location right in the old town of Kotor, but actually nice and quiet at night. Room was very comfortable. Plenty of choice for breakfast (we would have liked some fresh fruit, but it was a national holiday so shops were closed, which might explain why there wasnt any that day). No problem to leave bags while we explored the following day.

Excellent location, right in the centre of the old town, and easy to find despite the labyrinthine nature of the old town. The breakfast was good, with some hot food and some local dishes. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The air conditioning was appreciated.

The decor is quite dated - furniture could use a refresh. The coffee at the breakfast was not great. It was quite noisy at night, which is understandable given the location, but the window and the shutters didn't fully close which made it hard to keep the noise out - changes to the windows might be restricted by UNESCO, so this isn't necessarily a criticism of the hotel, but something to keep in mind.

First and foremost, the location of this place was simply unbeatable. Situated in the heart of the Old Town, it offered easy access to all the major attractions and attractions. It is situated in a old building and it has traditional style. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Overall, my stay at this place was enjoyable, and I would gladly return for its location and the exceptional hospitality of the staff.

It is a bit pricey for what it offers but I noticed that prices are high in this area, this season. While the staff and location were exceptional, there were a couple of areas that fell short of expectations. One such area was the breakfast. Although it was included in the price, the quality and variety of the breakfast options left something to be desired. I felt that for the price I paid, I expected a more diverse and higher-quality selection. Additionally, the thin walls of the place posed a slight inconvenience. As a light sleeper, I could occasionally hear coughing and other noises from neighboring rooms. This affected my overall sleep quality and was a minor drawback to an otherwise comfortable stay.

The hotel is definitely located in a fantastic place. It offers a very tasty and diverse breakfast. Having a drink at the hotel's outdoor restaurant, right in the middle of the old city, truly becomes one of the special moments of the holiday. It has a very central location. I arrived in the city early in the morning, and I am very thankful for the additional help they provided during check-in.
