Absolutely stunning place. The room was lovely and very comfortable. Bed was not too hard and not too soft. Perfect. The a/c worked amazing and for once on this European summer trip, we were actually cold because it worked so well haha The gentleman who runs the place is phenomenal! He is so nice, personable and hospitable!! He does it all and really makes sure that your stay is great. He really helped make the stay even better than how nice it was already. Breakfast was also very very good! Had a good amount of options. This is more of a bed and breakfast vibe with the “homey” vibe it gives off and how nice all the staff were. The proximity to the old town is great!! Close enough for a 4 min walk and you’re at the north gate. Far enough so it’s quiet at night.

Bathroom was a little tight but I’m reaching now to find anything bad.

We have the Deluxe Apartment which is highly recommended. It’s very spacious and comfortable with the view of the old town and mountains. It’s very quiet at night and we could sleep very well. The pillows are comfortable. The old town is 5 minutes away walking. There is a shopping mall across the street from the hotel. There are bakeries and restaurants nearby. The speed boat harbor to Perast, a very beautiful small town in the bay of Kotor, is also nearby with 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff is very friendly. Good breakfast to start the day. The staff takes us to Tivat airport, which is close by Kotor. We highly recommend this hotel.

Garni Hotel Tianis is a gem in a gem of a city, Kotor. The accommodations are fabulous, updated, upscale, and spacious. The staff are kind and helpful. It's a very short walk to Old Town, which is excellent. That is because Old Town, with all of its charm, can get very crowded, and loud with bars playing music and people gathering outside at all hours and late at night -- which is itself a wonderful social environment but can make it difficult to get peace and quiet, especially for sleep! Garni Hotel Tianis, being just outside the Old Town's walls, is nice and restful. The breakfast is delicious and varied, with a wide selection of fresh foods. All in all, you will enjoy staying here.

We absolutely LOVED this one-night stay! The weather was awful on our day of check in, and they messaged to say we could have our room any time which made an enormous difference to us (the rain was too heavy for wandering around Kotor!). I hadn't realised we needed to reserve parking but the receptionist was lovely about it, sorting out a spot and helping us manoeuvre into it (not as easy as it sounds!). Breakfast was delicious, it was lovely to have a lounge area separate from the bedroom and we enjoyed some hot drinks while our clothes and coats dried off...we would normally have a double bed but I must have forgotten to specify that, however even being in two single beds didn't affect our enjoyment of this wonderful little hotel, which is right on the edge of the old town.

Beautiful and big room with a balcony with a view of the river and the old town. The bathroom was modern. Good breakfast. Short walk to the old town, and restaurants. A mall is on the other side of the street of the hotel.

The staff are beyond friendly and welcoming. The manager kindly helped us with anything we needed. Rooms are clean and spacious with a big terrace. There were two AC's in our room (living room and bedroom area) and both worked efficiently. The beds were comfy. The hotel is super conveniently located near old town. There's a shopping center on the other side the road so it is easy to go buy any groceries you might need.

The breakfast is OK but gets a bit old in a few days. For a small hotel it is understandable though not to have the largest variety.

Great Lady in the reception, very polite and helpfull. VERY positive thing that there are some car parking places behind the hotel. The approach is little scary but the car is safe there. The location is EXCELLENT just outside the <walls> of the old town of Kotor. Very cosy and big room just under the roof. (i cant say anythng about breakfast because i had to leave very early before the breakfast time)

The matress/bed was bad without doubt. The price was kinda expensive but considering the <kotor prices> was OK (the 10 is lost because of the bed/matress)

We loved the rooftop accommodation. Ideal for friends travelling together, single beds, and the option of an additional sofa bed. Great host, unexpected lovely breakfast included in the reasonable cost. Our host found us further accommodation in Kotor, when they couldn’t accommodate us for any more nights, which was greatly appreciated. The original room was modern and had everything we needed. It is ideally situated, within a 5 minute walk of the Old Town. There is a supermarket and restaurants within a couple of minutes of the hotel.

Very friendly staff. delicious and sufficient breakfast. Location in the middle of the city and very close to the sea.

The room was really tidy, Wifi and aircon were superb! The staff were friendly and kind. They replaced my towels and cleaned my room each day, without me even asking which was extremely kind. The location of this hotel is amazing, minutes walk away from Kotor town, Kotor beach, bus terminal and there's also shortcuts from the hotel to the Old Walls.

It would have been nice to have more fresh fruits such as berries for breakfast. Some Greek yogurt or more fresh options would have been ideal, however this is just a personal preference.
