10 out of 10 would definitely recommend! Staff was super friendly & welcoming when getting checked in! Check in was quick & painless. We arrived to our room & it exceeded our expectations, very up-to-date, clean & spacious. Staff was attentive when we needed more linens for the bathroom & got them to the room quicker than promised. Everything about our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was excellent. I would definitely stay here again! We were in town for an event taking place at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum, so thank you so much for making our trip to Knoxville even more pleasant!

Sunday morning breakfast staff was a LOT nicer than Saturday morning. I had a question about the sausage (it didn't state if it was turkey or pork) and she was very polite and helpful. When she dropped glass in the breakfast food area, she blocked it off and told everyone the room was temporarily closed because she had to get a broom to clean up broken glass and she didn't want anyone to go in and get hurt. Very friendly and sweet lady.

Saturday morning breakfast the pancake maker malfunctioned and our pancakes got stuck. When we told the lady on staff that morning, she had an attitude and snapped at us, saying she couldn't do anything about it because she had to break down the entire machine and she wasn't doing that right then. Another guest asked for more cinnamon rolls and she seemed extremely bothered by the fact that another person was talking to her so she put them out ice cold.

The hotel was close to the interstate, very clean and staff was friendly and welcoming. We had everything we needed for an overnight stay...nice sized room, hot water for showers, comfortable bed and nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash!! There were also lots of food choices nearby.

The only thing wrong was the coffee maker in the room didn't work but there was coffee in the lobby at breakfast so it isn't a deal breaker 😊

Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast choice very good. There is NO pool at hotel even tho it is advertised as having a pool. Coffee and hot chocolate available at night was nice surprise. The coffee was from an actual Costa grinding and dispensing machine . Good coffee. Would be suitable as a base to visit Knoxville and surrounds.

The location was so convenient for our travel needs. The property was so clean, decor was pleasing, the staff was friendly and professional and the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely stay here again!!

Lisa was wonderful. Breakfast was always hot and ready and she made sure the coffee was ready, even with our early morning departures each day. All of your staff members were friendly and able to answer any questions we had.

The toilet in our room needs re-balanced, it was a little wobbly. The hot water in the sink took quite a while to get warm. Nothing big, just little annoyances but not enough to make it anything less than a good stay!

Breakfast was fantastic. That’s why we made the same location on the way home. I like making small conversations with the employees. It tells me if it’s a great place to stay and yes, it’s a big deal.

I would’ve liked to combine maybe another discount for the stay for example I’d like to add my AARP discount with another discount to get it in my price range a little better

Complimentary snacks was a plus my 4 year old loved the cookies! The breakfast was typically but still good nonetheless!!! They definitely season everything! And the rooms were nice and clean as well!

The pool heater was out so the pool was freezing and tasted like salt, really wished we could’ve enjoyed it like we wanted to.

We arrived on a very busy evening on Fourth of July weekend. Check in was quick and easy. It was very hot outside so the canopy drive through by the main entrance was welcome for unloading the car. The bed was very comfortable, soft as we prefer it. The room was very clean and quiet, even though the hotel was full. I would recommend it.

Rooms, lobby, etc very nice. Breakfast was exceptional. Fitness room also great. Water bottles and towels available. Cookies in the lobby in the evening were delicious. Front desk was very welcoming. They did all the little things. Great stay overall.
